Took a class and enjoyed the book very much. There are not many navigational markers in a mill pond in Wisconsin! Conversely the inter coastal waterway seems to have hundreds - cans or nuns, white and orange or red and white, sequence of lights and colors, beacons or buoys, 2 blasts of the horn at how many seconds or was it 3 blasts? A comprehensive look at the skills needed for responsible boating. Now I am reading about knots on a boat & Jim's gift was a 2 x 4 with a cleat and a good piece of rope.
