Charlotte is devastated by the events of last spring, and the last thing she wants to do is return to Paranormal Public for her senior year as if nothing has happened. Unfortunately, she doesn't have a choice. As she and her friends fight to find out what happened to their friend, and hope for a bit of normalcy in a paranormal world turned upside down by darkness, Charlotte is forced to confront difficult truths: sometimes blood is stronger than loyalty, the bad guys win, and you have no choice but to lose what you hold most dear.

Elemental Darkness is book eight of the Paranormal Public series by Maddy Edwards.
It's senior year, and that should come with celebration... but it's just not the same without word from Keller. Not to mention that the whole paranormal world has come together in an effort to ostracize and perhaps even kill Charlotte as a stop-gap to their demon troubles. Lisabelle is lost to them, and Sip suffers her sacrifice with little grace. Neither Sip nor Charlotte or even Lough will give up on their friend, but they must hide their loyalty before it gets them hurt.
Charlotte said things would get worse before they got better, and they're definitely worse.
I loved this book! Yes it was hard not having some favourites around but then I was reminded Loyalty. Always. I am questioning one supposedly loyal friend especially after something I suspected in the last book turned out to be true. I just hope that they are reunited and fighting together again in the last book!! I read this entire series in the last 4 days and now I can hardly bear the wait for the final book!!
now i am hooked. This was such a great, easy and creative book. i was hooked after the first page.
The characters were easy to fall in love with and follow, along with the story. the author made the mental visions so easy and vivid of the surroundings and the characters actions felt so real.
i would highly recommend this author and this book.
