Speak Life: Words That Work Wonders

Rate this book
When you agree with the marvelous promises given in the Word of God, you will begin to reap God's gifts of love, joy, peace, health, and favor. When you speak those promises out loud and into the lives of others, your words can work wonders. Now, the timeless writings of E. W. Kenyon and Don Gossett join forces to build our faith, challenging us to live a bolder life for God. Through His power, believers should be able to overcome adversity and sin in such areas as finances, health, marriage and other relationships, and their emotions. There is power in the blood of Jesus to defeat anything and everything the enemy brings against you! You, too, can speak words of life into those who are lost, suffering, and needy. Let your compassion flow. The bolder your faith words are, the greater your results will be.

DNF.

This book has a lot of good messages, but they are very basic concepts and written such that it rubbed me the wrong way. I can’t explain it, but I just really couldn’t get into it, and a DNF is usually an automatic 2 stars for me based on my imaginary rating scale haha.

I read this book in bits while I read other books too. The style of this book makes it easy to read in this manner. It is divided into four segments that cover words of success, trust, healing, and victory. On a front title page I made a list of page numbers that impacted me. The book combines the writings of Don Gossett and E. W. Kenyon. Each writing is a short segment. It could very easily be used as part of a devotional reading plan. The compact size makes it a nice tuck-in also. This book will get reread frequently.
