Discovering America: For 40 Days

For months we researched national parks and monuments, state and local parks and anything that looked interesting along our planned route. This year we were headed to Watkins Glen State Park in New York, Niagara Falls, across the U.S. to Yellowstone, North Cascades National Park, Olympic National Park then back through Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Alabama and back to Florida with some amazing places in between. The one thing we did not account for were the several breakdowns, problems with the electrical system, a flat tire that had to be replaced, and a day layover in Squim, Washington.
