I really liked this book. I loved the characters and the writing of this book. It is really cute and fun to read and it was something that I needed for once in awhile. I loved it from the beginning to the end of the book. I was kind of sad to finish this book because it was so cute. I thought it was really well written. I would probably read this book again. I would recommend this book to anyone at any age or someone that is looking for a cute and fun book to read.

I keep finding this series on bag day at various book sales.

While it doesn't have a great deal of depth, it would be good to hand to an 8-12 year old who's into fantasy - probably equally appealing to boys or girls with lots of trolls and ogres and fairies and elves. It's also the only book I can think of that has a henchfairy!

The only warning would be that it's a little violent, with unnamed side characters dropping like flies.

This second book focuses on a minor character from the first book, Ludicra, and her journey to rescue Rollo. As with the first one, the prose is awkward and the infodumping is heavy, but the setting and plot continue to entertain. Several characters from the first book are shown to have hidden depths. The Troll Queen is a good follow up to the first book.

This is the second of three books in the troll trilogy. I liked it a lot, but not quite as much as the first. It wasa little violent, and had just a little crude humor throughout it. But I thought it was a very good sequel to 'the troll king.' I think it'd be cool if they made a movie off of these books sometime.

A fun fantasy series with a sense of humor, especially good for kids grades 3-5. Book Two of the series. Full of adventure and lots of great characters that make kids laugh: trolls and ogres decomposing villains! What more could you ask for?
