Oh my. This was not at all what I expected. It was so good. Rose was the main character. She was living with Miranda and Amelia. Miranda was married to Keith who passed away in a car accident. Miranda was not her real mother. She found her wandering alone at 2 years old and took her back to her house. When Rose was almost done with high school one of her classmates was picking her up for school but she was shocked to see him because they didn’t get along. He and his friends always bullied her. She allowed him to take her to school. She ended up getting sick in her class and passed out. When she came to the classmate Adrian who brought her to school took her to the nurses office. She was sent home. Adrian drove her home and Miranda was there and shocked to see her. Rose planned to leave town when she turned 18. But something happened and she decided to leave early. She stopped at a park and she was taken. When she came to she was reunited with someone from her past that she didn’t think she would see again. She met a few guys Michael and Brandon who helped her. Brandon and Rose left and they met Marg and Carl. They were great people. There were a lot of events after this. The book ended on a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

This author is new to me, and this is my first read by her and it won't be my last. I loved it. Once I started I just couldn't put it down.

It has me hooked from the start. Such an emotional rollercoaster ride with twists and turns. It's action packed with so much. What a great start to a new series.

The storyline, plot and characters where written wonderfully. I can't wait to see what the author does next. Highly recommend!

I actually found about this book from Megan herself when she purchased something from me off of Facebook marketplace and I’m so glad we got to connect! I am all for supporting independent authors and this book was such a fun little read! The premise was super interesting and it was overall very captivating. I did have a little bit of issue with some of the editing and wording but that could also just be the writing style that I’m not used to! Definitely a book to check out!

Fast Paced, Amazing Read!



Rose has a gift that others want to use and manipulate but all she wants is to find herself. She tries to set off to do this but unfortunately doesn’t get too far. Through her journey she meets Brandon and the sparks fly. This book has twists and turns and doesn’t disappoint. I can’t wait for the next in the series!

This is a new to me author and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It’s fast paced and chock full of action. I was reeled in from the first chapter. I loved the world that Megan Cowell created and I cannot wait to read more in this series

Rose

It was a great book to get the series started. A lot of love and connection and growing happens in this book. The chemistry between Rose and Brandon was great. I also felt like it ended on a good note.

Wow what a book. Rose is very special. Love her. Lots of twist and turns. Not everything is as it seems. Lots of moving parts to this book that it keeps you hooked beginning to end. That cliffhanger I’m ready to read book 2 asap. Definitely watch for triggers.
