Dr. Sean McDowell is a gifted communicator with a passion for equipping the church, and in particular young people, to make the case for the Christian faith. He connects with audiences in a tangible way through humor and stories while imparting hard evidence and logical support for viewing all areas of life through a Biblical worldview. Sean is an Assistant Professor in the Christian Apologetics program at Biola University.

Sean still teaches one high school Bible class, which helps give him exceptional insight into the prevailing culture so he can impart his observations poignantly to fellow educators, pastors, and parents alike.

If u want multiple moral lessons or have questions about ethnicity, this book is highly recommended for you especially teenagers. To see and comprehend the compatibility between God and morality, it helps u to answer all the personal questions which u might struggle with. As I said, highly recommended ❤️❤️

This was a really good apologetics book that gave me clarity about a lot of my beliefs and gave lots of good information to use in defense of my faith. Full review will be up on my blog.

Me l'ha prestat una alumna. Reflexions sobre prendre decisions en la societat actual. Un poc (molt) desfasat, però amb algunes idees interessants per a la seua edat.

I went to attend Summit Ministries in Manitou Springs, CO the last two weeks of August, and I heard Dr. Sean McDowell speak for almost a solid day. He is in my top three favorite speakers that I heard there. His book "Ethix" is a very good overview of what he spoke on, plus some other material that he didn't speak on. The topics range from same-sex marriage versus traditional marriage, to how you should decide what to do with your life. It was definitely worth reading it. I highly recommend that any and every one should read this book.

I bought this book a couple years ago and even used some of the content for a youth lesson. I really enjoyed the book and all the Biblical references and the great research done too! I hope to use more of this book for future youth lessons! I have read Sean McDowell's dad Josh's writing and they truly are men of God.

This one was a good read even for a person who has studied apologetics and ethics etc. It is for teenagers/young people which is why it's supposed to be the basics (and it is); I think it covers all the basic stuff and explains them well (good illustrations). Plus good graphics. I'll definitely use this book when I prepare sermons and teachings for youth nights.

The few that I given to youth have high reviews. Simple. Easy to read and yet very direct.

3.5 stars [Ethics]
Writing: 2.75. Use: 3.5. Truth: 4.
A fairly good book on ethics. Geared toward high school. Much bolder truth than normal. I used it to teach a high school ethics class, and it was fairly well received.
The binding is bad though. Pages fell out from several parts of the book!
