Extremely well researched and presented. The suggested readings list is quite impressive. That I liked the most was that the book was straight-forward and simple to understand. There was no argument or polemic attitude apparent. The author speaks with some authority in that he highlights compelling personal experiences. The best part was the explanation of the Great Apostasy - masterfully done. I would highly recommend this book for anyone interested in what non-Mormon's (not just anti-Mormons) typically think or say about LDS doctrine.

I didn't love this book, but I learned that a lot founders of other religions had no intentions of starting a religon. They were aware of the apostacy and were trying to keep religion pure and more like Christ's...this includes Martin Luther of the Lutheran Church, the guy that founded the Baptist church, and others.

This book is specifically a response to anti-Mormon literature. Not having much experience with that, I'm sure it did not resonate as much for me as it could have. However, it does give good information, and although it is older, I believe it is still current, and would work well for someone concerned about that type of literature.

Solid, straightforward apologetics for common anti-Mormon claims. The author is a convert who studied Mormonism for awhile before joining himself and saw a need to fill for potential investigators and members alike.
