Expert Putting: The science behind the stroke

Rate this book
Expert Putting uses modern science to reveal the best way to putt. It explains how most golfers take the wrong approach to developing a putting stroke, and describes a better, scientific way. Author Chris Riddoch, a county golfer and one of the UK's top sports scientists, explains the key components of an expert putting stroke, and how the right type of practice, combined with the right mental approach, will improve performance.
Expert Putting is a scientific analysis of more than half a century of research into green reading, visualisation, imagery, stroke mechanics, swing thoughts, practice methods, and mental approach. It's the only book to bring this diverse information together, and combine it into a simple, effective putting framework.
This science-based book isn't written to confuse. Like it's highly successful companion book 'The Golf it's easier than you think', Expert Putting is written in a light-hearted, entertaining style, translating complex science into simple language, and describing practical ways of improving any putting stroke. This book is mandatory reading for all golfers, from the complete beginner to the tournament professional.

The best golf book I have ever read.

Easy to understand, with enough reasons to believe in (has science proofs), without too much details that confusing the audience.
