Ex-convict turned preacher. Bad girl with a messy past. He's tasked with helping her find her way. She's lost in grief and self-doubt. Together they begin something innocent... Until it's not. His freedom is at risk. Her heart won't survive another break. All rational thinking says they should stay away from each other. But neither are very good at following the rules. A deep, dark craving. An overwhelming need. A burn much hotter than any hell they could ever be condemned to. They have much to be forgiven for... Please note this is the same story as Easton and a part of the Taboo Treats (but with a different cover, blurb, and original banned version of the story)

This novella has been re-published under a different name, you can buy it HERE

➦3.5 stars

Things you need to know:

Besides the whole forbidden priest relationship there's also the whole issue of 20+ years age gap. She's 17 so there's underage sex happening here, if you're not into that kind of thing then may be it's not for you. This is definitely not a read that's you'd call

➦But if that floats your boat, then you'll likely to enjoy this smuttiness. It was my third priest book this month and I was surprised how good it was considering it's length. It's short and naughty.

➦Even though the blurb does state it's insta-love, the relationship between the main characters develops gradually from friends to lovers. So don't expect dirty sex on the altar on page 1 lol. That's all. /end another spectacular review

Thank you to the gorgeous Ms Cassandra for the Buddy read!

This is by far the most beautiful of the taboo treats that I’ve read. Yeah it’s steamy as all get out but it’s also so emotionally riveting.

I would’ve given this one five stars except I felt the relationship between Easton and Lacy didn’t build enough. She came into counseling like a pouty teenager and I thought she cracked rather easily for someone who isn’t supposed to want help. And then the growth from that of preacher/parishioner to full fledged lovers happened just like that!

Easton’s background is interesting, I like that he found his religion in prison rather than his bible thumping parents. His mentor, Tom Cat sounds like a good egg who got a shit hand in life.

This story is basically one bad choice after another. And even though it should be wrong, I can’t help but feeling their interactions are overwhelmingly heartwarming.

For some reason in my mind, it makes sense that a preacher would enjoy The Walking Dead.

I know everyone loves Priest by Sierra Simone and yes I thought it was super steamy and deviant, 2 of my favorite things. But this gives me that plus adorable and sweet and loving. This is everything I want in a taboo churchy type romance.

Easton’s mom is so pushy so of course I like her. In fact the relationship she builds with both of his parents is adorably sweet.

It was a delightfully emotional rollercoaster with a super cute ending. How could I ask for more?

"She fills up parts of me that were empty.
She makes me sin when I’ve vowed not to."

Well, it was another of Ms. Webster’s story that I really enjoyed and liked it! I like her writing! This one was a novella so I finished it quickly and I wanted more! But it wasn’t my main problem. I’m not a Christian but I think of a church as a sacred place so I liked both characters especially Easton. There is a huge age gap (twenty years and no I didn’t have any problem with it!). The story is told in dual POV, 1st person. It’s a stand-alone novella. Well-written and fast-paced. Overall, I really liked it and I hope you enjoy it too!

"God will forgive us..."

The story moves very quickly as it is a novella. I did like the addition of the Johnson family and the church atmosphere which felt very real. I liked the hero though struggled a bit in his attraction beyond the physical to the heroine as to me she was just too young for him. The acceptance was pretty immediate from both family's but the story was solid enough that it does give way if the author wanted to follow our heroine's mother cougar tale next.

This book was originally published as "Preach" but then Amazon took it down because of the content... well naturally that made me HAVE to read it!!! So as soon as the author put it up again under a different name; I one clicked that puppy immediately!!!!

"Easton" is a preacher who has turned his life around after being incarcerated for ten years. What he hadn't anticipated was having a 17 year old girl walk into his church with temptation written all over her! This story isn't for everybody, it pushes the envelope believe me. So if you're not the type of reader that can overlook some taboo subject, then I suggest giving this a pass!

Father, forgive me for reading this book!
Amen!

Well, I really enjoyed this book till the 7th chapter. The only thing that bothered me - their age difference - she was 17 and he was 38. But it was played well and I believed in their connection.

But then some things happened and the ending was too rushed. Rape attempt (not the H!), drama with her ex and and and...

The epilogue was sweet, but what happens with her mother and the young boy? Will they have a story?

Review @ Midnight Romance

K Webster nearly gave me heart attack with this new release. We all know the book is a part of taboo treats so I had high expectation. I really, really liked Bad Bad Bad because it was quick and superrr dirty.

description

Easton was an ex-convict turned preacher. His crime in the past because of his own action but he redeemed himself. Now, he's a preacher who is in lust with a troubled teenager, Lacey. She came to him for some revelation to let go her messy past. Together, they have chemistry but Easton tried his best to avoid this vixen.
My mind isn’t pure right now. There’s a tugging in my heart that I’m unfamiliar with. That, coupled with the guilt, has my mind spinning with every reason why having her here is wrong.

Well, the story really intrigued me. There's several book with this theme, so nothing's new. But, I really enjoyed the prologue. Easton and his friends are really funny with their banter. Easton also sincere with his job as a preacher. I kinda liked Easton at first before he met Lacey.
Is God tempting me to see how I’ll handle the situation?
I’m strong.
If I could survive a decade behind bars, I can sure as hell survive this.

Lacey is just an okay girl with bad judgement for men. She fell with wrong guy several times before Easton. The worst thing happened to her is Lacey lost her unborn child and it wrecked her. Easton became her sanctuary. She's getting better because of him. I think Lacey is lack of affection from father figure and that's why some older men became her 'escape'. Luckily, Easton isn't a bad guy.

I wouldn't say this one has insta-love because they're building the chemistry for months. I know this is kinda wrong to lusting after underage girl. Lacey isn't eighteen yet when they started to fooling around. But there's the taboo effect of the story. Beside I liked the sex scenes, Easton was a bit awkward with the dirty talk, but he's really sexy and sweet. Nothing is OTT with the sex.

description

Aside their chemistry, I couldn't feel their love. Yes, they're very passionate couple but it was too rushed for being together forever. However, I dislike the dramas. Lacey's ex haunted her back many times. Also some people finally found their secret relationship because Easton's uncontrollable lust. It was totally predictable. Overall, it was a quick and steamy read. Not really WOW me but decent enough without offense some religious matter.

This is the first story of K. Webster's Taboo Treats, all the stories are standalone, but we met almost all the characters in this one, since the action is in a small town.
They can be read an any order, or so they say, but I can't agree to that, or that they are standalone.
My reading order:
Bad Bad Bad
Coach Long
Ex-Rated Attraction
Malfeasance/Judge Rowe
Crybaby
Mr. Blakely
Renner's Rules
Dane
Preach/Easton
Lawn Boys
The Glue
Enzo
Red Hot Winter
Dr. Dan

This is an age gap story, I admit I'm not the biggest fan.

Easton is a pastor, ex-convict and Lacy, a 17 years old girl that lost her professor's baby.
There's an insta chemistry between the two of them.
Easton has to fight against what's happening between them.

Lacy won't give up, she likes older men.
It's a steamy, sexy, sweet story with HEA.
Sex scenes in the church and some funny comments and situations.
A light and quick reading.

This book was published under another title called "Preach" but for some reasons Webster had to edit out some parts.I like this story but it somehow lacked that intensity i expect from Webster`s stories. This book have all the great sex it needed, but great sex-scenes is not enough if the overall emotional aspects to the story aren`t delivered 100%.There is something about this author`s heroines that grate on my nerves.I have never met one i even remotely like and Lacy Greenwood was one that made my head hurt. She may have been a broken heroine..but ahhh how dumb and impulsive she was.She knew how strongly Easton McAvoy wanted to respect his faith in God and to not break any rules, even if she felt anything remotely like guilt about being his temptation it was not enough for her to stop seducing him.She had been through so much because of her disgusting ex and lost a child and still all she could think of was going to bed with Easton.Ughhhh.Lacy is a character that never made any sense and i couldn`t like her at all.

-Wickedly intense chemistry
-Completely taboo: ex-con turned preacher vs teenage high schooler
-Older man/younger woman: 38/17
-Not completely safe: h attacked by two boys, but saved in time
-Obsessive, possessive alpha
-great epilogue with hints to h's moms story to come that involves a younger man
-extra, short book at the end that was just as enjoyable to read.

I avoided the blurb for this one... And imagine my surprised when this book is actually about a Pastor and a troubled teenager.

Like, I was scandalized. My poor heart almost couldn't take it. Emphasized on almost.

But their love story was really cute. It's a wholesome story and except for the fact that the heroine was underage most of the book, it was pretty sweet.

Great taboo read! I particularly enjoyed the beginning of the story. The angst and forbidden nature of the story were great draws. I thought it would be a bit raunchier, but overall this was a very solid erotic taboo novel. Recommended...if you enjoy this sort of thing.

Short, smutty, and taboo

If you're looking for something short and taboo then this is it. In the first story it's a reformed convict who is now a preacher, and a teenage girl who has already had a few bad relationships with older men! But maybe preacher is the older man for her? Hmm.

If you've read Bad Bad Bad, you will know some of the characters in this one. This a smutty little interconnected taboo world. K Webster is going to have to fill us in on where this town is located! Haha!

Can't wait to see what's next. Maybe a certain hot yard and pool boy?

I would give K. Webster a round of applause but my hand is a little busy right now.

Preach is another taboo tale from Webster that is filthy and endearing all at the same time!

After spending a decade in prison, Easton rebuilt his life through faith. While he may enjoy his role as a preacher, his heart lies in the counseling he offers to those who lose their way. When Lacy enters his office, he knows her story, but he never expected the instant spark he felt.

Torn between is oath to God and his desire for Lacy, Easton finds himself giving into temptation... over and over and over again.

OMG. I loved this story. I loved the May-December aspect to their relationship #NotQuiteLegal #HotOlderGuy #WetPanties I can’t wait for more of these fuck hot little reads!

The sexual tension was off the charts and although the sex was hawt, the bits of foreplay we get early on was amazing. I swear sometimes that can be the best part. Easton’s struggle between his head, heart and dick was a joy to experience!

I hope Lacy’s mom is up next – she needs to ride off to her HEA in style... on that studs dick.

I'd first seen Preach/Easton, under a friend's posting or review. She had commented this short Novella had been pulled from Amazon. Me being who I am and hating censorship had to go and get it. Compared to other literary works Preach/Easton is mild, tamer. Sure there's some darkness and violence but nothing over the top extreme. I'm not gonna get bent out of shape reading jiggy scenes taking place inside a church when during my teenage years I remember guys openly bragging about doing that or girls gossiping. Final impression: this short was steady in storyline, romance and plot twists. Happy reading, enjoy!

I loved this book! Easton ticked all the boxes for me. It was taboo and sweet and wonderful. It had a bit of drama and a tad of despair. It had love and loyalty. One of my favorite things about this book was the family aspect; both Easton's family and Lacy's family. I also like Lacy's back story and felt it was extremely believable that she was still struggling with one part of it. I liked that she didn't sweep that under the rug and I liked what she did to deal with it. I would have liked maybe a bit more of Easton's back story because I liked his character so much but their was plenty provided to make this story successful. I'm just being greedy.
Overall, I enjoyed Eastom quite a bit and I'm glad to have read it. I didn't want to put it down. I would recommend this book to those who enjoy taboo relationships with age gaps, and positions of power/influence. I felt it was fairly tame when comparing with many of the other books I've read (although I do enjoy exceptionally taboo as well as super dark so my meter may be skewed just a lot) so while it's still a great taboo story, I think this is a good way to ease into the taboo genre for those looking to get their feet wet. It is also a quick read with insta-love so expect that as well.

“You’re worth whatever consequences come after this. Worth straying from my calling.” I bite her lip again. “You’re mine, Lace. Not that kid from church. Not the asshole who hurt you. Mine.”

Taboo (not for me) but easy to read. He is close to 40 and she is only 17, he is a preacher and sweet but possessive. she is just a broken girl but cute n vixen. She had a very sad and abusive past, he is too, and the sparks and other hot things. And hea.
God, it's hot, thrust me.

Insta-love, insta-lust but not happening about two months. Just spending time like dating and trying to ignore the urge. LOL

And that "making her first coffee" thing.

AND fuck this "... is makes me happy" list. You don't have to break my dark heart.

Just I don't like this things, when they caught doing naughty things in goddamn church. Just leave it there girl, leave it there. Let us enjoy that moment, don't ruin it.

“Now stop holding things in around me. Let them out and let me carry your burdens with you.”

First I gave 3 but I think deserves a little more. 3,5 stars.

God give me strength, forgive my sins, amen.

The age thing actually wasn't my biggest issue with this storyline. I actually like the premise of this book. My issue, is the fact that Easton, kept pushing his luck recklessly with Lacy, all over the church...and he was a PREACHER, in said church! That just rubbed me the wrong way. It also made me worry he was going to get sent back to the "Big House" again-- get fired & loose the trust & forgivenesses he'd gained back from his family & community! AND, Lacey kept pushing him, i.e. dressing scantly and what not--not respecting his position in the church, and what all he could loose. Definitely got in the way of the story, for me. I did enjoy the ending tho!

K.Webster never disappoints me. Just love her writing—it a mystery to me why I waited so long to read this book.

As always a great taboo treat.

The book was originally published as Preach, because of the content the book was banned. Preach is now Easton on K. Webster’s website.

Preach is a smoking hot read; Easton is a sexy, filthy man. Yes, please. Reformed criminal turned pastor.

Lacy, troubled past, dealing with grief, and how she handles it at such a young age showed how mature she is. Both are such great characters to read.

Both fit well together; Preach is an action-packed novella that you just can’t put down.

I didn't mind the age difference, it wasn't done in a daddy/little girl way - just two people that fell in love and stayed together - and had heaps and heaps...and heaps of great, dirty, all consuming sex!!

3.5 stars! Mainly because of bad boy Easton!

This book had me cringing so bad at their age difference. I don't mind older men but a girl barely 18? Thats fucked up!

Easton is an ex con, used to be a good boy till an event changed him. Now, he's back for good and nothing can beat a tattooed preacher ;) smoking hot!

Lacy? Eh I hated her.

“The men are certainly interested in Mom though. I’ve had teachers at my school ask me for her number before. Gross.”

Fall into the trap with the teacher, fooling around as a HS skank and seduced a good preacher guy? Excuse me, but you are gross. Your mom deserves better than a child like you.

The steamy scenes are HOT! HOT! HOT! if you turn off the major age difference and pretend she's legal, then ITS HOT.
Otherwise, it's officially a crime.

“I’m smiling up at him when the door creaks open. Immediately, I bow my head. He starts murmuring a prayer about strength and love. Even after being a very bad boy, he can slip into being one of the good ones at the drop of a hat.
“Amen,” he murmurs and releases my hands.
“Amen.”

Easton deserves better than someone like her.
