Julia P. Lynde lives and works in Minnesota, United States.

"I am older than most of the characters in my books. I have blue eyes and grey hair. I enjoy hiking in the mountains (which is difficult in Minnesota) and hosting dinner parties. Writing has been part of my life for a very long time. Publishing, however, has not. I am very pleased to be publishing my stories on Amazon.

When writing a story, I strive to write for myself, but once the stories are written, they are not really complete without readers. So, to my readers: thank you for providing an audience for my characters. I hope you will love them as much as I do.

If you love my novels, please rate and review them. Doing so helps other readers find good books. If you find something you don't care for, please tell me. I love getting fan mail, as occasional as it is, and I reply to all mail I receive."

Written from the first person point of view, Allison is rescued by Sarah when Allison's car goes off the road having hit a deer. Allison gets Sarah to take her to her cabin and invites her in to stay. Fairly common theme. I'm probably looking at this story more critically since I discovered Julia P Lynde is a man (and it has definitely coloured my vision). At this stage I don't really like Sarah as she is quite passive aggressive but that may change in rest of the series.

I'm also anticipating the tango becoming part of the story as it seems to be a common theme in Lynde's books.

Strange bedfellows

Sarah falls into Allison's life like the snow falling around them. After being recused by Sarah, they head to Alison's cabin to wait out the storm. We all know it's nice to relinquish control sometimes. Sarah shows Allison just how broken she is. Playing mind games that only has one winner.

Very Intense

Don't know how realistic, but I don't read for realism, I read for pleasure. This was pleasurable. Can't wait to read the others.
