Overall a pretty helpful book, though it could have used some more editing. I feel like the author could have beefed it up more by adding more personal stories or stories of friends to use as examples to illustrate his points. That would have really helped bring the book to life. But I am glad he chose to write it because being a part-time officer is a unique challenge and there isn't very much clear guidance or advice on how to do it successfully. So I applaud the author and I would still recommend this book. I hope he comes out with further additions and continues to refine it because I think he has a valuable and useful product.
