This is a dark romance. Some scenes may trigger certain people.
You ever do something so stupid you regret it immediately after? It tilts your world so far off its already skewed axis, there’s no coming back from it. That’s me. The moment my lips left Olivia Banks; I knew it was a mistake. I knew she was a mistake. The sassy blonde goddess with invisible tentacles, laced in temptation. She’ll remain eye-candy for someone like me. A ruthless killer, forged from evil, with a black heart that bleeds pain. I don’t do weak and I sure as hell don’t do women more than once. I’ll resist her. I will. I must.
That kiss. It still keeps me up at night. It still leaves a path of tingles up my spine. The moment I locked lips with the devil. A cold-hearted, hostile man, dipped in the finest chocolate, he’s hard to resist. And after one taste, I’m hooked. That’s the thing about addiction. You know it’s bad for you, but you chase the high anyway. And I want more. Even though I know this drug will utterly destroy me.

This is the first book by this author that I’ve read but it will not be the last. I’ll now have to start at the first book to really understand the characters. I only put this down when I had to go out. This book has love action and murder. I received an ARC for an honest review which I have given
What a wild ride this was!! I loved Olivia when I met her in Crow…so happy she got her own book! Blade and Olivia’s story was definitely one heck of a rollercoaster…and I loved every second of it! I really didn’t think Blade had a shred of humanity in him…I loved seeing his layers peeled back. And of course I was thrilled to see Ari & Crow!! Highly recommend this book!!
This is the 3rd book in the Crow series and what a wild ride it was! This is the story of Olivia and Blade who we meet in the previous 3 books. Olive is a feisty, no-nonsense woman, Blade is a cold-hearted, no feelings killer. The passion and chemistry between these was so HOT!!! They knew they were wrong for each other but were drawn to each other like a moth to a flame. I definitely shouldn’t have loved Blade as much as I did but that man had me hooked from the get go. Olivia was perfect for Blade and seeing him come to realise and work out his feelings was an absolute pleasure to read cause if there’s ever a man that deserves his HEA it’s this man. I loved the way Olivia never backed down to him and she was so strong throughout the whole book! This book was a joy to read and I finished it one one go as I couldn’t put it down. Another great read from Amanda Mackey and I can’t wait to see what she reads next!
Olivia is a force, and the only woman who could ever tame Blade. He goes hard after anyone who harms innocents.
There’s a lot of action in this book. Some is pretty violent, but it’s what’s expected from the brothers. It was nice to see a somewhat softer side to Blade, even though he will always be intense. Glad to see a happy ending for both brothers.
Olivia and Blade knew they were bad for each other but they felt so good together too, drawn like a moth to the flame, just how will their story go? Well written engaging dark themes desires, drama and more.
