Celia would've never thought that the vacation she took with her best friend in Vegas would change her life. It was just supposed to be a getaway before their last college semester began.
Matthew couldn't wait to return home, even though he had planned this getaway for his friend Declan. Declan is about to get married, and his teammates decided a party in Vegas would be the best idea to celebrate their captain.
Two people with entirely different lives meet accidentally, which seems like a coincidence. The closer they get, the more Matthew wants to show Celia who he really is. But does this secret threaten to break everything between the two of them?
First of all, I want to express my gratitude to Celina for sending me an ARC of this book. I am incredibly proud of her accomplishments as an author and delighted that my friend is pursuing her dream. Without a doubt, I've enjoyed all of Celina's books, and while this one didn't claim the top spot for me, it still left a positive impression.
One aspect that I felt could have been improved was the pace of the story. While I understand the need for a fast pace given the events in the book, I believe a slower beginning would have allowed for a more gradual development of their relationship and feelings.
Although some of the characters' attitudes seemed a bit childish to me initially, I later realized that their youthfulness was intentionally portrayed by the author, which added a nice touch to the story.
There were moments when I wished Matt would listen to his friends' advice and have some wake-up calls, but perhaps his behavior can be attributed to a defense mechanism caused by his overwhelming feelings for Celia.
Speaking of Celia, she shines as a character. Her approach to life in New York and how she handles her past struggles resonated with me, making her a standout character.
One thing that consistently impresses me about Celina's writing is her ability to craft captivating lead characters. I always find myself liking them, yet also suffering along with them throughout the story.
Overall, despite its flaws, this book remains an enjoyable read and serves as a promising introduction to the new series.
Once again, a big thank you to Celina for providing me with this copy and valuing my opinion. I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to witness her growth as a writer with each new story she creates.
Accidental Coincidence by Celina Trotzki 4⭐️ Celia is on a getaway with her best friend to Vegas before they begin their last semester at college. Matthew is celebrating his friends upcoming wedding and him and his friends planned a trip to Vegas to celebrate, where him and Celia meet. I loved the Taylor Swift mentions in this and I’m a sucker for a sports romance so this was right up my alley! The story did start of pretty fast paced with how the two got together but I enjoyed their instant chemistry and his nickname for her 🥺 This was a really fun romance and i enjoyed both the main characters and the vibe of them being on holiday. Thank you so much to @celinatrotzkiauthor for giving me the opportunity to read Accidental Coincidence early, all opinions are my own. Release date is 13th September!!
from las vegas to new york here we are with my review:
if u are a swiftie and u are in for some hockey vibes and a trip with some new romantics vibes this book right here it’s for u!
celia mon coeur 🤭 she was my favourite character here she’s such a strong character 💐 and matthew sometimes he literally made me rolling my eyes sometimes but in the end i liked how he developed with celia ✨
besides from them i liked the group of friends created between all of the characters there but i’ve to say that the final left me with a question about 2 characters and i need an answer but i’ll have to wait for book 2 now 🤷🏻♀️🤭
This book was utterly amazing from start to finish I could not put it down. Everything in the book was amazing and I really loved the development in the relationship of the FMC Celia and the MMC Matt. I think the thing I loved the most about this book was the dynamic between all the characters even the side characters.
I think this book is definitely up there with my favourites and my new comfort book. I honestly need another book right now because one book just isn’t enough of the relationship between Celia and Matt. I really loved how Celia’s best friend ends up dating matts best friend so they all have such an amazing little friendship group.

Arc Read- At first I wasn’t too sure if this book was going to be for me- I felt like the characters relationships happened very quickly and a little forced in such a small time span and the L word and obsessions with each other came a little too quick for me. However getting to 30% of the book it started to pick up and the events kept it interesting. The book progressed at a good pace and I forgot about the relationship timeline and enjoyed their journey. It was about 70% I really started to enjoy the book and it picked up a lot the events that unfolded and the relationship and some small sweet moments. I felt like the characters have grown a little but not much…I also loved Knox he was my favourite character throughout most of the book until towards the end my opinion of him changed which kind of surprised me. Personally I wasn’t sure about the ending it felt a little unfinished in some aspects but an overall book I did enjoy and would recommend.
If you like taylor swift references in books and sport romances this book is for you !!!
Celia and Matthew meet thanks to a trip to las vegas, her to enjoy some time with her best friend before their last semester of college starts and him to celebrate the upcoming wedding of one of his friends.
Celia and Matthew's story was fun, enjoyable and worthy of giggling moments! I completely loved Celina's character at times I found myself in her and I was glad to know that I wasn’t alone at all :,) Matthew did stressed me a little bit, but his development was *cheff kiss* and the chemistry between ??? i was obsessed
This book is perfect if you want to enjoy yourself a little bit and immerse yourself in a quick trip to Las Vegas perfect to get out of a reading slump! 🧸
The only thing i didn’t like that much was the fast beginning but other than that i really enjoyed the book! like come on taylor swift references ???? SIGN ME UP IMMEDIATELY
To finish, thank you Celina for the ARC provided, i wish you everything great in your release date 🫂🫶🏻
so honored to receive this arc! thank you celina trotzki for giving me this wonderful opportunity <3
the story follows two main characters; celia and matthew. they both happen to meet each other in vegas during vacation. turns out, they both came from new york! coincidence? i think not!
i absolutely loved celia. columbia scholar, business major, she id amazing. she always makes sure to become the best version of herself. the way she handles situations and past struggles was amazing. her previous experiences shaping the thought of people she met would leave her behind :( she deserves the entire world. i’m so glad she has lilah, matt, and his friends.
matthew did make me question him at times, but nonetheless i love him just as much. i must say, every time knox gave really good advice and he did not listen, i was like “PLEASE TAKE KNOX’S ADVICE!!” but as i read more and got to know him, i understand why he acted like that at times because he was scared his life would affect celia’s :”) i adored his development with her so much
i really enjoyed the vibes of taking a vacation in vegas to just be carefree and have no worries. i feel that them coming back to their homes in new york city was the real test of if they can be together. which they aced so well on!
one nit-picky item is that the pacing could have been a little bit slower, cause i felt that their first meeting happened too early and didn’t give room for development. other than that, this book was still enjoyable to read :)
Thank you to the author for the ARC in exchange for an honest review 🚁 ♥️ 🏙️
about the book- 🏙️ big city 🏒 hockey 📖 400+ pages 🌶️ lots of spice
review- 2.5 ⭐️
While this book wasn’t for me, I can totally see why people love. If you love spice, this is SPICY. If you love cheesy romance, you’ll be all over this. If your love language is gifts, this one is for you. I wouldn’t steer anyone away from reading this just people this is not the type of romance that I love.
With hockey romances, there are two sides of the spectrum for me: the Off Campus series or Icebreaker. This fell toward the Off Campus series side. There were smut scenes from the start of the book, cutting out all the angst and creating a lack of chemistry between the characters. I didn’t believe why they loved each other. The ‘hockey’ part of the hockey romance just wasn’t there. There was almost nothing about hockey in the book other than a job title for the characters.
The ‘plot twists’ could be seen from a mile away, and when they weren’t I just didn’t care enough about them. I was more bothered by why Celia didn’t realize soon enough.
There was no reason this book couldn’t be 300 pages. 450 pages is wayyy too long for a romance of this type.
With all of that said, there was some cute lines that made me smile said from Matt and I enjoyed Celia’s friendship with Lilah.
My hockey romance era came back with this book. I really enjoyed it even though it took some time to get used to. The writing style threw me off in the beginning, and I found some German elements (like sentence structure, for example) at the start, but that was just because I’m biased when it comes to things like this lol – nothing bad about that though! I stopped noticing it towards the end. The first half was pretty slow, but then I got very interested in the plot and couldn’t stop reading. I liked the characters and their friendships. The Vegas and New York setting was also something I enjoyed. The plot left me surprised, and I feel like it was planned out very well.
Even though the book had many topics to talk about, I felt like it was a little too long for "just" being a hockey romance. Considering this, you might think the next thing I’m about to say doesn’t make sense, but the end felt rushed. Yes, I think the book was both rushed and a little too long. I would have liked it better if the ending were a little longer since a huge thing happened toward the end, and I really wanted to know what would happen next.
All in all, I liked the story and the characters. The things I just mentioned didn’t detract from the reading experience (just some small things I wanted to say), and I’m definitely going to recommend this book!
Thank you so much Celina for giving me an opportunity to read and review your book! This is my first arc and my fully honest review.
This book was a total softie book! I very much enjoyed the story line and especially the characters. The way they were written made me completely fall in love with all of them. I loved Celia & Lilah’s friendship they were so cute and so reminded me of my friends 😭 This was the first book I’ve read online and not physically so I while reading I found myself thinking the book was so much longer then it actually was 💀 this book was so enjoyable and such a fun read! One of my favourite characters was indeed Matthew. Literally don’t get me started on Matthew 😩 that men was book boy material! He knew what he was so doing! I loved how much communication Celia and Matthew had after they started fully and openly talking and how much they grew together! The spicy scenes were immaculate aswell🤭🤭 Also I really hope we get Lilahs story cause I need to know what happens next with her and Knox 🙏 I can’t wait for everyone to read about Celia & Matthew 🩷
Honestly this book put me in my feels and I definitely recommend if you like….
My dear Celina, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity of reading your novels as the first person! I can't believe that you have written yet another masterpiece, and this one might be my favorite!
The dynamic between the characters is just chef kiss! I love the group of four and I can't wait to read more of them! This is my absolute favorite found family and my absolut comfort book from now on! I'm amazed by the talent Celina has of creating such a breathtaking atmosphere in her books!
Hockey romance + betrayal trope? I'm absolutely down for it! Especially when the main character is a hot New Yorker guy! Celia is a cute badass, knowing her worth, fighting against her anxiety.
Thank you so much for the ARC! I'm so happy to had the opportunity to read this book before it got released! I absolutely devoured this book. I loved it so terribly. What I loved most was how the relationship between the four main characters felt. It's like a small family that has come together, which also explains the rapid development. Lilah and Knox won my heart. They were both hilarious and I hope they get their own book in the near future because I need to read more of them! I loved Celia and Matt too! Of course there were also eye-rolling moments, but in the end they totally won my heart. I would have loved to read more of them! It is an incredibly great book! Especially for those who enjoy reading Hockey Romance.
ARC review! Thank you so much to Celina Trotzki for this opportunity!
First of all, I loved the Taylor Swift mentions in the book and Matt’s nickname for Celia 🥹
This book follows matthew and Celia, who meet on vacation in Las Vegas and find out that they’re both from New York.
I loved the setting, the idea and most of all the characters. I, personally loved Lilah and Knox along with Declan. The friendships between Lilah and Celia and also Knox and Matt were amazing. And I loved how they all the characters were simps for each other. The book was very spicy and full of clichés and I was a sucker for it.
The only thing I didn’t enjoy was that it was a bit too insta-lovey and maybe a bit long for me. It was still an amazing book tho and I highly recommend!
Okay everyone deserves love like this. where the man is sure about you and is ready to do everything in his power to make you feel safe and seen. Celia and Lilah didnt know that their vacation would be a catalyst moment when they would bump into Matt, Knox and their team. A Bachelor Party Trip and vacation post semester turns into hanging out together and going on dates.
I loved how Matt treated Celia with love, patience and care. This book is a perfect escape for people who are looking foe uncomplicated love.
I really enjoyed the book! One of the positive points was that the chapters were small since I love small chapters. Another positive point was that it was in dual POV and not being a book that gives information right at the beginning and can give wings to the imagination.
Speaking of the story itself, I loved how the story unfolded and I was very curious wanting to read more and more. I loved the dynamic between the characters and their growth! I'm super excited for more books from this universe!!!!
The vibe of this book is just too good! Loved the whole vacation fling thing, and then the New York vibes! Can't wait for book two and I'm just hoping it'll better be about Knox and Lilah!!!
„With you, it is not just anything. Everything is special.“ - Matt Grayson
I can’t describe how much I loved this Book, i coudn‘t stop Reading it, it‘s like i breathing it in. Everything was great. I loved how the relationship developed between Celia and Matt, the spice was spicy plus it was the perfect amount of it. I didn’t thought i would love this Book so much but Celina got me. But the thing I really really enjoyed the most we’re those little details only a true Trotzki fan would‘ve noticed. These details made the Book so much more realistic to me and it helped me a lot to imagine and picture everything. I can easily recommend this Book to everyone, espacially to those who are new to the English bookworld.
𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀: vacay fling, billionaire, found family, hockey romance, no third break up
This is such a good book. Celia and her best friend go to Vegas before they start their last semester at college. Here they meet with Matthew and his friends who are celebrating the upcoming wedding of one of his friends. I loved how quickly their friends clicked, while their relationship took a bit more time to settle.
The first part seemed a bit rushed, but either way I still enjoyed it. I totally adored their relationship. They are so cute together.
I liked the other characters too, but I'm curious about Knox's story. If you read the book, you know what I'm talking about. At the time I'm writing the review, Celina already posted about his book, the curiosity is even bigger that it was when I was reading the book.
Thank you Celina for the opportunity to read this amazing book in exchange for an honest review.
