As someone who facilitates workshops and team-building sessions, I thought this was a practical and accessible book for managers and leaders who either have no experience or some experience facilitating. The book is structured around identifying the problem -- such as too many meetings with no purpose and low engagement and how to evolve to creating a workshop culture where collaboration is increased and teams are high performing. She introduces a framework that outlines alignment, cohesion, communication, designing ways of working and change and continuous improvement. Each chapter lists learning outcomes, a "try this" section to apply immediately as well as key takeaways. She also uses case studies and reflection exercises throughout. I recommend this book to all leaders who want to increase their team effectiveness.

Thank you to Netgalley and Practical Inspiration Publishing for an ARC and I voluntarily left this review.

From the very beginning, this book is all about teams, communication and collaboration. I loved that. I was looking for a book on how to increase productivity at the workplace and instead came across one that reminded me of how to engage people, first as people and on their ideas and also what conflict is and how to be a better facilitator.
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC, this is for anyone who wants better for their workplace.
