There, she crosses paths with Max Kinkaid, a wind worker and elemental, like herself. When Max introduces her to his friends from Justice, Lucinda thinks she may have found her place.
One of the creatures goes missing, and Lucinda joins her new friends on a rescue mission that will lead them underground, exposing new and old enemies.

I have discovered a love for young adult books for the last few years, and this novella caught my imagination immediately. I adored Creatures Of Chaos from start to finish. The characters themselves, well I couldn't pick one! They are all so real. I was a teenager again with this group. To say it's a novella, Ashley Brandt has done a marvellous job with their development. They had it all going on. I was so eager to get the complete tale that it was read in no time! I was gutted to have finished this so fast. I was left thinking about the characters and wondering how long I had to wait for the next book. I'm still wondering now. I do hope it isn't that far in the future. A definite cracking read that has everything needed to make it an immersive and addictive read!
With throwbacks to 80s high school movies, this short YA novel is a really easy read. With well described characters and an intriguing story, I feel like this will appeal to a lot of readers.
For myself I liked that it flowed well, with short snappy chapters and although told from the viewpoint of one character, I still feel I got to know the others in the group from the way the book is written. A good set up for a new series. I'd be interested to read the sequel!
Overall an absolutely addictive, action packed fantasy/dystopia novella filled with friendship, action, mythology, mystery and more that will keep you turning the pages until you have devoured it in a couple of hours and suspend you on the cliff hanger ending!!
