The Kindle edition of this classic Constructive Living book. The content offers practical advice for modern living based on a Western adaptation of Japanese mental health wisdom.
My introduction to Constructive Living. This is a must read for a society obsessed with head truths at the expense of somatic reality. Perhaps the most practical set of exercises to stop dreaming a life and to begin actually living one.
Not a bad refresher on the principles of the constructive living particular approach, but I wouldn't recommend for someone coming fresh into the topic - this book just felt lighter on practical tips than the other book I read from this author ("Water Bears No Scars") and more for people already in the know. There was a section on how constructive living therapists are trained, for instance, which wasn't all that useful except for the general reader, and there were a few other sections that seemed a bit repetitious, as they were essays drawn from elsewhere.
