I don't know what to say, how this series started out i LOVED! Unfortunately it went on a bit of a downward spiral from there..... Let me say in advance before this review, this Authors deadly beauty books were brilliant along with the coveted series for the YA reader... this series was seriously muddled.

Its neither YA or for adults its kinda stuck there in the middle, lots of sex but its all strictly PG rated with a lot of immaturity from all the characters, felt i was reading a paranormal x rated version of high school musical or clueless.....

Adisia and Devin are apparently head over heels in love, even though they break up every other chapter throughout the whole series..... Have you ever watched Scooby Doo run past the same scenery time and time again while running from the masked villain.... well that's how it is... each book was very similar (not including the time travel.)

The characters are very similar and apart from in the bedroom it seems Adisia and Devin rarely have any time together (even on their honeymoon) I felt like there always had to be someone to have their "jaw drop" or their "eyes pop" at Adisia's beauty and Devin's sexiness... And the Ex's a new one each book!

Im so sorry i did not love this series and i gave it to the end, which frankly i kinda guessed would happen... Again..... I loved the Greek elements and mythology wrapped up in this but after reading Owens Epic deadly beauties and beauties live on i was disappointed....

Absolutely adore the series

I am in love with Devin and Asdisa it was sweet angsty and full of laughs. my only draw back there isn't more on Devins point of view and a story for Hale. The story is riveting and gloriously full of romance. Maybe a little more detail in the love scenes would have made it a five star epic novel trilogy. adore!!!

Most powerful

Adisia is the most powerful Immortal. She has two fight Rhea. So what happens when her husband and daughter are in danger she kicks ass!

With the help of all her friends and family they take on all the Dangers together. Unfortunately there's traitors among them.

All ends well an has a HEA!

The only negative this I can say is that there's a lot of errors within the trilogy. The Author should take the time to fix and update the books.

Ok, just ok

This book was a good ending to this trilogy, but it was pretty easy to anticipate what was about to happen. Of course there was over the top drama where the couple had a situation that forced them apart. They're relationship is like a yo-yo where they're together one minute then apart the next. Our was getting a bit tedious.

This is the final book to this story. I have happily re-read this story many times and have enjoyed it immensely. Take a chance. If you love to read stories with supernatural elements and Greek mythology, you just might find that you will love this one.

As I’ve said before, CM is one of my favorite authors ever. However, since this is one of her super early works I can share that she does improve in her stories!

I actually liked this one for the very reason it’s not the best. There was so much freaking back and forth between Adisia and Devin’s insecurities. I love a good OTT drama that took place. But after a while it got exhausting.

We spend the first two books dealing with their insecurities, drama, OW, etc. so I think this book didn’t really need it. I also wished the big plot for tbis book was hinted at early in the second one bc it wouldn’t have seemed as abrupt.

Amazing ending to the trilogy. I was a bit worried Adisia had lost her badass edge but I’m glad it returned. Some really good twists and turns. I’ll miss not hearing more from these characters.

In this final book, Adisia and the team faced stronger enemies and with greater responsibility. The betrayal from Devin had weakened Adisia, and with emotion running high, she must find a way to counter the problem on hands before she could battle the culprit behind all the havoc.

I loved the author’s ability in making me feel connected to Adisia. I could feel the heartache, the insecurities, the emotional conflict, happiness etc. The conclusion to the story was fantastic! However, by the end of the story, I was still baffled with their immortal bonding ceremony. When did they do it? It did feel like some part of the stories were left out.

The epilogue and Devin's POV were a nice touch, though. At first, I thought it was the story of Aster meeting up with the guy destined to be with her, but it wasn't. Seriously though, I couldn't get enough of the world the author had created - I'll miss them!

I have so many pros/cons to this trilogy. For 4-5 years I have been reading this series and, unlike many other novels, I can say for sure that each time i read I get annoyed by the same things. Usually i find new things to frustrate me.

This is not a negative, though. The trick to reading these books is to imagine Adisia and Devin as 19-20 year olds instead of 27 and centuries old. The negatives or frustrations in this book stems from their miscommunication and immature relationship. It is very hot and cold. By the third book this is just almost too frustrating. But don’t fret— the plot makes up for it.

This series overall has a great plot line and the connections are fantastic. There are subtle foreshadowing statements scattered as early as the first book. I think that this is a great read and one that is a bit different than my usual urban/paranormal fantasy.

I'm so happy they were all able to come together after being apart. When Devin died I cried so much but then she was able to turn back time and save him I cried even more I was so happy. I'm so happy they all stayed together and were able to watch Aster grow up.

Definitely 5 Stars

I just loved the book in fact the whole series. You just feel all the emotions, particularly the one where, Devin, cries and begs, Adisia, not to leave him because she feels betrayed by him. It just rip me apart because you feel their loneliness and love for one another; when they are apart? You just wanted to finish reading the book because you wanted to know if they got to spend eternity together. Highly recommended, highly emotional, and a fantastic series.

I love this series!!

This book had so look many roller coasters and twists, I was glued to this book all weekend. She is the embodiment of bravery, power and love. She is such an amazing character. I thoroughly enjoyed the segment at the end when Aster turns 18. I wish they had more children! And the end was a nice preview of their first meeting in Devin's point of view. I cannot stop saying how much I love this series. It will definitely be re-read. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

Loved it!!!!

I'm a big C.M. Owens fan... I've enjoyed all of her books. I gave this book 5 stars for the content, plot and character relationships.

The best thing about her books is she drenches you in the story and makes you want to believe these characters actually exist.

As I've stated in the last two reviews regarding this series, there are many grammatical errors and typos, these do not bother me so I did not let it impact my star choice. If grammatical errors drive you crazy then I suggest you read with caution.

Kaos daughter

There were a lot of editing errors in the entire series but overall I still liked the story. I was still a little irritated by the how immature Adisia was. The first few chapters in the book were about how much she didn't trust Devin. Why marry someone you don't trust. She left him in every book. I had to read this book to complete the series but at times I found it hard to. Good story overall.

Adisia must be one of the frustrating book characters of all time! Why doesn't she trust her husband? She's a piece of work.

Yet again we see no editing, word repetition out the wazoo (words like seduce, smirk, smolder), and dozens upon dozens of ambiguous sex scenes (the author could have saved on word count by not offering vague descriptions over and over-we get it).

Still, I loved the story and enjoyed the series immensely. Seriously, hire an editor!!!!

I was fuming toward Adisia until she finally grew up and stopped being a brat to Devin. It took a while, I was furious, but she did eventually redeem herself. After her temper tantrum was over it was a pretty good book. Fast paced, lots of twists, very interesting. A few things were a bit rushed, but overall a good end to the series.

So Freaking Good

Fantastic!!! I really can't put it down. I've read this series at least 4 times over and it's always an adventure. Adisia is so strong and caring while Devin is a cool drink of water. Such a great compelling plot and the supporting characters are full of life. I re-read things at least twice a year.

Story is pretty good but ended up skipping through their constant bedroom antics - got a bit sick of hearing how much they loved each other as they broke yet another bed. The editing of the book is also a bit shocking in parts.

Loved it! CM Owens is a fantastic writer, you just get drawn into the world she has created. It is a pleasure to read something that has depth to it and takes time to read, rather than it be over in an few hours. So far all her books have proven to be very entertaining!
