Tennessee whiskey must go through a charcoal filtering process, which mellows the whiskey’s character….
Ezra Hightower a truck driver, struggling with depression due to a failed relationship, accidentally embarks on a life-changing journey when he arrives in the charming town of Little Holly Hill. While in a bar drinking away his sorrows, Ezra's path crosses with Kay Kiser, a resilient woman who has also endured her share of heartbreak.
Kay, having experienced a tragic loss that left her broken, found solace and a fresh start in Little Holly Hill. Kay recognizes Ezra's pain. She takes it upon herself to help him find purpose and joy. Together, they embark on an extraordinary adventure that promises to transform their lives forever.
With heartfelt conversations, laughter, risky moments, and honey whiskey, the two find comfort in each other and a friendship is developed. However, when the past starts to become present, and futures come into the play, how will the friendship withstand? Or will more become of the two over a shared glass of whiskey?
My heart broke for Ezra as he dealt with that betrayal! He was ready to give Farrah his all, along with the twins, until she felt it wasn't enough. Stopping in a small town to rest and reset, while on his route, turned his world upside down.
Kay also happened upon Little Holly Hill after experiencing a devastating loss. The town grew on her, as it helped save her when she was deep in despair. She made it her mission to try and help anyone that she encountered that may be in need of a shoulder or listening ear.
Kay was immediately attracted to the stranger who came into her bar with a scowl. She knew that life was tearing him down, and she wanted to be the one to help him. Ezra was not in the mood to socialize at all. Just wanted to enjoy his beers and wallow in his circumstance. However, Kay was not trying to hear that, and eased herself into space. These two quickly found peace in the other, and feelings began to brew in just 48 hours. Sweet story! 👍👍👍
Yes, Ms. Bree you gave us all the hometown feels with this one. Ezra and Kay both needed a new release on life. Ezra was more in dire need than Kay but Kay knew how to aid him. It was great because she had come through her storm already. Her gravitating spirit led her to him. I was so glad when Ezra choose happy. Farah was wrong for how she treated Ezra. I think she thought he was going to take her back because of the kids. He proved her wrong and chose to live his life stress-free. In the end, he still had his kids, and now Kay. Holly Hill was the type of small town you want to reside in. Mama Von was the mother figure to all. And the town enjoyed the simple things in life like a karaoke night with a shot of whiskey. The love that the town encompassed was all Ezra needed to get his life together.

With each addition to the Tennessee Whiskey empire, I realized, I've never tried that brand. The tie-in into the story with the product was intriguing ever more as the rich taste in each story swished in my head. Ezra was a trucker who owned his business, he was drained from the emotional turmoil from the relationship with his ex. When he stopped in small town America, he never expected to meet Kay, and that his life would change from that night forward.
Kay brought Ezra peace and happiness and I loved that he did the same for her. It was sad but intriguing to see the effects of Ezra’s heartbreak, from a man’s perspective. They just fit together, a smooth blend 🙂
Ezra had reached a low point in his life having had to deal with his ex, Farrah. He happens to stop in a small town while out on the road as a truck driver. He ends up in a bar where he meets Kay. He finds just what he needs in Kay. Kay has also gone through a lot and she makes it her mission to help other people going through things in their life. I loved how they both gave each other what they needed and ended up falling in love. Farrah finally tried to act like she had some sense but it was too late and I didn't feel sorry for her at all. I loved Mama Von and her sassiness. They truly went on an emotional journey together and I loved every minute of it.
I Loved loved loved this story! Ezra and Kay were two people who had loved at lost both in different ways and yet they each had the desire to love and be loved. Ezra never imagined that pulling his sixteen wheeler of in the small town of Little Holly Hills would change his life forever
Kay ended up in the same town two years prior looking to end her grief over a lost love. Little did she knew that fate had put her on a path to meet a new love
Brew Wright. Good read. This was good to me because it was a place where one could find their place in the world. Kay and Ezra were lost souls that found peace in a place that was full of love, guidance and life lessons. I loved Mama Von, she was truly a grandma or a wish big mama. I was glad to see Ezra and Kay got to experience some good old whiskey.🤗🤗🤗🤗
I loved Ezra and Kay from the very beginning. This was a beautiful small town short that was sweet, spicy 😏, and edgy, wondering how two days could turn into forever. Ezra was rough in the beginning but when Kay but her charm on him, he couldn’t resist. The story gave me so much in just a few pages. This will surely become a comfort read for me. Great job.
I really enjoyed this story. Kay had experienced something tragic in her life, but didn't let her keep her down. Ezra was stressed trying to take care of his family. Who know a pit stop could your change the rest of your life?
Ezra and Kay are so freaking cute. I love how she is his peace. Kay went through some emotional stuff and still came out on top. Good to see Ezra made the right choice in the end.
Ezra found home when he met Kay. Everything about her made him feel better and relaxed him. Kay fell hard for Ezra and didn't know how to tell him. Luckily, their feelings were mutual. They both craved one another. Awesome read!
This book was good and it held my attention from the very first page. My heart went out to Kay and I love the fact how she turn herself around. I also love me some Ezra, he was everything. The bond that Kay and Ezra had was everything.
Smooth as Tennessee Whiskey! I definitely learned a lot about whiskey and the making of it reading this book. Glad Ezra and Kay got the happy ending and love they deserved
