Seven Reasons Why Christian Patriots Should Give Libertarianism a 2nd Look

In this 34 page booklet (a significant expansion of the original 14 page article,) Christian preacher and patriot, Gordan Runyan examines libertarian political philosophy in light of the Bible. Runyan is a former Republican Party County Chairman and past member of the GOP State Central Committee in New Mexico. He now considers himself a Christian LIbertarian, precisely because he sees the Bible's teaching on civil government leading in that direction. The Ron Paul 2012 campaign is over. But only a fool would ignore its impact. Libertarians are often dismissed as rope-smoking peace-niks, who would like to see gay marriage and legal prostitution. That, however, is a mainstream media-influenced, knee-jerk reaction. It is not founded on knowledge. Bring forward those among the Founders who fought for the Bill of Rights, and authored the Anti-Federalist papers, and you'd have to label them Libertarians in modern language. It's high time Americans, and especially Christian patriots, were re-introduced to that way of thinking. Are libertarian principles opposed to the principles of God's law, as set forth in the Bible? Can a conservative Christian lean libertarian in his thinking without compromising the faith, or the Word of God? This booklet will give some insight into the answers to these and other questions concerning libertarian principles. Included as an appendix in this second edition is the manuscript of Gordan Runyan's address to the elected officials and interested citizens of the State of Montana, in the annual Election Day Sermon, preached from the rotunda of the capitol building. It is titled, "The Inescapable Authority of King Jesus." Our government has become a bunch of untouchable bullies, and it seems like most of the electorate could care less what makes for true liberty, and tyranny. My friends, these things ought not be. Gordan Runyan is a husband, father, Christian, Reformed Baptist, pastor, war veteran (having served in the Navy's nuclear submarine fleet during the first Persian Gulf war,) author, teacher, and Paleo-Patriot.

He has been married to the former Miss Joyce Martinez for 27 years, since the day she reluctantly agreed to the arrangement in exchange for his daring rescue of her life, which included grand heroics he's too modest to relate in public (although a dungeon in an enchanted sea-side castle is rumored to have been involved.)

They have three lovely and talented daughters who survived homeschooling with only slight nervous disorders.

Very good!

I am not a libertarian yet but I am leaning more that way after these well thought biblical arguments. Highly recommend!
