˃˃˃ Series are soldiers with supernatural abilities granted by an archangel. They police demon activity that threatens humankind. Before becoming Primani, all were superior warriors (Celts, Huns, Vikings, etc.) with unique psychic abilities. The series follows them as they cross lines, fall in love, and butcher demons to save the world. Living by a loose code of morals, they’re more mercenaries than angels, prone to violence, vengeance, and in the end, sometimes, heartbreakingly pure love. The first three books follow Mica’s transformation from human to immortal after she becomes entangled in the Primani world. Each subsequent book focuses on the unique story of each Primani as they battle both Hell and their own inner demons. Often dark, funny, full of twists, and steamy passion, the Primani series crosses the lines of paranormal romance, metaphysical fantasy, and occult suspense.
Laurie Olerich is the author of the new Primani series. Part romance, part paranormal, part adventure...Three things she can’t live without! Laurie spent most of her life in the Northeastern United States and in Western Europe. She now lives in San Antonio, Texas, with her son and Dalmatian duo, Domino and Rambo. Desperate to escape the heat, she lives vicariously through Mica and her Primani by setting their adventures in the mountain coolness of New England and the rainy days of London. Before throwing caution to the wind and diving into a writing career, Laurie dedicated 20 years to her country by serving in the United States Air Force. Much of her time was spent around men with guns and cool toys...this explains her obsession with both.
I can't even handle how much this book moved me!!! I have gone from powerlaughing, to sitting on the edge of my seat to crying like a crazy person! Just a brilliant read!!! Mica, oh sweet Mica, I just adore her she is so strong and so smart and her love for the boys is wonderful - in my opinion she should marry them all <3. Killian has had my heart since the first book and when he and Mica finally got together - each time - my heart just melted. Sean ... oh Sean, I do adore him but he has pissed me off repeatedly in this one. His stubborn nature and damn pride have caused him to be a dick at times, but I know in his heart he is still sweet sexy Sean ... he just needs to realize this too! And my sweet Dec ... needless to say this man has caused me many tears and I absolutely love him to pieces. I sincerely hope that there will be a way for him to return ... if I don't believe that I don't think I can bare it!! And now, I will wipe away my tears - again - grab my box of kleenex and start book 3. Such a brilliant series I will be recommending this one to EVERYONE!!!

Another great book! This series is great! In this book, Mica has major choices! Just when you think that one thing is going to happen, it doesn't. Then you get bummed, just to get more excited that something better happens. Things get cleared up from the first book Primani, and all starts to fall in to place. Laurie has writen a story that grabs you, holds you and makes you want more!
Another great read I can't put these books down! Mica! Who would have thought It, I love watching her powers evolve I can't help thinking though that Sean seems To get the short end of the stick every time! I have to continue reading on because I know he will come into his own soon and get the girl. Onto the next book please.
Book #2 in the series, and the story just keeps getting better! Rollercoaster of emotion! I love the action and suspense! Cried a little, the characters and scene come to life! Excellent series!
I love and hate this book. I just didn't expect a love triangle. Lots of tragedy and heartache. I'm trying to find a happy not and I just can't. I also can't leave things like they are so I will immediately read the next one and hope that things get better.
I must admit I haven't read the first book of this series, "Primani". I actually thought it was a stand alone and I was wrong. It definitely is the continuation of the first series so it was confusing for me at first. But I will definitely read Primani to understand it better.
Assuming this second installment, began a year after Sean supposedly died. Mica had nightmares and experienced pain and sorrow because for her Sean was her soul mate. During that time, Killian became her protector and they both fell in love with each other. Killian also helped with Mica's training when her powers were evolving. Although Sean returned because Mica was able to find him with the help of Killian and Dec. At Sean's return, Killian erased Mica's memories of their love for each other in order to not hurt and betray Sean. As the story goes, Mica's team must still find and defeat the demon that is wrecking havoc but amidst the danger there are more secrets to be discovered one that can also be their downfall.
I couldn't connect to Mica at the beginning because I found her too reckless, nosy, and headstrong which only gets her into more trouble which in turns becomes annoying. Usually, all the misshapen she experienced is in a way her fault which gets annoying. I think the part I hated the most was when she had a last goodbye relationship with Killian when Sean returned. I also agree that they both made the wrong choice especially Killian with regards to erasing the memories of Mica.
Although I do love the friendship between these four characters and that despite their differences and falling outs they still support each other. The love triangle between Mica, Sean, and Killian is really complicated and deep. It was hard for me to choose who I want Mica to end up with but for me Seth is 1% above Killian. Only 1% because it is difficult choosing between Sean and Killian but it would probably be different for you if you finished reading near the ending of the story. Killian does deserve his own happy ending as well. I think I love Dec most of all. He's like the mix of all three plus he acts the mediator although I do sympathize him because he usually suffers the most when their team fights.
There should be a warning about tragedy in this book. It became an emotional ride for me especially the ending. I can't wait to for the next book to come out or more likely have it available. The ending is definitely a cliffhanger.
I was given an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review.
I have to say that this serie is so confusing to me....i don't enoy that its overlengthy but at the same time its has something special that it just can't let you stop reading until you are done.
In this second book there are so many things happening that at some point you roll your eyes and say "ohhh come on" and in the other hand you're like "ohhhh myyyy goooood i tottally had never seen this coming!"
There are parts in the book were you don't understand whats going on and there are many wholes in the story and there are still many things that are not explained .
I truly can't figure out how this is going to go and i can't wait to read more and see how this story will end for all of them.
Ms. Olerich has done it again! She has hit it out of the park with the continuing saga of the Primani warriors.
This is such an amazing series! If you haven't read it, start now! Mica and Killian's story is so moving. But even though this is a romance, it's also very much action packed, full of danger, twists and turns. The author takes you on a wild ride! I can't decide which book in the series is my favorite....they all are!
Wow! I couldn't put this book down. The story in this book progressed very well. It was suspenseful and sexy. I love the relationship that develops between Mica and Killian and I can't wait to see what happens in the next book between Mica and Sean.

Another great story in book 2 of the series. This is one suspense filled story. I enjoyed reading Killian and Mica's story. Primani Killian Leahy must keep Mica safe while training her powers. Mica is one determined women who wants a place on the immortal ops team. I enjoyed reading about her growth as a person as well as her powers. Will Killian's secret be reveled? Will they be able to stop the shadow enemies from winning? I give this book 5 stars. "I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy without pressure to do so".
I absolutely hated the love triangle. Maybe I just don't like Killian. I wonder how I would've felt if Mica has fallen for Dec instead. I adore Sean and I just don't understand why the need for such an amazing soul mate, to then turn around and give him secrets. Also she fell for Killian way too quickly and personally it just was ALL OVER THE PLACE.
now i am hooked. This was such a great, easy and creative book. i was hooked after the first page.
The characters were easy to fall in love with and follow, along with the story. the author made the mental visions so easy and vivid of the surroundings and the characters actions felt so real.
i would highly recommend this author and this book.
Good read, even though there were scenes that made no sense for the storyline and a bit predictable in the beginning I have to admit the second half of the book was explosive and devastating. Heart broken now but on to the next book.
This is the 2nd book in the Primani series and it was every bit as good as the first. I immediately started the next one. Love the characters and the storyline. Highly recommend!
I received a free copy of the book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
This is the second book in the series and the 'old sequels are never as good as the first' is just not true for this series, it just keeps getting better. I would recommend reading them in order though so you can understand everything a little easier.
Full of action and suspense it will keep you wanting more, definitely a series to read!
The second book in the Primani Series!! I thought the first book was good!! The second was even better!! The emotions in this book had me laughing out loud one minute and ugly crying the next. Mica's journey is far from over. After being captured and tortured she finally is reunited with Sean and her family. Killian brings her to his safe haven and brings Mica into his world of High Priest magic. He makes a spell on her to forever protect her by joining their blood. But in this magical haven their feelings magnify and they lose themselves in each other. Out of guilt Killian erases her mind if the memories they made there. She is content with her Primani family her hot hunky boyfriend Sean. What else can she wish for?
Christmas at her parents house turns into a proposal from Sean that she readily accepts! She loves him to death. Nothing can keep them apart. Or can it? Her relationship with Killian grows stronger and more inappropriate. She finally finds out that Killian has modified her memories and that they have been intimate many times. This sends Sean into and angry spiral and disappears for a while as does Dec. The journey is far from over for this threesome.

I received this book for free from Goodreads first reads to review.
I thought this book could be read as a stand alone but it was part of a series, so I had some catching up to do for a while. Mica and her friends are grieving but they have no time to rest with lives to protect. I had trouble catching up on this novel and will probably need to go back and read the first book to appreciate it better. I didn't care for Mica's character or her personality. I understood that she was grieving her lost love, but it the grieving wasn't enough really for a soulmate before she fell for another. To be fair, I also hated the twist with Killian then erasing that love for her happiness once Sean(her soulmate) returned. I generally don't like when memories are ever erased in novels and felt like it was doing the characters a huge disservice and would have been more interesting watching them all work through everything.
This is the second book of the Primiani Series, I would recommend that you read them in order so that you have a full understand of the story and wonderful characters. This book does keep you on the edge of your seat, cause there always surprise that comes up that was not expecting to happen. This is a book that you can’t put down until the end. Mica has a long road ahead of her, getting past the abuse she went through when she was captured. When Killian tries to use magic to protect her from further harm, will this destroy things between her lover and Mica. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book…. Highly recommend this book and the series, it is a must read. How would you describe the plot of this book? some twist Which of these words best describes the mood? Suspenseful How would you describe the pace? steady How would you describe the characters? developed * I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review *

ohhhh myyy! Now here is an author I will follow forever. I read, I laughed, I cried, I cheered and I myself wanted to smack a character- thankfully Mica did!
Laurie Olerich pulled me into this story and, oh my, what a roller coaster of emotions that I went through- along with Mica the heroine. Strong characters, a plot that had me on my seat without me realizing I was reading. These characters live and breathe in my minds eye and I MUST have the next book to continue the journey. How will it end? Will it end? Who will be left standing? Will good defeat evil? Which man will Mica choose. Will she have a choice? Personally I am rooting for Killian. This book series would make an excellent tv series or movie! Just saying. :)
This book is even better than the first with all the surprises and suspense that is building around Mica and her new family. Mica is learning more about her powers and they are continuing to surprise her and the others. She has to deal with so much pain and is incredibly strong to keep going and try to work to battle the demons who threaten humanity.
I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with continuing the journey. I love the characters and the action keeps you on your toes. You are never really sure what to expect. The author does an excellent job of balancing the action and the relationships.
I can't wait to read part three and see where it goes next. I received a copy in return for a honest review.
This is the second book in this series about a special league of angels who fight demons. This book frustrated me at times, in much the same way as real life does. The central characters are not without flaws. They love each other and they hurt each other but, the pain is never intentional. The angst between characters is written with deep emotion. It seems like every time you think everything will be all right, there is more drama the Primari and Mica must handle and they do so with genuineness and humor.
Call the Lightning is the 2nd book in the Primani series and it is as great as the first one. This book picked up where the first one left off and carried this reader right back into the story. I love the way I thought things would be going and then wham! a surprise would pop up and turn the story in another direction. This book is very well written and I can't wait to read the rest of this series. I volunteered to read this book and leave an honest review.
Really loving this series! Book one, Primani was a good start, but man Call The Lighting is even better. So much more intrigue, excitement, action, emotional turmoil and heartache. Laurie Olerich is a very talented writer and pulls you into her story so easily. You can't help but fall in love with the characters and feel connected to them. Can't wait to read book three, Stone Angels!
OMG! This series has me entranced and I am only in book 2.... I am on my way to get book 3 and I am sitting on the edge of my seat wondering what is coming next...hoping for a good outcome. The characters are wonderful....I didn't want to put this book down...
It's a good thing book characters can't hear me . I absolutely loved this book and hated it all at the same time. I laughed and I cried, but I couldn't put it down and I can't wait to read book 3. It would be fabulous if someone came back and two of her men became a trifecta with her. This is a must read
CALL THE LIGHTNING (PRIMANI BOOK 2) By Laurie Olerich This 2nd book of the Primani is better than the 1st and I liked it a lot. This book has a solid story line, lots of angst, great characters, action, and it has a continuous flow from the 1st book. I stay up way too late reading these books! I loved this one! Laurie Olerich knows how to spin a great story!!!
Wonderful story, unexpected events. This was better than the first. Right now I am a little well maybe a lot irritated with the Mica. How can she be so easily swayed. Seems like a case of love the one you are with at the moment.
