War Memorabilia

Rate this book
“I was an ex-British Royal Marine and an ex-professional boxer. My life had spiralled so out of control that I was pretty much an ex-everything.
I was trying to get my life and my head back together working as a lowly barman in my Uncle’s pub in London. Living one day at a time and putting my past behind me helped ease the mental anguish, which had previously burned me up and spat me out as a wreck of a man.
On a rare night out with an old friend of mine, he revealed how he was involved with the buying and selling of war memorabilia, making some decent money in the process. We went our separate ways, vowing to meet up again soon.
I received a surprise visitor at the pub a few days later. My friend’s wife arrived in a distraught state, telling me how her husband had gone missing in the Ukraine. She begged me to accompany her to go looking for my mate. I reluctantly agreed to travel to Eastern Europe with her and soon after we touched down, our troubles began.”

Nick Swift is an ex-Royal Marine and an ex-professional boxer. Living the quiet life after fame and glory have long since receded, he is sucked into the seedy underworld of drug smuggling and murder across the Ukraine. The quest for a long hidden artefact, looted during World War Two, leads Swift to the caves of the Crimea, which harbour a terrifying secret.
