"This is one of those books that you beg your best friend to read because you have to have someone to laugh with. This book has everything ... humor, great characters, and hot sex!" Bobbie Jo, Two Crazy Girls with a Passion for Books
Peaches Monroe is a curvy blonde who manages a little bookstore, in a small town in Washington State. She's twenty-two, and shares a house with her cousin, who's also her best friend. Life is good for Peaches. Simple, but good. Sometimes she gets a little wild and goes drunk-shopping on the internet. She's never had a boyfriend, but that just leaves more time for her books.
Dalton Deangelo is a hot, young actor who sets ladies' hearts on fire.
He shot to stardom from out of nowhere, and he's very secretive about his past, preferring to focus on his work. He's famous for playing the sexiest bad boy vampire on TV. Week after week, he's seen kissing beautiful, thin actresses ... or burying his face between their legs.
Now Dalton is in Beaverdale, Washington, to shoot an indie movie over the summer. He comes running into the bookstore looking for a place to hide from reporters, and refuses to leave until he gets a date with Peaches.
As soon as Peaches kisses Dalton, her quiet, small-town life begins to unravel.
Peaches Monroe is launched toward the stars, beginning with a job in LA as a plus-size model for a line of sexy underwear.
Her relationship with Dalton has its obstacles, and she finds herself entangled not just with Dalton, but with a passionate male underwear model named Keith Raven, as well as an old crush from her past, Adrian Storm.
Life has become anything but simple for Peaches Monroe. Will her summer end in a wedding? And if so, who will be the groom?

At times I absolutely loved Peaches. She was funny and real and completely unique as a female lead. And then at other times she made me want to SCREAM!!!
Why was she off sleeping with every single guy that gave her attention? And they were all hopelessly in love with her? She drove me crazy with this stuff.
I loved Dalton in the first book, but then not really again until the end. I wanted more of him.
Loved the Red Head series (sexy and funny) and was hoping this would be similar.
I was sadly proven wrong. Although I wanted to really like Peaches, I just could not do it. She is shallow and just not the heroin the writer is trying to portray. I began to want the men in her life to dump her, because she was annoying me.
Love the fact that Peaches is a bigger girl, but the writer does not have to remind us on every page. We get it, she is Plus Size, who cares. Get on with the character building, and plot.
I could not even finish the trilogy. Read the first 2 and started the third, but just did not care enough about any of the characters to continue to read. This is the first time I have EVER done this, so that is telling you something.
Another book I found via an ad in my Facebook feed, and one I enjoyed a lot more than the others. It was great to read a romance where the main character is not a twig and is happy with her body. And it was great to have several men in the story find her very attractive. I would love to see more pop culture that embraced more realistic images of women.
That out of the way the book was a fun read. Peaches is sassy and funny, and has a great heart in addition to being a looker. And the men that are interested in her were a dreamy selection to read about. The side characters from small town to LA are great, and so much fun in the story. It was a light fun read, and who can't use an escape into a book that offers the chance for every ones' dreams to come true?
What an awesome, sexy, HOT, hilarious read. This is a must read series about Peaches Monroe, a bigger girl with lots of spunk and a smart, witty mouth. You never know what she's going to say or do. She has a tough decision to make about who she loves and wants to be with and there are 3 guys who all have a piece of her. I didn't really know for sure what she was going to decide until the middle to end of the third book. She will keep you guessing for sure. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.
So I read these books back when they first came out and gave it 4 or 5 stars. Well I saw this bundle the other day and wanted a re-read(since I like it so much the first time) well I really didnt like it . IDK but this time around I would go 2.5 or 3 stars. Peaches got on my nerves...Yes2h she was funny and smart but also she was really immature and ran when it got too "real". Also the whole trip to Hollywood was messed up. She Over redacted about the scrip and the lines.
There’s nothing I dislike more than to get to the end of a book only to find that there’s no end. The author has stuck you with a cliffhanger, meaning it’s going to cost more money to purchase another just so you know what happens. I very seldom fall into line to give the author the desired result. That being said, the Peaches Monroe series made me break my rule. Mimi Strong has developed a character that is captivating and unforgettable, and I could not get enough. Yes, I’ve read all three books in the series and loved every one of them. Peaches manages to get herself into all sorts pickles because she has no concept of think before you speak. I never once doubted that Peaches and Dalton would be together, although I do not envision smooth sailing for either of them. No matter – if you like a good sexy romance with a lot of laughs, you won’t want to pass up Peaches Monroe. Even though this series could use some serious editing, I muddled through because the story line is so good. I read these books separately, but it's easier to review as a set.
I really really wanted to like this trilogy but I just struggled to get through it.
I really wanted to like Peaches. She was a funny, smart, quick witted girl who was comfortable in her own curvy skin, and some of the one liners had me laughing out loud. But, she was just so so shallow. Whenever a guy showed her the least bit of interest she just jumped on into the sack with them, and she had no regard for their feelings! Guys have feelings too! I felt like she used Adrian and Keith without ever acknowledging their feelings for her.
I also didn’t buy Dalton and Peaches falling in love. It seemed like they had sex a bunch of times, had an argument and then decided to get married. What?!?!?
I loved the 1st book so much, reviewed separately!! 2nd&3rd, not so much... WOW... there were parts that I loved, parts that made me laugh and then cry... I get the insecurities, and thought the first book was very relatable...BUT...books 2 and 3 really pushed into teenage/juvenile angst zone a bit to far for my taste. I found the long periods of not speaking to one another really strange considering the fact they have cell phones. I really didn't care for her hopping from one bed to the next... I get it, she is young and they gorgeous, but seriously and especially after having a teenager pregnancy.
I previously downloaded and reviewed the first one. Okay I was shocked at how the other books turned out. Not sure if I was forewarned I would have purchased and read other books. Spoiler I was pissed that she turned to others. As well as telling some about Kyle and not others. Not to mention small town and secret like that NEVER would have been kept hidden. (Not to mention I believe her parents would have convinced her to pump, surprised it was child of abuse, since she acted like victim) didn’t believe she would have not confronted him about script. Overall loved characters but not all plot twists. Ending was great,
Quite a life Peaches led. I felt sorry for Adrian, but knew early on that Peaches was head over heels for Dalton. She sure got around in between, and had such a big heart and truly had feelings for all her men. However, Dalton was always in her mind and heart. I loved Mitchell, he was such a good friend to Peaches. I laughed so much reading her story, Great Book!
Great read. Peaches Monroe is a BBW who gets addicted to three Gorgeous men. First there the actor Dalton whom she cannot get enough of. Then there's the model Keith whom looks almost exactly like Dalton, and last but not least Adrian her high school crush. What's a girl to do? Need to read
Ok this series was bad. I kinda hated it. It started out good. Peaches is hilarious but as soon as she started having sex with other people my enchantment with her was ruined. I have no idea why dalton was so understanding. Sex wasn’t that hot. Skip it.
OMG! I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. These books are great! You will fall in love with the heroine and the antics she falls into. All three books are on my to reread list this summer. I hope the author continues on with the series!
This is the first time I have read anything from this author. When I first read what this book was about I must not have been really paying attention. I thought this was going to be three books telling the story about Peaches and Dalton. Let me just say, this is not necessarily true. There are three main male characters in this series. I have to say I was rooting for each man as I was learning about them. The first book you get to know Dalton, the second book you learn about Keith and the third you get to know Adrian more, you are introduced to him in the first book. Now don't get me wrong, Dalton pops up in the second book some and he is definitely in the last book. I really wondered how this story would wrap up. I was at 90% and still had so many questions. Here is a spoiler so read this part only if you want. I really liked Keith, I thought that they were really good for each other and he was such a sweet guy!! I also really liked Adrian, he seemed to really have feelings for Peaches. Through most of this series I just really had no idea if Dalton's feeling were real or not. He did not really open up a lot on how he felt. Then with what happened in the beginning of the second book, I just didn't know if he was trustworthy. The author did such a good with these men you feel bad for the ones who did not end up with Peaches. I would love for her to write a book from Dalton's point of view. It would really clear a lot of things up. I would also like for her to write some companion books on some of the other characters such as Keith and Adrian. I really want to know that they get their happily ever after. I have mixed feelings on this book. I liked it but then I didn't. When you introduce three (maybe 2 1/2, I'm still not completely sold on Dalton) great guys and only one is going to get the girl you feel bad for the other two.
SHUT THE FRONT DOOR and put a DO NOT DISTURB sign on your door! You will not want to drop this trilogy until you are done. So take a weekend, and stay in your PJs and snuggle with Peaches Monroe's story.
This is an amazing story. Once again, Mimi Strong has written a story full of romance, HOT scenes and mischief worth her amazing writing style. Laughter and HOT scenes, what more can you ask for?
Peaches symbolizes for me the potential every woman has. No matter how curvy, we all have an innate charm and wit that leads us through life and happiness. Hers is a wonderful story of embracing life and seizing the day.
Being pursued by three handsome me (Keith, Adrian and Dalton)you will be begging her for a final decision and cheering for one of these handsome guys. Not until the very end do you know who it will be. She manages her life and makes her choices in her unique Peaches' way. If I sound like I am gushing, yes, I am guilty. I am a fan. I love the writing style, the fun I experience reading these stories, and the frank laughter that I cannot control while reading these pages. Prepare yourselves for a joy ride you will not soon forget!
...and yes, I did received an ARC from the author for my honest review. If you check my reviews, I do not give 5 stars lightly. These stars are well deserved!
I'm giving 4Stars to the entire series since I read it as one. I really did enjoy all 3 books. Peaches was something else. This woman drove me nuts, but I did come to really care about her feelings.... which I guess is the author's purpose with the series. She went from one man to another but always returned to Dalton. And speaking of Dalton, I really wanted to root for him throughout the entire series, and I did eventually, but it took a while to get there. There was a lot of his behavior that questionable but I had to keep telling myself that a)Peaches is young and insecure and b) I was experiencing her life through her words; perception is a powerful thing. With that said, I am so happy that .
Really good read. I recommend to anyone looking for a little romantic comedy to lift their spirits.
This series was such a great read. I don't know which I enjoyed more the comical, romantic, suspenseful, shocking or sexy juicy side more? I guess it would be all the above. Peaches is a strong, sexy, loving, fun and yet scared insecure young woman who finds herself after giving a portion to 3 beautiful men who adore her. She finds herself in more unbelievable situations which she of course helps create. However during this journey she discovers through not only the wonderful men , family old and new friends along with a few strangers that she has always been the person they all adore once she truly sees herself through their eyes. I was on the cusp the whole time which incredible man she would choose and I won't spoil the ending because it was simply a "Peachy" ending for Peaches Monroe. Must read!
I really wanted to love this series.. I've seen awesome reviews but yet I wanted to shake and scream at peaches at the same time.... she always seemed so fun but yet she doubted herself a lot! And for the Hermione of the story I was hoping for some self confidence at some point no matter what size she is... skinny or plus sized! There was intense sexual chemistry with Dalton in every sense the bad boy...Keith was a carefree fling with a super sensitive guy....but I can't help but wonder what if with Adrian... the underdog who I couldn't help to root for.... in the end I enjoyed the books and they are a fast read.... 5 days... I would definitely read a 4th if it came out in the series so all in all I liked them just not in love yet...
Mimi Strong has written a funny romantic erotic trilogy. I like that Petra (or Peaches) is a normal young woman with hang-ups, growing up in a small town, parents who love her, secrets to share with her friends and lovers, funny names for body parts that are so descriptive that you just have to giggle, wants to try anything and does not have a filter on her mouth which sometimes gets her in a heap of trouble. I have truly enjoyed reading this trilogy. There were times during this series that I laughed out loud, sighed, wanted to ring Peaches neck, to reach for my pom poms rooting for Peaches in different situations, wanted to grab a tissue and have a little cry, but most of all I want a friend in my life just like her or have some of her zest for life myself.
I don't like giving this collection only 4 stars. While there were some things I loved about the books there were also things I disliked as well. I loved Peaches Monroe! She is very witty, sassy and everything you would expect from a curvy girl. These books had very lovable characters. I laughed a lot!!
The thing I didn't like or that I personally thought there was too much of was the sex scenes. I like sex just as much as the next person but I wished it would have had a little less sex and a little more story.
That being said. I love Mimi Strong and I would recommend these books if you are wanting something witty, sassy, sexy and something to make you laugh.
I am so glad that I bought this as the collection with all 3 books. I might have given up if I hadn’t. I love a romantic comedy and The Peaches Monroe qualifies as that but Peaches vacillation between Dalton, Adrian and Keith had me grinding my molars. Fortunately the fun kept me coming back for more. I loved these characters the fun they had had me laughing out loud and the love scenes kept the temperature hot (when of course I wasn’t laughing). I loved watching them all grow and learn to love and be loved. This is the first I’ve read by this author but I plan to check out her backlist very soon.
Holy Noodles in a sack of mud! DAAYYYUM! That was something, I wanted to write a review on each books but I know I couldn't, am too a chicken to remember the details and I would feel smoke in my ears if I actually put the details. If you want to feel hot, like real hot. Read it! Yeah! DAMN.
I put off reading this series for sooo long... I was so dumb. I loved this series with a capital Heart. The humor just drew me in and kept me turning the pages. Even though there were times when I wanted to throat punch Peaches and her "prone to whimsy" self, for the most part she was one of my all time favorite characters, And Mimi String has won my heart as an author. So if you're looking for a hilarious and steamy read, buy it right now!
This book would have been great if Peaches would stop making up stupid names for her vagina and for penis. I was surprised by who she ended up with at the end as I found she had more chemistry with a different person in the book. Overall the author was really good at making the reader (me) think, "Just one more chapter, then I gotta go to bed!"
I give this trilogy 2 stars for making me laugh out loud! I really don't know what to say about these books! If you want to read them BORROW them! All the characters are very immature. I skipped a lot of pages because the story line went so slow. Honestly If this trilogy hadn't made me laugh and think "I would so do that" I would of stopped reading probably by chapter 8 in book one!
I could not put this down! From the start Peaches and Dalton are electric. She manages a bookstore and he is avoiding a camera crew. There is a lot of up and down in this series. Peaches is hilarious and the stuff she says and does will keep you laughing. I would strongly suggest you read this series.
This was the first time reading from this author and was truly impressed. I thought that the story was amazing and very funny. I'm usually good at guessing twists, but found myself very surprised at a few places. It's too bad the story is done though! I am definitely going to read more from this author!
