Its a real scare. And to think I used to have dolls like Sophia and Dean. I'm so relieved I survived that part of my childhood without encountering a doll similar to ""Chukie"". That would be the death of me. That aside, the point of view of the child about the world outside her own and the adult's overview of the child's was just great. It was like a mirror with common difficulties but deep in contrast. And I am amazed of how uncensored it is despite in having a minor as the main. It was cruel and dark and awfully disturbing. I could almost hear that all-too-familiar sfx that they use for cliffhanger, open-ended endings. How chilling. How enticing. Makes me want to stop and continue at the same time. But I see its best you left it like that. I might not have handled it if it continued to the next page. I was ready to scream. Anyways, it really did piqued my interest and kept me all night. (Don't worry, that's a good thing -- I think).
