John Constantine races around the globe to stop the world’s most dangerous mages from obtaining a powerful artifact, but as always with Constantine, victory could come with a price.

Here’s the funny thing about magic. It doesn't matter if you understand the cost. It doesn't matter if you’ve been burned by it again and again. If everything you love and value has been sacrificed, bit by bit. It feels fantastic.
It's not mind-blowing, but has decent plotting, good illustrations, and an interesting continuation of the plot started in issue 1. I'm not jumping to get the next issue, but I'll definitely read it at some point.
40. - This is everything I'm looking for from a Constantine comic, except perhaps not enough profanity.
Constantine is desperately nihilistic yet feels the need to do good, giving him a sort of haunted charm that follows him wherever he goes. The art team of Renato Guedes and Marcelo Maiolo seem to have already snapped into focus, with beautiful artwork throughout that just enough of a twist on the superhero norm to make this book feel different.
Constantine's mission to gather the pieces of Croydon's Compass takes him to Myanmar and an encounter with the Spectre. The cover is very misleading as it's got nothing to do with the contents, it's just part of DC's dumb WTF month. Full review here!
