Tracee brings us a fresh story that will have you hooked from the very beginning! If you are tired of reading the same stories, this is like a breath of fresh air. Tracee brought her A game with this one- Author LaShonda DeVaughn If your significant other asked you to switch places with another couple for a week, would you do it? That's exactly what Steve and Lauren were confronted with from their spouses. Steve is married to Shyana whose mantra is "a good man takes care of his wife by any means necessary" and she means it. While Steve works hard to provide for him and his wife, Shayna spends the money just as fast as he can bring it in. The problem is, she finds herself on a quest to find a man who can support her better than her husband. Across town is Kyle and Lauren. From the outside looking in, they are the perfect couple. Nice large home, expensive cars, owners of Detroit's hottest soul food restaurants and money to burn. Behind closed doors, Lauren is very unhappy with her marriage. Kyle went from the doting husband to an arrogant womanizer who believes that just because he provides a great living for his wife, he doesn't need to do anything else. Kyle thinks that Lauren is unappreciative and sets his sights on women that can stroke his ego amongst other things. A radio station in Detroit holds a wife swap contest and Shayna, seeking better than her husband, enters the contest and so does Kyle who believes there are plenty of women out there that would love to be in his ungrateful wife's position. Find out what happens when these two couples switch spouses for a week. There will be drama, lies, deceit, self-reflection and ultimately their love will be tested. Is the grass really greener on the other side or do you have to fertilize what you already have and be content? Would you rather be broke but have true love or be rich and have an empty relationship? If you thought you found a mate better than your husband or wife would you walk away? Do you think you could marry someone just for security and try to learn to love them? All of these questions will be answered in "Married but Available.

Tracee Boyd Pratt is a new author trying to make her name out there with her debut novel Married But Available. Married But Available takes you on a journey of two married couples, both living in a not so happy marriage. Both couples appear to be having sever marital issues that are starting to tear their marriages apart. When one member of each couple suggests swaping partners with another married couple because it will be the only way to keep their marriages together, what can the other spouce do but agree. The story starts off with Lauren who is married to Kyle, from the outside looking in they appear to be living the life most people dream of, fancy clothes, fancy cars and can dine out anywhere they want, but as the saying goes... everything that glitters aint gold. While Lauren wanst to live one kind of lifestyle, Kyle feels all she does is nags and should be appreciative of what she has now. Will the wife swap make Kyle realize he has a good wife at home and make Lauren see that she's living the "good" life? Or will this change them for the worse?

Steve and Shyana are the other couple, who wife swap with Laren and Kyle. Shyana feels that any man thats her man should be appreciative just because of that and should be willing to take care of her by ANY means necessary. She feels that her husband should be honored to be with her and if he cant see that and take care of her the way she feels she should be taken care of then she will do anything to find someone who can. Steve on the other hand is a regular guy who does what he can to please his wife, but his best just never seems good enough for a person like Shyana. He works an honest living and makes sure they are comfortable in their home, but thats not good enough for Shyana. Will there week apart make Shyana realize she has the man of her dreams at home or will Steve realize hes beating a dead horse when it comes to his wife?

I enjoyed this story, it was fast paced, it was well thought out and could tell the author took time in writing this. I've seen a few reviews describe this book as another but since I havent read that book I will say this was a good read. The author wrote the book you were able to get a feel for both couples and a better since of who they were. There were so many lies in this story with some of the characters that you couldnt help but to feel sorry for them. This book lets people know the grass may seem greener on the other side but at times its no where near as green as it is on your side, I think thats a lesson the characters had to learn on their own and some people should read in real life to learn also.

I would love to see a spin off from this book not really a part 2 but maybe a spin off.

Couples Lauren & Kyle and Shayna & Steve signed up to be a part of a Wife Swap radio contest. Lauren is tired of Kyle thinking that just because he provides for her that she should be happy. Kyle recommends the contest hoping to show Lauren how good she has it. Shayna wants to be nothing more than a kept woman and Steve just can't provide for her like she wants him to. During the switch Shayna sets her hooks into Kyle and she feels that she is the woman for him and not Lauren. What will it take for these couples to see that the grass isn't always greener on the other side?

Married but Available by Tracee Boyd Pratt was a very good read. All the drama that unfolded with this couple really kept me entertained, and any time you have a crazy character I am hooked. There were some editing issues; however, they didn't take away from the story. I do wish that Pratt would have made developed the ending a little better. It was almost rushed, leaving the reader wondering a few things about the characters endings. I recommend this book and looking forward to reading more from this author.

A story about a Wife Swap that went terribly wrong, or did it? It helped one man realise that the woman he was married to was very high on maintenance, but low on home training. She had no idea what a good man looked like because her life was fueled by having the finer things in life, no matter the cost.

It just goes to show you that you don't allow the devil into your home without knowing the consequences of that action. Women can be scandalous; read this book and you will know what I mean about allowing the enemy/devil near your man.

I would have given it more stars if it was a clean book, meaning error free or at least less errors than it had.

I thought this book was pretty good...but it reminded me of kiki Swinson "Wife Extraordinaire"....so I kind of already had an idea of what would happen...I did enjoy the twist that she put on her book tho...the ending was a bit rushed for me...I was hoping to find out what she was gonna do once she caught her husband...and see if there was a chance with the other guy....I kind of wanted to see how far that other chick would go too...but other that I look forward to reading more by Tracee Boyd...

I have to say this is one of the best books I have ever read in my whole life I literally couldn't put it down . If you like books that can somehow be related to tv you gotta read this one. This is definitely a five star book though you'll have to ignore some of the spelling errors that is the only downside to the book

Although a little predictable, this was a very good book. I was irritated by the grammatical errors. I definitely would have given it 3 stars if not for the mistakes.

This book is has an interesting twist. There are a lot of grammatical errors that need to be corrected. I enjoyed the read. I read her books out of sequence. Read this book first.
