The author did an amazing job with the second book in The Hybrid Series. She gave Rowan’s character much more depth, which actually made me start to warm up to him. In the first book, I saw him mostly as eye candy—there was a lot of talk about his abs, but not much substance. This time, he felt more real and layered, and his development added so much to the story.
I also loved the author’s introduction of a new character. Without giving away any spoilers, I’ll just say she gives a clever and fun nod to Utah through this character, which I really appreciated.
