Alice Newton doesn't live the college life she'd expected or hoped for. She's just lost yet another job, her college workload is mounting, and she's about to find herself homeless because she can't pay her rent. It's all in marked contrast to her best friend Tess, and seemingly everyone else on campus, whose parents can pay for everything. Alice, unfortunately, doesn't have that luxury.
Kyle Logan runs a club, a club offering very specific services. One of his best 'workers', Jenny, has just run out on a client, leaving Kyle on the hunt to track her down. The path leads him to Jenny's empty dorm room, a dorm she vanished from during the night, much to her room-mates confusion. That room-mate just happens to be Alice Newton.
When Kyle comes knocking, the seeds for a mutually beneficial relationship are sewn. And, just as a bonus, Kyle is just about the most delectable man Alice has ever laid eyes on. Those eyes, that square jaw, those dimpled cheeks. He's irresistible.
The question Alice needs to ask herself is: how much is she willing to risk to build the life she's always dreamed of, and is Kyle really all he seems?
The answers, and the results that lead from them, might just change her life forever, for better, or for worse. Genre: New Adult Romance/College Romance
(For adults only 18+ Includes sex, foul language, and themes unsuitable for younger readers)
this is the worst, most stupidest book I have read in my life! and trust me I have read a lot of bad crap but there's not one single good thing, everything is terrible the characters, the story, the writing.
the girl had no survival skills I tell ya! she's so stupid, the writer tried to portrayed her as this strong girl but no she was a judgemental hypocrite. the guy.. ugh it does even make sense the decision he makes in the end, he knows the girl for like 2 minutes and they just fuck! Ive never read that they talked, they had no connection at all beyond the fact the they were both ridiculously hot (yeah fucking right), they don't know each other so how come he is so in love and willing to risk so much?? nop not buying it. the ending feels rushed and unfinished. I so disappointed in myself for reading this.
Kyle Logan is not exactly an alpha Hero, but he's arrogant enough to be annoying. His attitude's kind of weird to me, not to mention Alice's behavior. I rolled my eyes a lot while reading this book.
Kyle wants Alice to work for him yet he won't let other man touches her. Alice refuse to 'bend' at his command but she keeps looking for him. I was like get a grip girl!
There are so many things that left unfinished. I'm not even happy with the ending because I think the closure's not enough. This book's confusing and I'm not sure what to feel. Sure I enjoyed it but really?
I really thought this started off well and had real potential but then it felt like it didn't really go any further for me. Alice seemed to be tough and to be able to hold her own but then she had a weakness about her that didn't make sense to me. Kyle was likeable enough when he finally decided to stick up for himself and Alice. Unfortunately he had to make a stand towards his father that was extreme but necessary.
The story in and of itself is not bad. The writing on the other hand needs some work. It has terminology that just does not make sense in this plot. A lot of the writing seems to mix american language and then maybe some from england I am guessing. As far as realistic stories go, this is probably not one of them. I guess it could happen but, I really am doubtful.
I would like to know what happens in the other Logan Brother stories but I am not sure I want to spend my time on this.
The story was good and I like the characters but damn, the editing was pathetic. Anyone can do spellcheck but this was much worse. Secondly, the author is obviously a brit because the use of slang and english terms were very distracting when she/he meant to have a story plot about americans living in Montana.
it was an ok book.. not as bad as some of the reviews... I took a chance after reading the review and I'm glad I did ... I don't think there was enough chemistry and emotions but it was a good read
