I sought this book out at a time when I wanted to know all I was capable of. My focus was moreso on becoming in touch with the unseen forces around me- without being a witch or soothsayer. In my quest, I kept hearing that I would have to be able to quiet my mind and body to tap into "psychic" powers. This book takes you there, teaching you to acknowledge all your limbs with your mind. Readers can learn to trigger those zones on and off and ultimately focus them during bonding with your mate.
I hope this doesn't sound easy. Honestly, if you do not have the fortitude to do some exercise, you may want to practice some low impact activities a couple of days/ngihts before beginning these exercises. If you truly dive in, and do the exercises as the book instructs, it will burn a lot of energy the first few times. Allow yourself days to repeat some of the more complex activities, build up to the ones done with a partner.
I highly recommend this book to those who have tried a bit of yoga, meditation, pilates or tantra, and wanted to go further. Be willing to purify your diet and listen to your body during and after these activities. Be willing to sweat and get dirty. And most of all, do not share the more involved couples routines with anyone you do not wish to be closer to. These bonds should not be made between a person and many people. Conversely, if you are shallow at heart, and find you can not take it seriously as you do it, close the book, put out the incense, put the lid back on the oil bottle and just do some Wii fit exercises. {because you are clearly not ready}

Transformational, inspirational, and spot on, perfectly, every time. Even if you don't have a spouse or partner, you can benefit from this. This is a book you can live and love with for the rest of your life.

AS a aspiring Tantra Teacher of this lineage, I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking more basic knowledge about Left Hand Tantra or, information on where to learn Cobra Breath. Loved this introductory piece. I frequently reference it in my Practice.

I may come back to this because there are many practices in this book that I haven’t had a chance to explore yet, and so maybe that would change my rating.

Enjoyed reading this book and it definitely has information that resonated with me, but had to take it with many grains of salt. You also need a pretty substantial foundation of knowledge in this realm of practice to understand the book, which they at least disclaim in the beginning, but still good to note.

With books like these about more esoteric systems, I think it’s hard for me to get on board with pretty intense claims with nothing to back it. I’m not saying everything needs to be scientifically proven, but there was many points in the book that said something about how doing a practice even one time could lead to enlightenment, or how you would experience supernatural powers after doing a practice for a week. As a woo woo gal, I don’t even necessarily think that’s untrue, but just highly unlikely, where this book felt like it really wanted you to just take it’s word at face value. But maybe it’s just my preference for a more western lens (i.e. instead of saying a practice will achieve “clairvoyance”, I’d prefer “clear seeing”)

Also had many plugs to take further courses or visit their website throughout the book?? Weird vibes.

Still think it has some potent information and interesting practices but it definitely requires reading through the lines and a lot of taking what serves you and leaving the rest. Would not recommend this book to most people.

A completely different view on sexuality than mainstream culture and media.
Due to this, the hardest part is finding a partner to practice with.
However, many exercises, if not all can be done alone. This does not have to be a problem if the aim of one's spiritual path is to become detached from particular forms and liberate consciousness

Kind of hippy, but great illustrations, insights, and practical work for Tantric lovers.
