An unexpected gem and an absolute page turner, filled with such emotional pull. I am ever so pleased to have read this book :)

I loved the story but as it happened I downloaded from the library and I had clicked audiobooks by mistake. I carried on with it first time I had done this its not as I imagined I didn't like the voice as it changed for different characters I much prefer to read.

I loved this one, anything to do with WW2 and I'm all over it! I found the ending a bit disappointing though...
