Apocalypse Secrets: Baha'i Interpretation of the Book of Revelation

Rate this book
For anyone striving to penetrate the hidden secrets of the Book of Revelation, the unique Apocalypse Secrets: Baha’i Interpretation of the Book of Revelation (2011) is required reading.

Provocatively fresh, Apocalypse Secrets examines the prophecies of the Book of Revelation (the Apocalypse) through the kaleidoscope of the new Baha’i Faith. It pertinently explains how the trying end-time events that are now crescendoing fast and furious across the planet are doubling as wonderful beginning times launching a prosperous new Millennium. Set in the Middle East, it cogently decodes the Apocalypse as a multi-millennial history of seven major Empires and seven major Faiths. It shows how materialism and militarism have historically caused the mess that the world is in, especially the apocalyptic war now waging between the beast of Muslim Militarism driving the Middle East and the Babylon of Malignant Materialism driving the Christian West, combined with economic chaos that is spiraling the globe into depression. Its good news is that the rise of spiritual economics will help to fix the mess and to turn our painful end-times into wonderful beginning times.

Amazingly thorough and exceedingly interesting and detailed, Apocalypse Secrets is a profound and astonishing work in biblical interpretation that penetrates great religious mysteries. It is a tour de force. Its strikingly scholarly and original interpretation is comprehensive, holistic, and rationally consistent. Beautifully researched and crafted, Apocalypse Secrets intelligently argues that the Book of Revelation extends far beyond its strictly Christic origin in bridging Faiths and transcending religious dogma with amazing clarity and prescience. In particular, it explains nineteen-centuries-worth of troubled events in Christianity and Islam.

Apocalypse Secrets makes for an engaging, enlightening, and thought-provoking read. It will influence many future works about the subject and shall become a template of understanding and peace for all. People who are interested in prophecy will never look at the Book of Revelation the same again. Its author Dr John Able is a retired intensive-care physician who has trained, taught, and practiced at prestigious universities in the UK, Israel, and the USA. His stylish rhetoric is colorful and alive. His book’s 400 pages contain a distinctive parallel interpretation whose lively translation sticks to the intention of the original Greek in forming an authoritative base amplified by chapter Comments, other sections, and 60 informative illustrations, mostly color. His book’s sheer weight of References and its interesting Translation Section that addresses Greek and Hebrew sources, he wisely leaves to the end.

Finally finished this. Lol, I'm intrigued that a non-Baha'i wrote such an excellent Baha'i perspective of Revelation. Love all the explained symbols and prophecies <3
