This book provided me with some basic information this concept. It is written in an easy to read format and provides a baseline of information for those with no prior knowledge of MTHFR.
I am a pharmacist working in a physicians office that serves people with lower incomes. I have brought pharmacokinetics and mthfr testing to the practice and need to continue learning about simple changes for patients at the cellular level versus adding medications that only mask the symptoms and increase the potential for adverse side effects and drug interactions. Clearly written with passion and knowledge, this book enlightens about MTHFR and its relevance to quality of life. One in two people has the genetic changes which affect function of MTHFR in the body. Now I have a better sense of the mechanism but also a better sense of what I can do about it.
MTHFR is a VERY important gene that effects so many different medical issues. Many doctors blow this off because they didn’t learn it in medical school. It is silly to not keep learning. I treated over 400 people with this, and ALL of them got better....I recommend this as an easy to learn basic primer of what MTHFR is and does.
Good general overview of MTHFR, but not much deeper than most web information. From one of the thought leaders on MTHFR related medical issues, I would have hoped for more protocol and differentiation between the main variations. Hopefully, his next publication will dive deeper.

I have an MTHFR polymorphism and I'm learning new things every day. I want to know why I have endometriosis, a chronic illness without any known cure or cause. One day I hope to not spend time planning my life around my symptoms. This book by Dr. Lynch is a truly great starting point for anyone wanting to learn the basics without getting overwhelmed.
Very easy to read and understand with detailed resources. Additional resources are linked. I like the bulleted list of what to do. Very helpful. Sure explains a lot of my life.
Good basic information on MTHFR are presented in this article. It is a quick read with relevant and thought/action provoking information. Just wish the author would remove the use of “I”.
