** Not a DD/lg or Daddy kink. Daddy refers to the surprise pregnancy**
This was a tried and true fake relationship trope. A romance between a boss and his younger assistant. A surprise pregnancy rounds out this story and it's entertaining for sure but the mixed feelings came the more I read.
Isabella is 25 and Drew is 45 so there is a significant age difference but that wasn't really the issue. I felt like the characters didn't necessarily act their age. Drew is a rich bachelor who still refers to women as "hotties" and lets his shrew of a mother manipulate and dramatize his life. I didn't quite understand or believe the power she held over her son.
Isabella also didn't quiet make the cut, personality wise. At first we're told she's a smart independent woman, still healing over being left at the alter by her fiance and her best friend but she jumps right into a sexual relationship with her boss/older man and thinks she's emotionally able to handle a fake relationship, in front of an audience?!
It just seems like a lot of questionable actions by the MCs, one after the next. Not to mention the constant back and forth and mixed signals both MCs would send while they fell for each other but flat out denied any emotional feelings.
The ending was rushed and tbh hated all the side stories about the depressing and crappy marriages/relationships of the parents. Just weak men with no morals or honor and weak women willing to settle for crumbs and calling it Love. Hearing about Drew and Isabella's parents' "love" stories hurt the story even more. Nothing romantic about it and just frustrated me to have to read it.
Drew's mom especially! Hated how easily she gets off the hook for her douchey behavior. The fact she thinks treating her son and anyone else in her way, the way she did, all in the name of an unworthy man who loved his work more than her, was a serial cheater during and after their marriage is just ridiculous! I didn't get it at all so as an excuse it fell way flat.
Not sure I would recommend unless you like a lot of drama in your romance and toxic families is your catnip.

What a great way to end this series! Or did it end? Sources point to there may be more books coming and I hope so because l've really enjoyed this series. This one probably is my favorite out of all of them. This showcases the typical fake relationship and engagement but takes on a more personal aspect. The others I've read about in the past were more contractual, whereas this was contractual but personal feelings were involved more in it and this is what made it better for me. The others felt too much like a business transaction, this was more intimate and personal.
The emotions and words were real even though it was still a business transaction.
You can feel the heat and passion between the two of them and I liked the way they told each other what they wanted. They weren’t afraid to express their need for each other. I enjoyed reading about Isabella coming into her own with him. Her confidence was a breath of fresh air and she wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself and for Drew. Most heroines I’ve read in the books are quiet, mousey and shy. Isabella was at first but Drew brought out the confidence in her. It was enough that she was able to stand up to Drew’s mother and I haven’t seen that yet in any of the books I’ve read. This story kept me hooked from the first page and I couldn’t put it down. They stayed together throughout this book with minor issues but got through them without someone walking out. The emotion between both of them was palpable and I was rooting for them this whole time. I liked how it was a fake situation but the feelings were real between the two of them and even though Isabella never said I love you in the story, she showed it in her actions and touch. I hope there’s more to come from this series after the novella I picked up in one of the author’s newsletters.

Steven Mancini has worked for Avisa Yacht and Sailing for years as their guest relations manager and unofficial adviser to the late Mr. Roger Branson and he is still held in high regard by the family and CEO Andrew Branson, finding job for his daughter Isabella as Mr Andrew Branson’s personal secretary . This she hopes will stand her in good stead when she goes back to her studies at a law career. She had met Drew before 7 years ago at her college graduation and he humiliated her, he’s wanted her for 7 years…. But it’s only a month she’s only temporary so agrees . After tirelessly working all hours she catches a break when Drew has decided to take a mystery break so she takes advantage of one of the staff perks a four day excursion Exuma the billionaire’s island in the Bahamas on a luxury yacht , she’s relaxed on deck when someone suddenly blocks her sun and startles her out of her doze when she hears who it is. Events occur and she’s asked to work ..some break but as the boss points out this is technically a working excursion…she finds out more about him as he unburdens , they end up in each other’s arms and next thing ya know they’re dating albeit fake but with benefits….until they’re not and then they aren’t I mean ….? anyway it’s a great story lots of angst misunderstanding and love but do they find their happiness and will it be together. Read this awesome romance and find out . Well written compelling binge read.

This is the third book in the Star Island Series, but can be read as a standalone. Drew and Isabella are from opposite sides of the tracks, and she's half his age. He has it all, looks and money, but he doesn't do relationships. He's the ultimate Miami playboy bachelor. He has control of the vast empire that his parents built from scratch, but he wants the 49% his mother owns. She refuses to sell until he's in a committed relationship. Isabella is the daughter of one of his employees, and he hires her as his assistant. He's always been attracted to her and gets her to agree to a fake engagement, so he can buy his mother's shares. Plenty of drama and angst with his mother's meddling. What happens when Isabella finds out what happened to her mother? What happens when Drew proposes to Isabella on live TV? What happens when his mother creates a problem and everything is exposed? What happens when she finds out she is pregnant? This was a great book that I read in one sitting. Faking it with the Grumpy Billionaire Daddy is a super steamy, age-gap, enemies to lovers, fake fiancé romance. Isabella is a 25 year old who was recently left at the alter and has now returned home to Florida. Drew is a 45 year old, hunky, billionaire playboy. Isabella's father works for Drew, so she met him 7 years ago, and he enbarrassed her. Now she is back and going to work as his secretary for a month. Even though she was hurt, she is unable to resist the pull of Drew. Drew is a self-proclaimed bachelor and playboy. He has no plans of ever marrying but has always been attracted to Isabella. When his mother says she won't sign the company over to him until he is in a serious relationship, he hatches a scheme to make Isabella his fake girlfriend. But what happens when real feelings become involved? Will he change his ways, or is the relationship doomed? The chemistry between these two was off the charts. After a little bit of angst, we do get a great HEA. Loved it!.

This book is written so good that I didn't stop reading it until the very end. Isabella has had a rough time in life with her mom leaving her alone with her dad and being left at the alter by her fiancée Eric. So, when she starts to work for her billionaire boss Drew, she never thought that things would turn out the way that they did. Drew is trying to get 100% of the company and in order to do so he has to get married. However, Drew is a man who doesn't believe in happy ever after or marriage. So, when he decides to fake an engagement with Isabella, he never thought he would actually fall in love with her. This book will defiantly keep you turning the pages until the very end to see what happens with Isabella and Drew which is really good.

WOW Harley Storm did it again with this hot and steady book. Must read it was a page turner and the suspense off the charts. It was a fast paced. I was at the edge of my seat and it was addicted and I could not put it down. And the plot was breathtaking of romance drama. Eric and Isabella was going to be married but she was left at the altar alone. She realized she deserved better than Eric. That when she ran into Drew a sexy hot billionaire and their attraction was physical intimacy and their chemistry was sizzling until they had a one night stand. And the consequences lead to an unexpected twist for these two. Or a bundle of joy? Drew really impressed Isabella out on a date. Drew was the eternal playboy dead set on never settling down and marrying. Having lived through his parents divorce he was insistent that he would not open himself up to be hurt like that.
Isabella has returned home after having been stood up at the alter and is equally insistent that she will never put herself through that again.
Drew's mum informs him she will only hand over the family business to him if he settles down. Not wanting to do this for real he approaches Isabella with the proposition of a fake relationship.
This was a fantastic story about two individuals fighting their feelings and nearly loosing everything as a result. Great story with steam, angst and difficult families.

Isabella is trying to start her life again after being left at the altar. Her dad' helps get her a job with Drew as his personal assistant. Isabella doesn't like Drew much because of how he treated her a few years back. Sparks fly between them and when he asks her to pretend to date him. She never expected that he would take it further but its not long before things heat up between them causing more complications. Will they both find more than they counted on with each other?
This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This steamy story had me from the first page. Drew is determined to gain control of his company by buy out his mother. The only problem is that she won't sell until he decides to get married. He comes up with the idea of a fake marriage to Isabella the daughter of his father's closest advisor. What starts out as a ploy to get the shares from his mother turns into feelings blossoming between them and their relationship is no longer fake. When the truth comes out will Drew be able to keep Isabella the woman that has tamed his heart and have him ready to say I do for the long haul.

This was a quick read. It had a good plot to it. The spice was nice as well. I loved the characters within the story. You have the grumpy never going to get married billionaire Drew. Then you have the sweet Isabella who had just been left at the alter. Needing a job she begins working for Drew. Enters Drew’s mother who is pushing him to get married. Now Drew has to figure out what to do next. You see how Drew and Isabella navigate everything to finally get their happily ever after.

The ups and downs of life
This story tells of a young man who's family trying to control his life and he finds away to take it back by becoming up with a fake feancey then he is told that to get his club that has to marry for his mother to sign the paper's for said club. Only to find out that his fake girl is now pregant with his baby so he asks if she would make it real and not pretend aragement between them.I would like to say thank you for all your hard work and may fortune smile 😃on you always 😁from a bookworm

OMG the sizzle and passion between Isabella and Drew is amazing. They work together and then they start a fake relationship that becomes very real. They try to back off but that doesn't work. Drew has an evil mother who doesn't make things easy for them. This book has many twists and turns that make it exciting and youdont want to put it down.

With this age novel you are glued to your book from the start. The storyline and the attraction between the main characters is great and you just get lost in their story. It is highly recommended and a page turner.

needs major edits
This had so many grammatical errors. At times I struggled to even follow along. We’d start out with quotation marks where someone would start talking, but there was never an end quotation. Not to mention there would just be random quotation marks where they didn’t belong. I did read this on Kindle Unlimited, so maybe it was just that version?

Loved it!

The author has given us a wonderful older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Drew and Isabella. The story keeps us turning the pages with connection, a fake relationship and steam.

I loved this book so freaking much. This is one of my favorite tropes and I honestly will never get enough of it. Seriously read it. You will love drew and Isabella so much. Heck you might start it and not even put it down until you are done!
