"I can't remember to forget you" is an immersive journey through the realm of poetry, delving deep into the tumultuous landscape of emotions experienced during a breakup. From the initial shock and indescribable pain to the arduous quest for closure, these poetic verses serve as a guiding light, reminding readers that they are not alone in their heartache. Just as the ocean's tides ebb and flow, so do our feelings, and this collection captures the essence of that natural rhythm. It offers solace and reassurance, like a gentle breeze that whispers, "You will heal, and you will rise again." Through poignant words and evocative imagery, "I can't remember to forget you" weaves together a tapestry of shared experiences, reminding us that the journey towards healing is universal and that, in the vast expanse of human emotion, we are never truly alone.
Though the preface speaks about it being a picture of femininity. This is actually just a very good picture of a breakup. The extra white space on each page lends itself well to journaling or editing to better deal with the emotions of the reader. Well I certainly can't agree with everything written in the book it would be useful to use in an exercise of journaling while working through emotions.
This book is a quick read, yet it resonates deeply on an emotional level. It is truly heartwarming, filled with healing words that seem to reach out and touch the soul. I absolutely love it; the narrative spoke to me in a way that made me feel uplifted and embraced in the warmth of love. It left me with a sense of peace and connection, reminding me of the beauty in love’s gaze.
I didn’t realise this was about breaking up with someone, however it is still beautifully written and has some lovely messages about healing, not just in regard to romantic love.
