SMH, readers....with each story, I am thinking about how sexy Tennessee looms large with all the characters in each selection. I am on my way to see about Tennessee, are you all coming? At first, I thought I needed to box Coach T for his salacious attitude towards Wendi. I liked that Wendi did not accept his nonchalance and went on with little care for his tantrums. Kids in a story, teenagers included, gives me good vibes... You know grinning for no reason. Yamaya was a good kid vibe. The story was good, sweet, and a lovely read.
One night stand turned into a relationship with love, happiness and support. Wendi was the type of woman I love to read about. She held her own, communicated effectively and was compassionate and understanding. I really felt for Torian, the losses were too much. Thankfully he was able to change the course he was going with support, taking accountability and then taking the action needed. I loved that Torian and Wendi were able to build their relationship, and that sexual chemistry translated and mirrored elsewhere. They were right for each other at the right time. Now that ending was sweet, beautiful blending of the family. PS: Loved that secret was prolonged, the pacing was on point.
Ms. Monae came all the way through with this one. This is one of those books that not only demonstrate love but healing as well. Torian needed healing more than anything else in his life. The mere fact he was trying to solve his problems from the bottom of a bottle was the telltale sign. His and Wendi's "relationship" wasn't ideal but it was needed in his life. Their carelessness led to a life full of love, happiness, and a family. Yamaya got a double dose of love because Torian was her coach and stepfather. I loved Yamaya because she was all about basketball and baby Yam. It was cute when she thought the baby's name could be Yam. This is another magnificent read in this series. This book portrays that true love can happen in the most inopportune time. Grab your copy today so you can take this journey with Torian and Wendi. You will be highly engaged.
A hot drunk semi forgotten one night stand. Wendi was just what Torian needed. Torian struggling with the loss of his child and marriage really made me tear up for a moment. Wendi was literally the best unproblematic character ever , so chill and easy going loved her . I’m glad they didn’t rush to marriage even with everything going on . Great read.
This was a cute story and I enjoyed reading it. Torian was struggling with grief and depression and it took some tough love from his friends, his mother and Wendi to let him know he was messing up badly. I was pleased that he was able to redeem himself and I loved that Wendi had such a forgiving heart while not allowing for Torian’s mess to slide. Wendi was a very likable character and so was Torian despite his faults. I also like Yamaya. She was a sweetheart and very mature for her age. This was a good read and a good addition to this series.
Monae, good read. Seeing Torene go through such a rough time in his life, he didn't have much to have of a decent life. Doing out the way things he did, the last thing he would think, which turned into something that will last a lifetime. Wendi had no idea a chance meeting would change her life in a way she never thought. T didn't realize he would need Wendi in the way he did. Their journey wasn't an easy one, but it was well worth it. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
This story was really good! I love that Wendi believes in second chances and she was able to forgive Torian for his antics. I glad that Torian was able to admit he needed help with his drinking. I believe going to AA meetings really show Wendi and his family that he really was ready to change. I like that he apologized to his ex-wife Nicki, it showed growth and healing with moving on.
This was a great redemption love story. Torian was heading down such a destructive path dealing with loss and grief. Wendi entering his life in an unorthodox way allowed home to come to terms with his past and focus on his future. This was well written love story that really makes you root for Wendi and Torian
Only Love I’ve Known (The Tennessee Whiskey Series Book 13)
This book was written beautifully. It most definitely was a Great Read it gave us anger, hurt, grief, pain and redemption and passionate love scenes, and forgiveness. We are giving a lot of hope in this book and new beginnings. Great penmanship Monae Nicole.
Torian needed that one night stand with Wendi. It helped him face reality of what his life was becoming. Although he went through some rough times, she made it back into his life. Their love and chemistry helped him get through life as a better man. Awesome read!
Poor Torian but he had me looking at him sideways a little but he redeemed himself. Wendi was sweet and had patience out this world 🤣. Great flow this book will keep your attention, I am glad even though both parties were stubborn they got their stuff together.
ummm...the book got the point across. It was sweet. Other than Torian being a jerk in the beginning it was uneventful I guess I'm a live action kind of girl. He apologized, they dated and then had the baby. I literally didn't get anything out of this book.

I love me a good one nightstand with a baby! My heart went out to the guy he was soooo broken and lost! God just gives us what we need even when we don’t see it coming
Listen, Torian was about to have to shoot me my one. I totally get why he was over the edge though. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Him and Wendi were the cutest though. I loved her last date night.
Loved me some Torian and Wendi. Torian had a tough beginning but it was to be expected. Once he had something to fight for things changed and it only got better.
I really enjoy this book. I was so happy when Torian gotten himself together to be there for his baby. I love the relationship between him and Wendi. It good to see got a second chance.
My heart broke for T and Nicki. Grief has away of pulling up a part. I’m happy they both were able to find love with others. Wendi was just the what needed T needed.
Who know you could find your forever after a one night stand. Single mother looks for fun one night and a newly divorced man going through some emotions, enjoy each other for one night. The outcome is remarkable.
