Hi, I really do enjoy this author's creative way to write these awesome stories. I have noticed quite a few grammar mistakes but it doesn't take away from these awesome stories in any way. I find myself reading and rereading these awesome stories. I could go on taking about this author's creative mind but I don't want to bore you!
After reading the first book The Girl, I loved almost all of the characters (or what you saw of them), and so as soon as I saw this book I got it and didn’t blink twice. The stories were shorter than I was expecting, but it was surprisingly well written so it never took long to figure out who’s POV it was, the situation etc, and this meant that you could get straight into the story.
The individual stories were not so crucial to the series as a whole, but was so interesting to see character’s back stories and, I love them even more now (especially Reese, who has a short story of his own which is devastatingly beautiful).
Good book, stories are a bit too short and sometimes annoying when you're getting into it and then it changes into a different story. A few vocabulary mistakes that made things a bit difficult to understand at times. If more short stories are written, I would like them to be a bit longer and would like a bit more care taken to look at the correct punctuation and vocabulary. Also, I think £2.03 is a bit too much for short stories. I do appreciate it has been a hard time for the author though so I can understand that she was under a lot of pressure, but thank you for your brilliant work and I am definitely looking forward to book 5 part 2 in May.
These short stories were just ok. Some of the stories just end, which I did not really like. I still don't know the core for the twins. Everytime I read about Julian, I have to keep reminding myself that he just a teenager because in the books I keep picturing him to be in his 30's. The book did show how Rio and Ameana first met and why he fell in love with her but did not really go into much of anything else. Just hope the rest of the series is better.
This book is a brilliant read. You need to read Guardian series The girl book 1 before you read this, because it is short stories about things that have happened and more info on characters that appear in it. This book is good because it gives you the story on some of the things that had you wondering how they happened and how it came to be. Lola St.Vil has an amazing talent. A must read series.
I was on the fence about marking this book as liked or really liked. But in the end it only got liked. I just thought this book was a little bit childish. It was not written the best but I did enjoy the story line and liked the characters enough to want to continue on reading the series. Anyways the ending was left as a cliff hanger so my interest has been peaked.
I've read the entire series thus far and have been hooked from the very first page! I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a good paranormal adventure. It's clean enough for teenagers and interesting enough for adults. Do not read until you've read Book 1, though.
Brilliant brilliant brilliant... Just like every other word of Lola's. Julian's core is very sad... Nearly as bad as Miku and Rio's (revealed in "The Turn" for those who haven't yet reached that book in the series).
i loved every minute of it!! it helped me understand some of the characters behaviors and filled out some blanks ans questions i had. cant wait for the last book.!!!
this was a bit disappointing if am honest I know it was short stories but these were really short and didnt hold much story but I wont let that effect what I think of the whole series
