I thought that this volume was a little confusing during the first couple chapters. What I mean is that I don't believe someone who is knew to Persona would understand. That isn't so good for an adaptation.

In contrast, the last chapters were super heartwarming, and I loved them.

I suppose I'll average the lower moments and the higher moments into a four-star rating.

kanji core

I feel like they were close to something insightful. It’s tragic that Kanji spent so long denying himself and his passions for “feminine” stuff just because he’d been made fun of for it. It’s really gross that the writers took this scenario as an excuse to depict someone who thought he was gay, but then concludes he was just “confused.” It would’ve been fine if Kanji was gay - actively denying that adds nothing to this story, and actively makes it worse. Very, very frustrating.

Most of my gripes carry on from the last volume. The cut from Investigation Team to flashback to Kanji's boss was really confusing.

The curry song at the end . . . absolutely hilarious, as are Yukiko's excuses for slapping the guys. There's nothing NOT to like about Persona.
