Financial fiction.

Captivating story, but action goes on and on. If you skip five or more pages in some parts, won't miss anything. Employment data being manipulated close to 2012 elections, to boost the confidence in the economy.

Fantastic

This book was one of my favorite reads. It had so many twists and turns. The characters were well fleshed out and you really felt like they all had their own flavor. Though wall street can be a foreign concept to many people, the book did a good job of explaining things without making you feel like you were in a class. I really thought the story continued to keep you engaged and didn't drag on. Overall, it was an excellent read and I highly recommend.

Fiction....or not?

Wow! Just scary enough to make you believe it. Couldn't put it down unless I had to! Really feeds into the reality we have been living for the last ten years or so.

Amazing thriller

An amazing thriller about manipulating monthly labor data in order to boost confidence to temporarily stabilize the economy during the 2012 election. Murder, scheming, deception, compromising info, and threatening those to withhold information make up this novel. An exciting read with many interesting characters.

One of the best books I have read in years!

A great story line. There are many surprising twists and turns. Building to an unexpected ending. You are left with the feeling that our future is plotted by an oligarchy that answers to no one.

The sick thing is that if is really believable in this 2016 election cycle. The truth may indeed be stronger than fiction.

I bought this as a result of browsing on Amazon (Kindle version) and did it on the basis of the 'look inside' excerpt. My only disappointment was when it came to an end. I was expecting it be good and it far exceeded my expectations. My only surprise is that this is the only book he has written. I should add, that it was available on Amazon Kindle for the ridiculous price of £0.99p. I would have paid a lot more for this quality of writing. It reminded me of another novelist (finance guru) --- Paul E. Erdman whose novels were almost predictions of the future (sadly now passed away).

While the writing leaves some room for improvement there is an interesting plot involving manipulations of federal labor unemployment statistics and the havoc that brings to the world economies. It made me interested in reading further about the significance of the monthly unemployment statistics.

Love the story. Unfortunalty Mr Cunningham doesn't write the sequel unlike his Wall Streeters fellow author Stephen Frey. I love Dyland character because he is not your typical Wall Streeters. Anyway, I love the mind chess banter. Really great story

Seventy five percent pretty good

Then as some time's happens the author gets tiered of being creative and rushes through the ending. I also felt that the amount of erotic was overdone and that the mention of their having a sexual activities, would have been sufficient.

An exhilarating and intriguing real world political/economic thriller with a creative and original plot. The female protagonist is especially compelling, and the male protagonist is not your typical Superman stereotype. Perfectly set up for a sequel.

Never heard of this author before, but this one was recommended by Amazon, and it was a good read. Nice combination of politics and economics. And very true to life, I imagine.

Started out strong but got a bit weak toward the end. Interesting premise for a story though.
