Three Chimpanzees

Rate this book
The "Three Chimpanzees" is a delightful little short story for children's bedtime reading derived from the "Three Bears". It is modernized and made even more kind and sensitive by author Guy Foster. Using terms like 'a timeout', 'video game' and 'television' will help your child better relate to the story of these three little chimp brothers named Zeek, Oscar and Otis. Where the Three Bears ended, this story continues and illustrates a remarkable generosity and love for the smallest of these three brothers. Here is a sample; the opening of the story: "There were once three chimpanzees that lived together in a little cage in the middle of the zoo. One of them was a Little, Small, Wee Chimpanzee named Zeek; one was a Middle-Sized Chimpanzee named Oscar; and the other was a Great, Huge Chimpanzee named Otis, who was almost as big as a grown Ape. Each evening they received a pot to eat their dinner from: a little pot for the Little, Small, Wee Chimp named Zeek; a middle-sized pot for the Middle-Sized Chimp named Oscar; and a great big pot for the Great, Huge chimp named Otis. After all, Otis needed a big pot since he...." (the story goes on in the most delightful way and is suitable for children of every age). The purpose of developing this version of the story was to give our children quality bedtime stories that cause no fear or worry, with happy and kind endings. Watch for more quality bedtime stories by author Guy Foster coming very soon.
