Melissa Collins has always been a book worm. Studying Literature in college ensured that her nose was always stuck in a book. She followed her passion for reading to the most logical career choice: English teacher. Her hope was to share her passion for reading and the escapism of books to her students. Having spent more than a decade in front of a classroom, she can easily say that it’s been a dream.
Her passion for writing didn’t start until more recently. When she was home on maternity leave in early 2012, she read her first romance novel and her head filled with the passion, angst and laughter of the characters who she read about it. It wasn’t long before characters of her own took shape in her mind. Their lives took over Melissa’s brain and The Love Series was born.

I really struggled to finish this. i absolutely loved the first book, reid and maddy were perfect characters in Let Love In.
I only got a little glimpse of the old Reid, as soon as it hit around 40% it was down hill for me after that. I just couldn't emotionally connect. It was too sappy for my liking. If i was a beta reader i would have said that there were too many "i love you's" and i felt like there was alot of repeating going on.
The parts i did love were the small gestures, the gifts, the photos, they were really sweet and some parts did touch my heart, however the plot just fell flat for me, i missed Reid's asshole ways and he was just too pussy whipped. I really do hate giving anything below 2 stars but i have to be honest.

5/5 Sizzling Hearts for Heat!!

Loved this story of growth, forgiveness and acceptance. Both Reid and Maddy were searching for home and family and found in each other. They grew so much in this book and showed the real struggles of being a couple and how love can heal. Sexy love scenes and heartfelt emotions layered this book on every page. I look forward to reading Melanies book and am very happy I found this series.

★★★★★ RADIANT STARS!!!

Alright well I didn't think that I could love a set of characters so freaking much but I do. I fell head over heels with both Maddy and Reid in Let Love In, they were both so broken, so hurt, had so many walls up... and were absolutely perfect for each other. The conclusion of their story in Let Love Stay does not disappoint and it blew all my expectations out of the water.

The story picks up right from where Let Love In left off and Maddy and Reid are well... they each have some decisions to make. Reid has to process where his head is and what he is willing to confront about his past and what he isn't. And Maddy with the accident and her most recent news, again in her life she has some major changes and moves to make. Needless to say things are not easy for them off the start.

"Love is always complicated. You can't expect to hand your soul to someone else without any bumps along the way. Not every relationship survives those dark times,but...I think you two will work it out"

Melissa Collins introduced us to Maddy and Reid when she brought them to life in Let Love In, but in Let Love Stay they come leaping off the pages and solidify themselves in our hearts. Maddy and Reid are quite possibly the realist fictional couple there is, I truly adored this story and everyone in it. The moments of angst countered with pure blissful happiness, the sad tears covered by tears of absolute joy and utter satisfaction. Reid and Maddy apart and getting it together is a wonderful journey but Reid and Maddy as a front, united and slowly walking toward the future, facing their fears, demons, and pasts together and head on was genuinely outstanding and a remarkably written experience.

" photo LLS_zpsee80d125.jpg "

Let Love Stay, this whole series in fact, is absolute perfection. Written flawlessly from start to finish Melissa Collins will have you completely captivated and fully absorbed in her plot and her characters. Sentence by sentence, page by page you will feel what they feel, and be wholeheartedly enveloped into their world until you have reached the last page and the ultimate Happily Ever After. A touching tale of forgiveness, acceptance, strength, and finding your one true love, your soul mate. All told and pieced together effortlessly, the art of a master storyteller.

I have given both books in this series a shining 5 stars, and would recommend them to everyone. I look forward to continuing on the Love Series journey with Melanie in the third book - Let Love Heal, where I'm hoping we'll get plenty more of Momma C, and I'm sure get to revisit with Reid, Maddy and all the other characters we have grown to love. ♥

3 “…I don’t feel chained to my past. I feel freed by my future.” kisses

I am rarely at a loss for words. In fact, I usually have too many. But I feel stuck here. After getting cliffed in Let Love In I was very ready for Maddy and Reid's HEA. I'm an HEA lover, I need that completion and I was looking forward to the HEA that Maddy and Reid deserved. While I did love Maddy and Reid's ending, the road to get there…it just…wasn't what I expected. Let Love Stay picks up right where Let Love In left off, so there is no story overlapping here - and if you haven't read Let Love In...do not proceed because Let Love Stay will not make any sense at all. We've still got the dual POV's from Maddy and Reid, so as sequels, these book fit really well together...they're seamless in that respect and compliment each other very well.

Maddy…my dear sweet Madeline Renee Becker. She’s still this brave resilient girl, wrapped up in a sweet, loveable package that is just trying so freaking hard to do her best. She had to make a decision at the end of Let Love In…a difficult decision. One that she regrets. A lot. But I think I disagree with her – I didn’t at the time obviously…but looking back, I think the time that Maddy and Reid spent apart was crucial for their relationship. I will explain….

‘How on earth can I choose between losing Maddy and facing my past? Right now both choices seem like hell – my hell.’

Reid Connely has been changed…by One. Single. Girl. The one he didn’t see coming, that knocked him off his game, onto his pretty, sweet ass and left him begging for more. I found Reid’s reaction to the way Maddy pushed him away very…frustrating at the time. I wanted him to fight for her. I almost felt like he gave up or maybe just gave in too easily…but once again, thinking back on it…it was necessary for them. They are still young, all of this is overwhelming, this is the first time both of them have ever been in love and in a real relationship – the split was logical and made sense. I do think Maddy had a point in wanting Reid to address the issues he had with his mother, it was important for him, as a character.

“Oh, sweetie, love is always complicated. You can’t expect to hand your soul over to someone else without any bumps along the way. Not every relationship survives those dark times, but I’ve seen the way Reid looks at you – the way you look at him - I think you two will work it out.”

Maddy and Reid were not relationship people before they met each other. So...having that connection and those feelings can and would be a shock. But after they break up and go their separate ways you know and expect for them to learn and grow as they as individuals. I feel like they did that...a little bit...but it was maybe 50% growth and 50% thinking they made a mistake by breaking up and blaming themselves for pushing him away/walking away from her. In the heat of the moment you make decisions - you may question them later but don't use that as a way to back down from what you did or said. Everything they fought over was valid and needed to be resolved. I felt like they did that to a certain extent but it did frustrate me a little when they were more focused on the mistake the made by pushing away/walking away. So instead of being frustrated that they didn’t fight for each other like I was in the first one, I was frustrated that they didn’t use their time to grow while they were separated more…wisely? Not sure if that’s the right word, but you get the picture.

‘“Maddy, please understand me when I say this, I love you.” He squeeze my hand lightly on each of his last three words. “I wish I was smarter. I wish I had more experience in this whole relationship thing. I wish I could make you understand the weight of my words, but please baby, please understand that the words ‘I love you’ don’t even come close to expressing how I feel about you.” His eye contact never wavers; his grip on y hands never loosens.’

The story did surprise me when it focused a lot more on the relationship between Reid and his mother than I thought it would. I liked it because it was very necessary considering it was one of the main reasons that they broke up but at the same time…I wanted Reid and Maddy to hurry up and be together, so I was torn. Craving them together, but liking Reid’s character development. I know...I make no sense...but it's true! And, obviously, I knew they still loved each other and missed each other, but it was a little over the top as a whole in some areas. After they finally got back together, I did get a little bored with the constant “I love you's” - they were tolerable to a point but when it's being said more than once within one page I'm going to roll my eyes a little bit. Something that did surprise me was the sex! I liked the sex scenes in LLI but the hot factor was kicked up a notch in LLS - like Reid turns into a bit of a Dom, there is a little more kink and the sex scenes just seem to be more...detailed, more erotic - I liked it, it just surprised me. The kink/Dom thing especially. I could see that possibility in Reid but I just really didn’t expect it to actually happen.

‘Pulling back from me, she looks up into my eyes and smiles brightly. God I love her. Everything about her, about us, feels so surreal and unlikely. I’ll never be able to understand how two people – once so broken and guarded, have been able to find the love and compassion that they never thought they deserved.’

Don’t get me wrong, I did like Maddy and Reid’s ending, but after the cliff, I had very high expectations, so it’s almost my own fault a little bit. It surprised me in ways I wasn’t expecting and took a few different approaches that caught me off guard, but overall their HEA was great. I soooo can’t wait for Mel’s story - big time! There are a lot of open questions in regards to her and Bryan...I need answers and I think that Mel and Bryan's story might be better than Reid and Maddy's! :-)

This is the second half of Maddy & Reid's love story and I listened to the audio version..

Things were up in the air at the end of the first book to be honest most of the issues these two have through this series is just bad communication and assumptions they both make. They are young so I suppose that is just something that comes with maturity.

Reid revisits his past and was he finds devastates him all over again. However, as painful as it is, he needs to do this so he can move forward and put it all behind him.

Reid and Maddy navigate their way through the changes in their relationship and really grow up a lot. I was happy with how things turned out in the end so I will carry on listening to the series in audio.

Argh, I needed to read this book immediately after the cliffy ending of Let Love In, so I did what any normal (read: completely book-obsessed) person would do. I opened book two immediately and went to town.

Things didn't end so well in her relationship with Reid, and now Maddy faces the possibility of a future alone. With a big life change coming, she has to face up to her mistakes and decide if she can forgive Reid for his. She let him into her heart once and his love consumed and healed her....can she let him in again?

Wow! Melissa Collins knows how to write a sexy as f*ck story.... And Let Love Stay was most definitely that. Reid upped the dirty-talkin' tension and it made me squirm and swoon. But this book was about more than just the sex. I loved that Maddy and Reid were both forced to own up to their decisions, and I was, in particular, extremely pleased with the storyline involving Reid's Mom.

There was a lot of frowning from this reviewer as I waited for this perfect couple to sort themselves out and, I have to say, the wait was completely worth it. The chemistry was sizzling, the conversations and mistakes all to real and the emotions raw and spot on.

Let Love Stay most definitely affected me. I cried for Reid and Maddy, and I felt at times that my poor heart wouldn't handle it. But it did, and I was rewarded with a sweet, hard-earned HEA and the promise of more from this wonderful series. And luckily for me, I can dive right in once again!

Let Love Stay is the second book in the Love series. It is NOT a standalone book. No cliffhanger. ~ Beth, 4.5 stars

***I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review ***

After being left frustrated and wanting more at the end of Let Love In I was looking forward and couldn’t wait to start reading Let love Stay the conclusion to Maddy and Reid’s story.

Let Love Stay picks up right where Let Love In ended, Maddy has told Reid she is pregnant, Reid is scared, and doesn’t react the way Maddy would have hoped, and after a heated argument in which Maddy tell Reid some things that he doesn’t want to hear, and both say things that really don’t mean Reid leaves and Maddy returns home to Momma C. Both soon realize that they have made a mistake; they both regret some of the things that were said in the heat of the moment.

"Love is always complicated. You can't expect to hand your soul to someone else without any bumps along the way. Not every relationship survives those dark times, but...I think you two will work it out"~ Mamma C

The story is told again from both Maddy and Reid’s point of view, which as you know I love as I get to see both sides of the story, and feel the emotions of both characters. As much as I love both Maddy and Reid I will say for the first part of the book, they really did frustrate me, and all I want to do banged their heads together, both were thinking and feeling the same thing, but both were too stubborn to make the first move. I was concerned that this was going to be the way of the whole story, but it wasn’t Maddy and Reid both soon came to their senses.

"It hits me like a ton of bricks. I'll not lose Maddy to my past. I will not let my demons ruin a future with my angel."~ Reid

"What the fuck is wrong with me that I told him he doesn't love me?"..."What a fucking mess and there's really no one to blame but myself"~ Maddy

This for me is where I really started to enjoy the storyline as it was much more about how Maddy and Reid work to face their issues, overcome their problems, their struggles, how they make decisions and figure out what they really want, and it is by no means an easy road.

“I’m not foolish enough to think that things will always be easy, that we’ll always be perfect. We’ve still got mountains to climb, college to graduate, jobs to work. But as we bask in the light of the rising sun together, I know that Reid will always be my perfectly imperfect happily ever after.”~ Maddy

"You've got me baby. Forever. I'm all yours."~ Reid

“We understand each other; we understand that there’s no need for words right now. The only thing that’s needed now is love and we’ve got that in spades”~ Maddy

My heart went out to Reid as he suffered a lot during this book when he finally faces his demons confronted his past; it was interesting to learn more about his parents and his brother Shane.

Loved the supporting characters old ones like Momma C and Melanie, and new one’s like Bryan. I always said the Melanie should get her own book, and during this one you get the hint that she is dealing with some issues. I can’t wait to read Mel’s in Let Love Heal.

Overall I enjoyed this book, it had drama, it was emotional and heart warming. I love Maddy and Reid as a couple, and watching them both mature in the end. I have to say that Melissa Collins knows how to write some seriously hot love scenes, and I mean seriously hot ;) Love it when Reid’s goes all alpha male on Maddy.

If you enjoyed the first book, then I recommended you read this one, as I don’t think you will be disappointed it was a great sequel.

It’s hotter, sexier, sweeter, and more mature – indeed love is sweeter the second time around. This is much is true with Maddy and Reid. They had found love that is rare and true, but the past keeps on haunting them and an unexpected surprise awaits in their future.

The story picked up right after Let Love In ended. Maddy is pregnant and Reid had just walked out on her. Fears set in. She was young, alone and boyfriend-less. Reid on the other hand was shocked to hear the news. Although I didn’t really pegged him for the type to run away – I guess it was expected when a bomb suddenly exploded in front of you without a warning. He just needed to regroup and settle himself. When he finally did – he was still a wonderful boyfriend who is ready to prove to Maddy that he can be a wonderful dad too.

They have a lot of issues to settle – most of which comes from Reid’s past. We get to know him and his family in depth. Reid didn’t care for his family anymore – but in order to get back to Maddy’s graces, he needed to make peace with his mother. He just didn’t expect what he found once he saw her. Things change, so does people.

The secondary characters are still awesome. Yes, Melanie is still in the story, and she has her own personal problems as well, but it didn’t stop her to be the friend that Maddy needed. I’d love to read her story on the next book!! We get to know Katie too! And believe me if I say that you will unexpectedly love her once you get to know her.

If I enjoyed reading Let Love In, I fell in love with the same old characters in Let Love Stay. They had endured so much in life, and they face a brand new challenge. It wasn’t a piece of cake – they had to work hard for them to be together. I love the changes in their character, they have come a long way since the first book. They still have problems and differences – but this time they face it head on, together, more honest with each other, more in love and at peace with themselves.

Let Love Stay is more than just a love story with a hot romance, and great sex – this is also a touching story about family, and forgiveness.

4.5 Emotional Stars

Oh Melissa, you did it, you brought tears to my eyes. Yep, I was tearing up while reading Let Love Stay. When I thought Let Love In was a great emotional book, with lots of heartache, then just wait until you read her sequel -oh boy.

If you keep reading there are light spoilers coming now

In LLS Reid finally confronts his past cause after he walked out the hospital without his beloved Maddy he finally tried to make things right; and Maddy was right by telling him to confront his demons before it's too late. Reading how he did visit his mom, how they talked about what went wrong in the past just broke my lil heart. I could feel both Reid's as well as his moms pain while recalling those bad years at home - who had thought that his dad was such a jerk!!

But his visit won't stay long a pleasant one and when things get real bad, Reid leaves the hospital again -this time not Maddy but his dying mom. He can't do this, couldn't handle the situation, not without her- Maddy. After they broke up they haven't talked for over a week, and both are a wreck. Reid used the time apart to get a clear mind... "It hits me like a ton of bricks. I'll not lose Maddy to my past. I will not let my demons ruin a future with my angel." But not only he used this time wisely, Maddy did too... "What the fuck is wrong with me that I told him he doesn't love me?"..."What a fucking mess and there's really no one to blame but myself" -Yeah she's right, things were stupid but thankfully both came to there senses and found there way back together.

From then on Maddy & Reid went through everything together, never letting the other one down and I FREAKING LOVED READING IT. Reid, my very handsome, best BF ever, suffered so much that it tore me apart. Gosh, I wanted to hug him every 5mins to make him feel better.

Melissa wrote a bomb sequel to Let Love In and the dual POV's were pure bliss to read- I loved being in both heads. She put a sweet happy ending in her story and I felt complete, knowing both are happy and deeply in love, yep I was happy. If you haven't read her books GO NOW AND DO SO!! You'll fall in love with Reid too; even in book 2 he still came up with the sweetest surprises and gifts for Maddy. Mmh I want my very own Reid too ;)

I couldn't wait to dive in to Let Love Stay. With where Let Love In leaves us, I was eager to know what happened next!

Let Love Stay begins immediately where Let Love In finishes. Maddy and Reid's relationship is up in the air, and they both have to come to terms with the big news from the end of Let Love In. Over the course of the book, Maddy and Reid realise that they have both made mistakes. Knowing that they can't live without each other, Reid vows to make peace with his past so that he can get Maddy back. Maddy wants to apologise to Reid for forcing him to face his past when he wasn't ready. She wants to tell him that she understands that he loves her the best way that he knows how.

After being reunited, it isn't all smooth sailing for Maddy and Reid. They have a number of obstacles to face and overcome if their relationship is going to last. To quote the blurb: "They’ve let love in, but now, they need to find out how to Let Love Stay."

Already having the connection to the characters, I really enjoyed continuing their journey. I loved finding out more about Reid's family, and I felt like I was right there with him while he was working through his issues. I could literally feel his uneasiness, pain and fear.

Maddy's journey seemed a little easier than Reid's. She definitely had her own issues to come to terms with and grew up a lot during the process.

You will smile, laugh and cry while reading this book. Melissa Collins has a fantastic ability to drag you in to the story and have you physically feeling the emotions of her characters. With Let Love Stay, she has delivered another beautiful story!

I'm not sure why I put myself through this but I did.

This is a continuation of Maddy and Reid's story. And there's drama, but the focus of these books is really each character's struggle within themselves and how they each choose to deal with their pasts, their present and their future.

I found to like Maddy less and less. Reid's anger disturbed me the most. I didn't find it sexy when he attacked Jay on the street, nor did I find the possessiveness of Reid to be romantic. I'm not sure why this is such a trend in romance novels. Condoning violence just isn't sexy.

Perfection at its Finest!
I loved both books so much. Reid and maddy are amazing as are the supporting characters. The books are quite different. As the first book concentrates on the college life and finding love....the second book concentrates on resolving their problems from their past and trying to build a future together. The story is real...dealing with real life issues. I love the writing and I cannot wait to see what else this authors to offer.

Damn, some BIG warning signs of coercive controlling behaviour in this relationship which is incredibly unhealthy. There's also a lot more vivid sex scenes which I think takes away from the story line (just another way to control a party) ... It did turn to redeeming itself but i felt there was a rushed story line in favour of being a sexy book rather than focusing on the relationship developing.

I was so excited when I got an ARC of Let Love Stay ~ I adored Let Love In and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen with Reid & Maddy ~ I was totally...

If you read Let Love In you know how it ended and what Maddy learned after she fled from Reid and ended up in the accident. The bomb she dropped on Reid had him...

and then well let's just say sometimes people need time to process and first reactions shouldn't always be the only one you rely on. In Let Love Stay we follow Reid & Maddy into the next phase of their relationship where they learn to deal with issues and ensure their love is first and foremost.

Reid & Maddy definitely can do one thing right and when they are...

they are so explosive and I'm telling you when I was reading parts of this book and thinking of the delicious Reid I know if that boy was looking at me I would be...

but this book isn't all about THAT and that is definitely well worth the read I was fanning myself! As we watch Reid struggle with his past and as he decides how to face that past I was ...

by what he ultimately decided to do but I was also extremely happy. There was a part of this book where I ..

it was a ugly bawling fest for me. I had the tissue and I was a freaking mess sitting at home with my daughter hugging me and my dogs just looking at me but enough about me. I can honestly say there was only one part of the book where I wanted to

both Reid & Maddy! Other than that part this book was perfect as it showed them working through their issues and coming to terms with both their pasts and future. There were parts where I was ....

at something that was said. I honestly started to become invested in Mel in this book and I KNOW there is more to her story and I just wanted to

her poor little self. As the book went along the more

I became and then I was totally....

and totally

around like the freak I am ~ yes I can admit that and by the end of this one I was totally....

Let Love Stay is a beautiful story of acceptance, forgiveness and once in a lifetime love. It is an amazing to watch Reid & Maddy cope with situations that this young kids had to face and at times I forgot how old they were. There were times where I was so...

for the hand life dealt in this book. This was a 5 star heart wrenching phenomenal story that had me captured from the start. I'm elated that the author is going to write a continuation of this series incorporating the rest of the gang and I can't WAIT for Mel's story and little more Momma! Definitely read this one it's so well worth it!!!

Melissa Collins has done it again. This book is breathtaking and simply beautiful. It is the continuation of the Love Series, following Let Love In. Let Love Stay continues Maddy and Reid’s story of love and strength and most of all acceptance.

Maddy has pushed Reid away and she knows it. But she didn’t expect it to be like this. Alone, pregnant and not sure what to do about the loss of the love of her life, Maddy returns to Momma’s and tries to figure out how she is going to do this and more importantly how to get Reid to forgive her.

What Maddy doesn’t realize is that Reid is just as torn up about running away from her. He loves Maddy with all his heart and she is the strength he needs to get through the biggest obstacle in his life, the one that Maddy pushed him into: Seeing his mother for the first time since he left home all those years ago.

Facing his demons and tackling it without Maddy along side is going to be difficult, but he knows what his heart wants and he wants it too. He wants to be the one that Maddy needs in her life. Maddy is his world and he just cannot seem to break free knowing that he is alone and without her.

Once again, Melissa Collins has tugged at my heart and made me feel for Maddy and Reid and their relationship. Struggling to keep from fast-forwarding to the end, I pushed through this book at a record pace. I needed to know how things would finally end or if that would be the end of this amazing relationship.

Reid once again stole my heart and I wanted so badly to reach through the pages and hug him while he dealt with the issues that have scarred his life for so long. The wall he put up because of his past, learning and acceptance that he must go through was painful to read. My heart ached so badly for him and his circumstances.

Maddy spent the time away from Reid wondering what was going to happen if he didn’t forgive her for the mistakes she made in pushing him away and pushing him to confront his past so they could move on and have a relationship not terrorized by demons from the past. But would Reid forgive her? My heart wanted so badly for them just to be together that it was painful to watch them apart. But more than getting Reid back, Maddy had to figure out how exactly she was going to tackle the rest of her life, especially now that she is pregnant.

The push and pull of their lives apart and together left me gasping for air at times. I was so in awe by these two in the first book that Let Love Stay pushed me even further. Melissa Collins has such an amazing way of reaching deep down and making the character connections and again, I fell in love with all of the characters in this book. This book made my new fictional friends come to life and I just can’t seem to get enough of any of them!

Together they could face the world and get through anything, but apart they struggled to take their next breaths. The transformation of Maddy and Reid in this book was so moving and left my heart in awe. I loved the first two books in this series and I cannot wait for more!

n my opinion, Let Love Stay can be read as a stand alone but to get the full effects of the Reid and Maddy’s story I do recommend reading Let Love In first before reading this one.

Let Love Stay occurs right where Let Love In leaves off where Maddy basically gives Reid an ultimatum. She believes that the only way he can get rid of his demons and completely move on in their life together is to reconnect with a certain someone before it is too late.

Both are also given some shocking news that affect their future. Reid is not as receptive as Maddy and she decides she needs a break from him and moves back home to think things through and also to recuperate.

_______________________________

Because of experiences and the hardships of their past both Reid and Maddy seem so much more mature for their age. Both Reid and Maddy have been through so much in their individual pasts that each has developed a wall around their hearts to avoid intimacy. When Reid first met Maddy he knew she was different. Just by looking into her eyes he could see that she has experienced just as much pain as he has. From then on, he knew that they belong together but just like any new relationship they both have their ups and downs.

Let Love Stay explores these ups and downs and there are many that get thrown their way. Despite the challenges this new couple experience – the love that they have for each other is strong enough to bear their troubles. They realize that they were both at fault and they strive to make amends in Let Love Stay. As they rekindle their relationship, Reid fully grasps the wonderful gift that they have been given and he is determined to show Maddy how much he wants a perfect family as much as she does.

I immensely enjoyed this series. Immediately, I felt a connection with the characters. The story telling was great. I thought that both stories were moving and emotional. heart breaking and also heart warming at the same times. There were some moments of frustration too but I loved how it all works out in the end.

Let Love Stay to me was a book about closure and forgiveness and also about rebuilding relationships. Not only in Reid and Maddy’s case but also with Reid and someone important from his past.

It is rare for me to find a NA series that portrays the real meaning of soul mates and true love. The Love Series is one of those that did. For me, this series is a MUST read.

WOW! What a story this was. I was truly amazed when I read Let Love In, but this, well this doesn’t compare.

The way in which Melissa writes is beautiful, she doesn’t miss a beat. She knows exactly what we want from her and she isn’t resisting in giving us fellow readers what we want.

This story picks up straight where Melissa left in Let Love In.

Maddie has just learned that she’s pregnant, and she’s told Reid to basically get out of her life.

Both Maddie & Reid have their own demons, their own history full of baggage that they carry around with them.

They just can’t seem to get rid of all the sadness and hate that they have in their baggage and it’s causing a rift in their relationship, not to mention the thought of becoming parents.

They both need to deal with their issues in their own way, but they are being stubborn about it.

I love the characters in this series, Melissa has managed to create a beautiful description of them.

I love how Melissa wrote each chapter in a different P.O.V. I loved this as you were made aware of what was going through each of them at the same time, it was awesome.!

There is some seriously HOT scenes in this and within them scenes, it proves to us readers just how much love there is between these two love birds. The way Melissa writes these scenes is phenomenal.

You can feel all the emotions that are emitting from each character in this book. You are drawn into this as if you’re actually within the book itself and living the moment as you read on.

You see that both Reid & Maddy mature into two young adults trying to deal with everything that’s going on. They seem to have grown up since the last book also, which is good, seen as there expecting a child :)

I can’t wait to read all about Melanie & Bryan, I would also love to see what happens to the others.

Does Mamma C get a second chance at love?

What has Melissa got up her sleeve for Katie?

Does Dylan find peace and love after all he’s been through? (I know you don’t know who Dylan is yet, but when you read the book you will understand where I’m coming from)

What’s happening with Lia & Logan?

Will there be wedding bells for Jack & Cammie?

Lots of awesome things to look forward to from this awesome author!

**I received an ARC from the author for an honest review**

The first book, Let Love In, was amazing! And this book was amazing as well and did NOT disappoint me! I love Maddy and Reid to death. I'm still waiting for Reid to come and kidnap me *winks*.

So Maddy has left the hospital after her car accident. She's just found out that she's pregnant and Reid has walked away from her, leaving her all alone. She's not quite sure what she's going to do. Her whole life has changed in the blink of an eye because of a tiny little being growing within her. She's going to have to rethink college, get a job, find insurance. And will Reid come back into her life so that he can be a part of the life of their child? There are so many unanswered questions! And she's not sure if she's going to be able to handle everything. With the help of her best friend, Mel, and Momma though... she'll be able to make it.

Reid didn't walk away. Maddy pushed him away. And he's not sure how to handle that. Maddy told him that if he can't deal with the past and his mom that maybe he doesn't have what it takes to love her. He keeps going round and round about this. He's going to have to deal with his past because he definitely wants Maddy in his life. What's he going to do if he can't deal with the past and move on from the fear? Will Maddy not take him back?

I loved reading and watching everything unfold between them again. They both have a lot of soul searching to do. I fell in love with these characters all over again as they went through their struggles, made their realizations, and tried to heal from their past. If you fell in love with the first book then you should definitely read this second book! It will make you laugh, cry, gasp, and giggle! I give this book 5 bright and shining stars!

***THIS BOOK IS FOR MATURE READERS ONLY!!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review and because I read the first book, Let Love In (review here). This book starts where the last one left off, with Maddy in the hospital after she's revealed the pregnancy to Reid. Reid does what he does best, throw a temper tantrum and storm off. But who can blame him? He's young and comes from a bad home life. He's never had this much responsibility and has never been in love before. Maddy is understandably crushed and does the only thing she can - she leaves to go stay with Momma & Melanie. She has to figure out what she's going to do, whether Reid is in her life or not.

This book is a new adult romance that has it all - sex, romance, love, heartache, drama and happily ever after. There are highs and lows and good times and bad, just as in life. The relationship between Maddy & Reid is so hot it is combustible. They both love each other to the ends of the earth and back but they both have a lot of immaturity and history to get past if they are ever going to stay together. I don't always like new adult romance, but this is a good story, with good characters that makes you feel something as you read. This isn't always a feel good story, but it does have a happy ending that will make you smile.

Rating: 4.5 Fairies

The first thing that was obvious after just a short few chapters was that I believed in the author's world and her characters. Collins has created well-crafted three-dimensional characters who are deeply human. This immediately pulled me in and kept me hooked.

The unfolding drama surrounding Maddy and Reid was as endearing as it was frustrating. The descriptive detail was beautiful, and their reactions moving, yet there were times that I felt somewhat old. Dang it! Perhaps being in my mid-thirties, is making me a little more cynical? Yet despite my bouts of feeling a little out of touch with the turmoil and emotions of a new adult, there were many levels that I could relate to the characters and their histories.

There's just enough back story to help remind us about the events of book one, Let Love In, without it becoming too repetitive, and the story line has enough depth to challenge the reader, whilst still enabling it to become a read that is easy to absorb.

Nicely crafted, creatively developed and overall a solid 4.5 fairy read.

Melissa Collins you have done it again.

Maddy and Reid story started in Let Love In, and this is the sequel to their story. Reid knows that he has messed up, but he also knows there is NOTHING more important then Maddy and their baby. but he needs some closure in his life before he can move on.

Maddy would do anything for Reid, but when it comes down to doing what is best for her and the baby she is will to walk away from him. he needs to get some closure on things in his past before they can have a future.

Reid knows that he isn't going to be able to handle some of the past without Maddy and he doesn't want to, he knows that he needs her by his side before he can face all of his past.

I really loved that Melissa took on us another emotional journey but knew that Maddy and Reid needs to do it together and not apart. Thank you Melissa for giving us another emotional roller coaster!

All the frustrations I felt with Maddy and Reid continued in this book...their issues just seemed so futile. All they needed to do was TALK and all would be fine. As soon as they did that (talk) it was fine. Once they got past the issues, I really enjoyed the book. I literally was crying for the last half of the book I swear. All the emotions between them finally giving themselves to each other, without fear, and Reid resolving his past with his mother, and the baby stuff just had me a balling mess. There were some issues with some stuff that bugged me like the constant "I love you's" was just a little over the top. But all in all I enjoyed this book more than book 1. I am happy with the ending and I'm going to now proceed to the last book and finish.

This is book 2 in the Love series, a continuation of Maddy's and Reid's story. It picks up right where Let Love In leaves off. It was mainly more of the same from the first book with more drama. Maddy has relocated back to her hometown. Reid gets an ultimatum from Maddy which he feels is unreasonable. About half way through, I was getting bored and sheer determination kept me going. I've got most of the other books in the series because they've gotten such great ratings. The immaturity and internal monologues sometimes make me want to scream. But, I'll continue with at least one more book. I may give up on the series if the drama, angst, and immaturity continue.

So after my experienced with the first book I did not want to read it. But my fried insisted I give this one a chance. So there I go and buy it. Luckily it was on sale. Disappointed once again. I honesty skipped whole chapters in this book. I tried to keep an open mind but it was so hard. Same characters were so annoying. Maddie was so whinny, no one loves her and everyone leaves her, thing was blah. And got old fast since it's the same issues from the first book.

After this book I honestly stayed clear of any books period an reread some of my go to "pick me up" books.
