After having her heart broken by a country music star, Savannah Braden has sworn off men. She takes a break from her fast-paced Manhattan lifestyle for a weekend at a survivor camp to rebuild her confidence and readjust her priorities. But when she meets the handsome guide, Jack Remington, she’s drawn to everything about him—from his powerful physique to his brooding stare—despite the big chip on his shoulder. Powerless to ignore the heated glances and mounting sexual tension, Savannah begins to reassess her hasty decision.

After losing his wife in a tragic accident, Jack Remington found solace in the mountains of Canada. This solitary existence allows him to wallow in his guilt and punish himself for having made a decision that he believes cost his wife her life. He never expected to want to return to the life he once knew—but then again, he never expected to meet gorgeous, stubborn, and competitive Savannah Braden.

One passionate kiss is all it takes to crack the walls the two have built to protect themselves, and allow love to slip in. While Jack fights his way through his guilt, and struggles to get back into the lives of those he left behind, Savannah is there to help him heal, and together they nurture hope that they’ve finally found their forever loves.

Incredible book. Loved this like I love all of Melissa's books! This was my favorite of the Bradens.

I am editing this to include a bit more about this wonderful love story and the safety info. Ran out of time late last night.

Jack, our delectable hero, is a widower. He is gorgeous, thirty-seven, ex military and now teaches wilderness survival and pilots his own plane to get his clients in and out of the wilderness. He is angry, so very angry but it's more than that. He was married for ten years and quite happily or maybe I should say contentedly. He has been celibate since his wife's death which was two years ago. He never even looks at any other women. His anger could better be explained as guilt. He 100% believes the accident is his fault. His wife went out in a storm to pick up a few things she needed and he feels he didn't do his husbandly duty and go in her stead since it was beginning to rain. He truly believed everyone blamed him but he was just projecting what he was feeling on everyone else. He has been hidden away in that wilderness for two years.

It is my opinion that he was more consumed with guilt than anything else. On his latest survivalist mission there was a lovely young woman, Savannah Braden, who was part of the team. She is getting over a breakup where she found out her boyfriend cheated on her multiple times. The H's and h's eyes lock and it was all over for both of them. He fought it hard!

Jack's marriage: It was happy and he was content...comfortable but he didn't have a clue that he could have been missing anything until Savannah. He thought his wife met his needs but he had no idea he had so many needs that had yet to be discovered. With his wife things were maybe a bit blah, scheduled...like sex...every Wednesday and Saturday night. IMHO he had loved his wife dearly, at least he thought he had...but not like the totally consuming love he now had for Savannah. They were a freakin' perfect couple. With Savannah everything was better, the sex, the excitement...just everything. He had never loved anyone like he loved Savannah! It was glorious! There is never a question if she was his everything. No one said/thought it better than Jack himself. What he had before was good. What he had with Savannah was MAGNIFICENT!! That says it all!!

SAFETY STATUS
Hero was never a man-whore.
He had only been with a handful of women before he married. I took that to mean several by the way he talked or thought.
He has been celibate since his wife passed away (two years.)
The heroine is absolutely the love of his life. There is no doubt.
No OM/OW at all. (h's ex shows up once but it was nothing and Jack got rid of him.)
Steamy - oh yes! They couldn't keep their hands...among other things...off of each other.

Novella follows this:
Our New Love (when they welcome their newborn.)

I highly recommend this book as well as the series.

Another well-done romance from Melissa Foster! I have been slowly working my way through the Love in Bloom series and I was excited to read Savannah’s story. This book was exactly what I have come to expect from this author with a straightforward romance with enough heat to keep things very interesting. This book can definitely be read as a stand-alone but a lot of the characters featured in the earlier books play a pretty big role so reading the series in order would be ideal.

Savannah is the only daughter in the large Braden family. She seems to keep picking the wrong men so she has sworn them off for now and is escaping to a survivor wilderness retreat. Jack runs the survivor camp and notices Savannah right away. Jack has been lost for the past two years since his wife died and has a lot of work to do for himself in order to move on. Savannah may just be what he needs to come alive once again.

Savannah and Jack had a lot of chemistry. They fell for each other pretty quickly but it seemed to work in this story. There were a few things in the story that were kind of unbelievable but I just went with it since it is a fictional story. I did like how they talked about the things that they had been through and were able to support each other as they worked through their issues.

B.J. Harrison continues to do a great job in narrating this series. I decided to speed the narration up to 1.25 x speed which worked perfectly for me. I thought that he did a great job with the various character voices and I liked that he was able to add a lot of emotion to the narration. I wouldn’t hesitate to listen to more of this narrator’s work in the future.

I would recommend this book to others. I think that this was an enjoyable read with just enough heat. I can’t wait to read more of this series!

I received a copy of this audiobook from the author/publicist.

Screeeeeech. What the....? I have really enjoyed Savannah in the previous books, and I was excited to get her story. The beginning was promising and how can you NOT love Jack... BUT. He has HUGE HUGE issues but somehow they meet, fall in love, get past all the problems he hasn't been able to deal with in TWO YEARS AND get engaged in a WEEK? I'm skeptical.

Audiobook: Narrator - B.J. Harrison

Another wonderful narration by Mr. Harrison. He is officially the voice of Love and the Bradens for me! This was a clear narration, easy to follow and understand with distinctive voices and a performance that added the much needed emotion when needed.

I really enjoyed this story and to be honest, I didn’t think I would. Going in, I had not read the blurb and I did not know this hero had a deceased wife. That’s a trope that I usually avoid because it can be tricky making me believe the hero loves the heroine as much or more than he did his wife. But Jack proved my worry was for nothing. While he definitely struggled, this author wrote his story in such a way that I was filled with all the emotions he was and loved watching him heal.

Finally getting Savannah’s story was amazing as well. To be honest, I wasn’t sure who her hero would be and I was afraid it was going to be her ex. So glad Ms. Foster gave Jack to her. She was just what he needed but he was everything she wanted as well.

This is a beautiful story that dealt with so many different issues as Jack moved out from the darkness. I really would love to see this couple again further down the road with all their children.

Dual POV
Safe no ow drama; om drama - h’s ex shows up but he doesn’t separate this couple and it’s just for a couple of pages; h is not a virgin; H has been celibate since death of wife 2 yrs ago

Disclosure: I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are completely my own.

My FAVORITE book of the series! We’ve seen Savannah Braden over the past few books, as she’s the only sister of the sexy Braden men.

Savannah is a successful attorney in Manhattan, who has had bad luck with men. To ‘find’ herself she heads on a weekend survival retreat and meets some interesting characters. My favorite character being hard-ass Jack Remington. Sexy, moody, walled-off, Jack Remington has been hiding from his life for the past two years.

This is the first book in the entire series that had me crying. This is an emotionally driven story of love lost and second chances. We watch as Jack returns to his old self, forgives himself, rejoins his family, and finds true love.

Even with all the crying, there is a happily ever after. That’s one of the things I love about the Melissa Foster books in this series, they are all stand alone books with HEAs. The other thing I love would be all the sexy men. Keep them coming, Melissa!

I cannot wait to see more of the Remington siblings, but not before we get Hugh’s story.

Yeah, if I hadn’t already fallen in love with the Savannah character from all the previous books (I saved her story until last) I probably wouldn’t even give this one three stars. Savannah had become my favorite secondary character and maybe my favorite Braden over the course of this series. In no small part I’m sure because I’m a guy. So I was really looking forward to reading her story. I think subconsciously was trying to save the best for last.
Where was the fiery, confident Savannah I came to love in her brother’s stories? She’s replaced by a woman willing to stay in a relationship with a serial cheater for far too long. She’s insecure and looking to everyone else for advice and validation about her feelings. Sure she tearfully speaks he mind to Jack a few times early in the story but she still came across to me as sort of weak in comparison to the character I’d come to know in previous stories.
I liked the Jack Remmington character but his debilitating guilt fueled anger over his wife’s death just never really made sense to me. Was it really such a big deal in the 21st Century that he let his wife drive to the store rather than going himself when he had no advance knowledge of the coming storm? So much of this story was built on Jack overcoming this guilt and re-establishing relationships with his family and his late wife’s but his guilt over her death seemed way over the top to me. It’s not like he let her knowingly drive out into a snowstorm or hurricane.
Why did Ms. Foster feel she had to put kink into Savannah’s sex life while the rest of the female characters in this series had very healthy libidos they never were into anal or rough sex? Why did she feel the need to have Savannah want things the author herself was afraid to more than hint at in her sex life? By the time they hook up at her apartment she’s begging him to do things with her he’s uncomfortable with. And why for a woman supposedly devastated from her previous relationship was she so quick to get intimate with Jack, physical attraction or not? Yeah, I know in her mid-thirties she’s sexually experienced and mature but before they’ve barely exchanged 10 words with each other,(most of them cross) she’s letting Jack undress her and do things to her she’s never allowed or wanted another man to do. I don’t mind the Savannah character being a sexually confident, know what she wants modern woman but she came across as almost slutty to me doing what she did with a man she barely knew. And for a guy just starting to find his sexual desires again after two years of no female contact, Jack didn’t hesitate to do some things right out of the gate with Savannah that he never did with his late wife in a dozen years of sharing a marriage bed in what we’re told was a very healthy marriage. Just seems like all things considered he might have decided to wait a little before he decided to try and explore with her. Bottom line is I guess I just found Savannah resembling a porn actress in a porn movie In her sex life a little upsetting.
And speaking of quick, for all of her seeming doubts and insecurities about her ability to find the right guy Savannah didn’t waste any time telling Jack that she loved him while she still harbored so many fears about his ability to get past all of his issues. I know this is a romance novel but Savannah’s instant willingness to acknowledge her over powering attraction both emotionally as well as physically to Jack and her willingness to give everything, heart, body and soul to him almost instantly seemed unrealistic even for the genre.
As much as I liked the Jack Remington character and watching him conquer his ghosts this book seemed far too focused on Jack and his issues over Savannah and their budding romance. Was it just so we could get to know his siblings who were destined to be the subject of their own series?
And if I really want to be snarky, how is it Kaylie who had mostly just been a small time singer in local bars and restaurants around Weston and Allure Colorado before becoming a mom and marrying Chaz, was now performing in front of thousands in Central Park? Seems like that is something only major recording artists do not small time singers hoping to get into the big time. And what big time New York City lawyer has to be at the office at 8 a.m. EST?
In spite of all of my complaints, I guess I had to love Savannah’s true Braden character in her readiness to give her whole heart to Jack despite all of her bad experiences with relationships and his issues. And I guess her sexual appetite was no less voracious than her brothers. When Cupid’s arrow strikes one of the Bradens there’s no holding them back in giving their hearts and they’re insatiable lovers. I certainly like the fact that jack right from the start of their relationship being so open and honest with Savannah about his baggage and his desire to over come it so he could be in a relationship with her. And how do you not respect and pull for a Congressional Metal of Honor winner ex Special Forces hero?

Savannah Braden has had enough and has sworn off men. Her on again off again affair with Country Music Star Connor Dean is finally over, he has cheated on her for the last time. She’s always been strong willed but she feels that she’s lost something of herself and decides to go on a four day camping trip in the mountains with survival guide Jack Remington. Her instant attraction to the angry recluse throws her for a loop because she’s through with men but the way that he completely changes when talking to four year old Aiden shows her that he’s not all tough as nails that he claims to be. There’s a softer to him and she’s determined to help him find closer to whatever has made him the way that he is today.

Jack Remington is hiding and has been hiding for years now ever since the tragic accident that took his wife. He blames himself and can’t get past the fact that if only he had stopped her, she would still be alive today. His family doesn’t understand so he did the only thing that could help his get past the hurt which was to run away. Years later, he’s still haunted by her memory and running really hasn’t helped him at all. Jack doesn’t know what hit him when he finds himself instantly attracted to the stubborn and competitive Savannah Braden. He knew that he shouldn’t have allowed her to come as a last minute addition to the weekend outing but he’s determined to ignore her and he will not let her get under his skin or the wall that he built around his feelings. One kiss was all that it took to know that his life was about to change. Is he ready to let go of the past and forgive himself?

I’ve been a fan of Savannah since she was first introduced in the series and was so happy that she was finally going to get her happily ever after like so many of her brothers had. She and Jack Remington were the perfect match and I really liked that there was very little drama in this book. The introduction to the Remington’s was a pleasant surprise and I was super excited to see that there will be another spin off of the series to include all of them! I’m anxiously awaiting the final Braden story which is about Hugh. He’s evolved in the series from the young playboy who seemed to care more about himself and partying it up to a caring person that realizes that he might be missing something with all the parties and fast paced race car driver life style.

Bursting with Love is the fifth Book in the Braden Love in Bloom series and tells the story of Savanah, the only Braden sister. Savannah has a habit of choosing the wrong men and after breaking up with her latest relationship disaster, she goes on a wilderness retreat to regroup and find herself again. To her surprise she instantly becomes attracted to the rugged and surly wilderness guide, Jack Remington. Two years later, Jack is still getting over the loss of his wife who died unexpectedly in an accident. The sparks fly between Savannah and Jack and both face their demons and help to heal each other. Their relationship moves extremely fast under the circumstances but seems to work for this couple.

This is an enjoyable edition to the Braden series. Savannah has all the Braden qualities we have come to love. The chemistry between Savannah and Jack is palpable and the story provides a nice balance of steamy sex and character development. Jack’s self reflection and growth allows him to not only move forward with his relationship with Savannah as well as with his family. As usual, Melissa Foster tackles an emotional and challenging situation, in this case, how to move forward following an immeasurable grief and loss with sensitivity. As a recent widow myself, I could empathize with Jack and understand his guilt and grief. I did think 2 years was rather fast for people to be “expecting” him to be moving on. Everyone processes grief differently and 2 years goes by in a blink. I could see his family and friends wanting him to stop being so withdrawn and to stop cutting them off, but moving past his grief seemed a bit fast. I probably would have felt better if it was more like four years after his loss. In spite of this, I enjoyed the story very much and was excited to see Savannah get her happily ever after.

As usual, B. J. Harrison did an excellent job voicing the characters. I particularly liked his narration in this story. He really brought emotion to the characters.

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free for a Blog Tour in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Savannah is strong and brave, but is a mess after finding her boyfriend, Connor Dean, in bed with another girl again. She's let that toe rag back time and time again and something in her has clicked she wants to be treated better she deserves to be treated better. So what doe she do? She sends herself on a survivors weekend. Little did she know it would help someone else more than herself.

Jack is essentially an angry mess. He blames himself for what happened in his past and he doesn't know how to cope. It was amazing to see Savannah break down those walls and make him see that life was worth living again, that he could love again.

Their path is painful. There are lots of hurdles to overcome but together they are stronger.

Jack reuniting with his family it must have been hard for him, especially trying to make it up to his father. But he knows that family is important to Savannah and it was once important to him. He knows it's going to be a difficult road but he needs to find his way back to them. I really liked the Remingtons. I am interested to learn more about them. I love Siena, she was like a breath of fresh air.

I savoured every page of this book because I knew that after this there's only one more Braden sibling left. I'm not quite sure I'm ready to let them go yet, so I'm hoping they will feature in The Remingtons books.

I was so excited when I found out that this book was all about Savannah! After watching Braden brother after Braden brother find their love and happy ending, I could not wait to see the same happen for their sister!

Entertainment attorney Savannah has an awful breakup with a cheating man and does what every woman wants to do. She takes off on a trip to get her mind right. While on her camping trip she runs into the smokin' hot Jack Remmington and the heat between them could start a forest fire!
I was pretty surprised at the speed that Foster had the characters develop their feelings for each other. Normally in this series she would have the characters going through some internal turmoil and fight their feelings for one another. Bursting with Love was the perfect name for this book because there is nothing stopping these two characters from falling for each other.

I also loved the way you see Savannah really stand by her man while he works through the past that has caused him so much pain. I believe that her helping him move on allowed her to fully heal from the heartache she experienced.

All in all I think that Melissa has done it again! Go grab this book and don't worry about a blanket and hot beverage! This story has enough heat for you both!

I was quickly engrossed in the lives of Jack and Savannah and caught up in their whirlwind love story. Bursting With Love is a story that deals with how we deal with our inner demons and self-perceived wrongs. Watching Jack fight through his past hurts, wrongs and demons to embrace true love was very moving. I loved how Melissa weaved in the reconciliation with his family and their own family barriers that had to be dealt with. As with all of the novels in this series, Bursting With Love can be read without reading the others in the series and you will still be able to appreciate the story line. However, by reading the entire series you get a deeper appreciation and respect for the relationships between the characters.

This is second book that I read written by Melissa Foster. I think that this book is better then Game of Love, but I still didn't like it.
At the beginning the book seemed interesting, but somehow I just lost the interest.

Beautiful, strong and extremely capable Manhattan attorney Savannah Braden has had it with her on again off again boyfriend country music star Connor Dean. Questioning why she took him back after cheating on her multiple times, she decides to get away at a survivor camp in the mountains, hoping to rebuild her confidence and get her head and heart on straight. She doesn’t need a man in her life, but watching her brothers fall in love makes her question when will it be her turn?

Savannah doesn’t count on meeting the brooding, handsome alpha Jack Remington, their pilot and survival guide for the next few days. Although he’s anything but friendly, she’s inexplicably attracted to him, from his rugged good looks to his masculine physique and although he brings new meaning to the term gruff, he shares the powerful attraction, stealing glances as if against his own will. This throws her making her question herself even more.

Jack has walked away from life, leaving family and friends behind after losing his beloved wife Linda in a tragic accident two years earlier. An accident he blames himself for. He can’t get past the guilt, so he runs away to the mountains living a solitary life and punishing himself, not allowing any happiness, joy or love into his life.
He is not prepared for the magnetic force of attraction he feels for Savannah and after saving her from a bobcat, they share a passionate kiss that changes everything..

Jack, confused and ruled by guilt waffles between being the broken man and self-proclaimed mean bastard he is and the old Jack wanting to reemerge.

Savannah is exactly what Jack needs, but is he what she needs? Will she forever be living with Linda’s ghost or will Jack be able to finally face his past and put it to rest?

This is a very emotional story of love and loss and love again, packed with intense and spontaneous heat, passion, romance and love. There are tender sweet moments, heartbreaking memories and coming to terms with the truth of what we should assume responsibility for and what is simply fate.

The family reunion was particularly heartfelt and emotional. B.J. Harrison does a phenomenal job of bringing these characters to life. He has perfect timing, knowing when to speak softly and when to raise his voice, the way you do when making a point or losing your temper. Once again his cadence and different voices make it easy to follow the story, easily recognizing each character. He does an amazing job of voicing the parents, putting you in the story as if a witness to the action.

Another 5 stars for Melissa Foster for bringing a story of self-forgiveness, enlightenment and letting yourself be open to the possibility of love, told in the way only she can do it justice!

3.5 – 4 Stars

Bursting with Love is the fifth book in The Bradens series (Love in Bloom Book #8) by Melissa Foster. The Love in Bloom series proved to be a heartwarming journey through love, family, and personal growth. Spanning multiple interconnected series/stories, it offers a wonderful blend of romance, humor, and emotional depth that kept me reading the whole way through.
Ms. Foster crafted fully developed, relatable, and multidimensional characters who added an extra element of emotion and interest to my overall reading experience. The heroes are fiercely loyal and endearing, while the heroines are smart, empowered, and refreshingly ‘real’. Each character feels like someone you could know in real life, making their struggles and triumphs, high and lows, all the more impactful.
The stories have a perfect balance of steamy romance mixed with heartfelt moments. But that doesn’t mean that Ms. Foster shies away from exploring deeper themes like forgiveness, self-discovery, and the complexities of relationships – adding dynamic layers to the storyline/s. But, despite the emotional depth, the series still maintains more of a lighthearted charm, sprinkled with humor and tender family connections.
While each novel can be read as a standalone, there is an interconnectedness with the recurring characters and overlapping storylines - which help create a sense of community that feels warm and inviting. It’s like being welcomed into a big, loving family where everyone has a worthwhile story to tell.
‘Within the Love in Bloom big-family romance collection you'll find fiercely loyal heroes and smart, empowered women on their search for true love. They're flawed, funny, and easy to relate to. Characters from each series appear in future Love in Bloom books…’
If you are a fan of contemporary romance or simply looking for a feel-good series to escape into, this series is a worthwhile binge read…

Bursting with Love is the fifth book in The Bradens mini-series, and it features the only sister of the family, the feisty and determined Savannah Braden. After dumping her cheating boyfriend, Savannah runs away to a survivalist weekend camp with a gorgeous but irritable and brooding guide named Jack Remington. Although leery of opening herself to the possibility of being hurt by love, Savannah can't fight both her powerful pull towards Jack and the challenge of getting under his skin at every turn. Jack is still grieving the death of his wife after two years and has perfected the art of being miserable. These two together seem like a disaster in the making, but the passion and chemistry when they finally give into their desires is combustible.

I liked Savannah from the very first Bradens book, and I hated watching her with her cheating boyfriend in previous books. As with so many strong, successful, beautiful women, she kept going back to the bad boy. On the surface, Jack, a former special forces soldier and modern day adventurer seems like a bad boy, but he is the best kind of sweet and loving underneath that hard exterior. As with all of Melissa Foster's stories, family drama is sprinkled throughout the book, and I teared up several times watching Jack reconnect with his family and allow himself to grieve for his deceased wife. I make the story sound heavy, but Foster employees her usual finesse to balance poignant emotions with scorching steam and a sprinkling of comedy. I already miss Jack and Savannah, and I am headed off to start Hugh Braden's story next.

BJ Harrison narrates most of the books in the Love in Bloom series, and he is an ideal choice for the single narration style. Harrison performs both male and female roles with skill, but I especially love his deep, masculine cadence for the sexy male leads. His delivery is flawless, and he makes an already moving story even more touching as an audiobook.

I received a copy of this audiobook at my request in exchange for this honest review.

Anyone who is familiar with this series or Melissa Foster can tell where this is going, but OH MY….it was hot and fun getting there.

Throughout the Snow Sisters Series, the men have been hot, sexy and romantic. Jack is all those things, but he is also rough and tough with a lot more baggage than the other men. At first I had a hard time warming up to Jack. He came across as rude, obnoxious, and downright uncaring. Then I started getting glimpses of his true self, the self from before the accident, the self he has hidden so deep inside it had to claw its way back out. These glimpses warmed my heart for him. Whether he was able to stay with Savannah or not I really wanted him to be happy again. To understand it is called an accident for a reason and there was nothing anyone could do to stop it and to make up with those closest to him.

Savannah is amazing. Not many people can understand what Jack is going through and know the right words to say and the right way to comfort him. At no point did she push him to move on, or forget his wife. She had all the right words to encourage him to make things right, but in his own time frame. I also enjoyed seeing how strong Savannah was, standing up to a groveling ex who caused her nothing but heart ache without knowing if Jack really was her happily ever after.

I am so glad that Savannah got her happily ever after; it’s been a long time coming in this series. Hugh is up next and I can hardly wait to read it. The Remington’s story will follow. Melissa Foster is amazing, she keeps coming up with such different, but equally romantic and fun stories about each character. This is a series I recommend, but you can read any of the books as a standalone.

I was torn on how many stars I wanted to give this book. I love the romance between Savannah and Jack, but as the the author herself mentioned in the story, it was quick and fast! But the full speed romance was not what I had an issue with, but the way Jack quickly went through the steps of "change" in his life.

I agree that there are times when a timetable does not really work for measuring when/how to fall in love. My issue with Jack is the quick turnaround after 2 years of lack of communication with his family, he had an epiphany and decided to make a change. For some it may/may not happen, but there were so many going on, that within a week's time, it was done.

The stars are for the romance itself. I like how they connected right away and were able to light a spark in him to push him towards healing. But I was also torn that the healing was so quick and was resolved with a few phone calls and a family meeting.

I also enjoyed how the Bradens tight-knit family and the values that their father instilled in them always play a part of the stories. The romance was sweet, the sexual escapades were raw and it was startling to read. Not that I haven't read them before, but it was something I wasn't expecting in this particular story. It was done discretely, but it sort of came of a shock when in occurred the first time.

Looking forward to read the next installment.

Bursting with Love
Love in Bloom, Book 8; The Bradens, Book 5
By: Melissa Foster
Narrated by: B.J. Harrison

Savannah Braden has sworn off men. After a broken heart, she takes some time off to go to a survival camp. Jack Remington is the handsome yet grumpy guide for the excursion. His wife died in an accident several years earlier, and the burden of guilt has him hiding in the wilderness. There is something about Savannah though that has heart stirring. Once again Melissa Foster captivates me with a story of relevant issues and a building love to enjoy. Jack is a mess, and Foster compassionately takes us on his journey. Heartbreaking and so clearly painful, it lets us feel everything he is going through. Savannah is a strong woman, and she has some things she needs to work through. I enjoyed these two as they both strive to be together. Plus we get glimpses of Braden family members, from siblings to cousins as well as getting a look at the Remington family. I love the family feel, it's like coming home with each story.

BJ Harrison is the voice of the Bradens and I love his easy pace and feel. Each voice is distinguishable and he makes the narration a relaxing, pleasure to hear. I also love that he keeps his voices consistent from book to book as family comes in. He is fun to listen to.

Out of darkness and despair into the light and love

Bursting With Love: Savannah and Jack Remington (The Bradens - Weston, CO Book 5) by Melissa Foster is wonderful love story of two hearts bursting with love.
I loved reading this book about Savannah finally finding someone worthy of her big, beautiful heart. And Jack is so very worthy. My heart broke for him while also encouraged that his heartbreak did not really break him. Through Savannah, this author brings Jack out of the fog of anger and gives him a reason to find clarity and closure.
This is a highly emotional read and I adore that Jack is allowing himself to finally feel all those awful feelings needed to heal. The love and support from Savannah is true love and acceptance at it’s very best.
Overall, despite their rocky, angsty start, Jack and Savannah are perfect for each other and brought together at just the perfect time. It might seem that Jack needs Savannah more, but she was in need of Jack as well. Savannah’s faith in the existence of good men, other than her father and brothers is restored by Jack. A wonderfully heartwarming, heartfelt love story with amazing characters that bring the heat while also pulling the heartstrings. And best of all, their future is forever and a day solid. I can’t wait to get a peek into their HEA in future books of The Love in Bloom series!

How long is too long when you’re grieving? When you’re racked with guilt & pain? Jack Remington’s live fell apart when his wife went to the store on a rainy night & didn’t come back. Jack was first at the scene & the guilt of not running this errand for his wife ate him alive. He’s isolated himself from everyone he loves, & that loves him, for two years now.

Savannah Braden is tired of being cheated on. She can’t believe she keeps taking her boyfriend back. Not this time. This time it’s over. She schedules herself a four day survival course out in the mountains. It’s going to show her that she’s tough enough to kick him out. Then she sees the pilot/instructor of the course. Their chemistry is intense from the beginning but the guilt & anger just roll off him.

I loved the way the little things affected Jack during this story. His interactions with young Aiden brought his tenderness & concern to the surface. Savannah has him longing for love again. His conversations with Lou & Pratt had him opening up for the first time in years & willing to move on. Savannah realizes that this isn’t something she can fix for him. He has to come to terms with it himself. She did regain her confidence during the time together. This was another fantastic story!

This is yet another great book from a fantastic author.
Melissa foster is alway able to bring her fans and new readers into the world of her characters that we can't help but fall in love with them and follow their journeys.

We have met Savannah in a few books now what with her being the only sister in the Braden family. She's a top lawyer to the stars and we have already seen part of her love life being complicated Savannah has finally sworn off men after her complicated relationship she shattered for the finally time. So decides she needs to get away and She takes a break from her fast-pacing lifestyle for a weekend at a survivor camp But then angry Jack Remington is her guide and she's drawn to him despite the issues that he's harbouring over the death of his wife two years ago that left him running for the mountings and hiding from the world. After getting to know Jack and the other people on the trip she learns a little more about him
However with mounting sexual tension, Savannah and Jack find away to heal each other but is it to late to fix the past jack has created for himself and can Savannah handle how quickly she's fallen for Jack.

“I promise you forever and a day.”

Oh my goodness, it just seems one book gets better than the other.

Savannah and Jack are irresistible and lovable and relatable. Not necessarily in how fast their relationship moves, but definitely in overcoming obstacles like grieving and bad relationships.

Jack is every woman’s dream. He’s an ex-Special Forces, engineer, whom can survive in any situation. However, he may be the best of both worlds, except he’s an angry, grieving widower who’s abandoned his family.

Savannah is a Braden through and through. She’s stubborn, self sufficient, and craving an intimate, living relationship that’ll last, even though she’s not aware she’s looking for it. She’s still reeling from finding her ex in bed with another woman.

On a survivalist expedition, heated exchanges become seductive glances, fear becomes lust, and sexual desires become intense, intimate, and wild nights in the woods, in the creek.

Savannah saves Jack. Jack proves to Savannah that not all men are cheating assholes. Love overcomes all in this Braden book.

I’m looking forward to the Remington’s Series.

Bursting with Love is my favorite book in these series! This captivating story was so intriguing, beautiful, and emotional. Savannah Braden is heartbroken after her failed relationship. She needs to get away from the city and reevaluate her life. On her way to a weekend survivor camp, she has an awkward meeting with a rugged, sexy, surly man who turns out to be her guide for the trip. Jack Remington loves the quiet mountain life after the tragic loss of his wife. He never expected to be so captivated by a city woman, but Savannah is the first woman to make him want more than his solitary life. They got off on the wrong foot but their fiery chemistry is impossible to ignore and they soon can't keep away from each other. The more they learn about each other the more they start breaking their rules. Savanah had given up men but she yearns to for more from this beautifully broken man. Jack left his life behind and Savannah makes him want to make amends, face his demons and be a better man. But can they make it work when their lives are so different and so far apart? I loved Savannah and Jack together! She is so strong and knows what she wants and makes Jack stronger too. Jack is broken but Savannah brings to life a passionate side he didn't know he had and they are explosive together!
I always enjoy B.J. Harrison' narration. His voice is smooth yet expressive, setting each scene beautifully, and bringing these complex characters and sizzling story to life, making this a captivating listen.

Savannah can tackle anything . . . including

Overall 4 out of 5 stars
Performance 3 out of 5 stars
Story 4 out of 5 stars

Manhattan was a lifestyle for Savannah Braden but it was not her life. She could rough it and find herself once again after a long awaited break-up. In the very land that Jack Remington found his peace or was it just existence. He also finds himself very intrigued by one of his guess. He found something more to great each day with and even a reason to be in the city just a little bit more. It was time that he greet the demons that had sent him on the path that found his current happiness and peace.

This was a journey for them both, Savannah and Jack. A journey for them to find that extra. Savannah needing to regain herself and Jack needed to forgive himself.

The passion between the two was right and awaiting them both to just give in to the possibilities.

B.J. Harrison gave the back drop but there was just that something missing from fully immersing within the audio.

*Audio Review*
Savannah Braden and Jack Remington are two broken people, though for different reasons, they both need healing. Savannah swears off men after catching her boyfriend cheating and decides to go on a survivalist camp to reassess her life, only she wasn’t banking on broody and hot Jack stealing her already broken heart.

I really felt for Jack, he has holed himself up in the mountains for the past two years following the death of his wife Linda, eaten up with guilt and grief. He feels immense guilt over her death, and has so much anger that he hasn’t really grieved for her, so when Savannah comes along and takes his breath away he doesn’t think he deserves to be happy. The chemistry between them is off the charts and you can feel the emotions from Jack ozzzing off the pages. This was a second chance love story that will tug at your heartstrings for sure.

Narration:
What can I say that I haven't already said about BJ Harrington - he is now synonymous to me when it comes to the love in bloom audio books and I hope he continues in the many more I have to listen to!

Bursting with Love has one of my favorite couples and is one of my favorite stories by Melissa Foster. Really loved the story of Savannah Braden and Jack Remington. Jack’s overcoming a tragic past when he and Savannah meet, and Jack decides to try a relationship with Savannah and Savannah does a great job of being there and supporting Jack. I really liked being part of their journey and especially Jack’s journey and what a great ending to this story. I listened to this as an audiobook narrated by BJ Harrison. I liked how he narrated the plane ride and landing into Colorado, it made you feel like you were part of the group. It always makes me smile when Hal comes to life through this narrator, and it is something I always look forward to. I also thought he did a great job narrating Ralph as well, it was very touching. BJ Harrison did an amazing job narrating this book. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could.
