Adding this rating retrospectively - I read this perhaps more than a decade ago, and have not read it since. But as far as nostalgia will take me, teenage me loved it with every fiber of her being, and I don't wish to ruin that with an adult's critical lens.

Le tengo mucho cariño a esta historia, fue el primer fanfic dramione donde Draco participa activamente en la guerra que leí, sumado a que disfruto mucho leyendo distintas perspectivas del mismo suceso. No recuerdo cuantas veces lo he releído, a pesar de no ser la mejor historia ni tener un buen desarrollo de relación.

It was my first fanfic in a long time. I liked it, tbh i was a bit tired roday ao i feel like i couldnt conpketly focus on everyrhing so that took away some of the experience. I liked their progression tho. Sometimes i did think omg hermoine wtf are doing, like kissing blaise and then malfoy, like make up your mind. I felr pity towards blaise. Also ron? Wth so oatgetic and he didnt even okay a big rol neccerillu. I just thought somtimes there was some unnecessary love drama w ron and hermoine But w draco too. The smut scenes were ig steamy but at rhe samw rime i wish it was longer, like it was detailed but short, like their first time could’ve been more special. And the end too witb hermoine wanting to leave. But i enjoyed the story. Which is why i give it 4 or 4,5 stars

I enjoyed this fic, but,admittedly, it wasn’t the best I ever read.

Fuck Ron, he’s very disgusting in this.

I feel bad for Blaise, but he was a little much sometimes, could have used some more education on consent and personal space.

The Dramione part was fine, but certain aspects were kinda completely ignored (like Draco fully torturing Hermione while she begged to die) and forgotten just because he ended up doing the right thing at the end.

The fact that Mione had no trauma in spite of very much going through horrible stuff also kinda bothered me, because that’s just not normal.

Overall, I truly see everything wrong with this story now that I’ve finished it, but still finished it and really can’t say that I didn’t like reading it (I have pretty low standards).

The first Dramione Fanfic I ever fell in love with...

Draco Malfoy is one of the highest rank Deatheaters and until now he never showed any interest in switching sides, so why does he decide to do it now and why does he want Hermione as a contact?

I love, love, looooove Draco in this fic! ♥
He is such a badass and he's risking his life just for Hermione.
+ we get alot of Blaise (even tho I prefer him to be the sneaky Slytherin we all know and love). I just wish we got alot more of Theo....

It is 101 chapters long and most of them are repetetive since they be rewritten from both Hermione's and Draco's POV's, but it's still worth reading.

This is maybe fourth dramione fanfic in row, where i found same and same mistake. The story plot is great, but honestly , I dont understand this "forced " relathionship between Draco and Hermione. It looks like authors doesn't have any patience, just want them together as soon as possible. It's not believble.

Like here fox example. We know that Draco has some feelings about her, but she doesn't. She hasnt seen him in years, but know that he is Death Eater. But as soon as he kiss her, she is just soooo dumb about it.

Next, he tortured her, she is almost raped, but she doesn't mind let him almost fucked her same night..gross.

This was good. It was entertaining, if a bit long. I couldn’t get over bellatrix being nice, didn’t match my image of her so that was hard for me. Low key I kinda was rooting for Blaise to be honest. Draco was interesting in this one, but he just didn’t change with his secrets at all and I couldn’t get over that, he should’ve opened up a bit if he loved her idk. It was good though, Ron sucked in this. And I liked Harry and naree.

One of the OG Dramione fanfictions that was written a decade or so ago, so don’t expect 2024 writing style. It lacks world-building but it’s a quick and easy read despite the number of pages.

A dramione classic that got me hooked on this trope years ago, and it's no wonder that the general plot line has been copied several times since then. A slow burn but ultimately a really satisfying read, and the characters are generally believable and quite balanced.
