Fiendish thingies abound in this issue! Magdalena dies almost right away. Glamour, the death-like memory collector kills her. Then Beatrice kills herself and Glamour, thus turning herself in to a memory collector and collecting the memories of Glamour, including Magdalena's. Beatrice and Edith hash over some moral dilemmas, but there is no way Edith is just going to forsake one of her "sisters," and possibly Mother as well.

Beatrice convinces Edith to take her to Mother where she might be able to give vital information that might save be very useful ... or she might wig out and try to kill everyone. Who knows. What we do know is whatever was controlling Glamour is nooooot very happy right now, and they are after Edith and Beatrice. Apparently, there is only one way to defeat it ... Beatrice has been implanted with the information by a "neutral party."

I dunno about this, man. It looks like this creature has turned Edith into some kind of angel. That last panel was truly stunning. I would like a reprint of just that panel for my wall. The art and story continue to be wonderful. And the little shorts at the end of the book are also entertaining. I definitely want more from Menton3.

There's only one part left to this story. Issue two was the land of exposition. Now let's hit the climax and conclude this mother.

I don't know what is the matter with me but since I've been stuck in my little rut I just kind of shut down. This was amazing. That last panel. Dear lord god I will not spoil but ... It was magnificent. You must check this book out. It is absolutely stunning.
