I give this book a 4 star rating. It is intended for ages 6 and up. No more teasing is about a young girl who is constantly being taunted and teased by this young boy, the class bully. She goes home everyday wondering how can she and what can she do to make the teasing stop. One day she got tired of being teased and instead of feeding into the bully, reacting, and responding she just decides to ignore him. There aren't that many pictures in the book, but I think that it is a good book to read to children especially the ones that may be experiencing this type of treatment. It teaches a valuable lesson.
When Roddy Rogers, one of Katie Woo's classmates, teases her, Katie becomes upset and tries to find a way to get him to stop. Strangely enough, once she becomes distracted by other things and doesn't react to his bullying, he stops. Although the book simplifies how to deal with a bully, sometimes ignoring bullying behavior does extinguish it as the bully finds someone else to pick on. It would have been nice to have Roddy's need to pick on someone to be addressed.
