HDU #2

Dirt

Rate this book
Five months ago, Amanda Nathan was a dumped, scorned, and tragically bored moderator for the Internet's largest gossip community "HDU," spending her small town days and nights hiding her pitiable life from catty neighbors. Then, she became an overnight sensation after negotiating a contract to stage a romance with Hollywood's favorite womanizer, going from moderating the pages of HDU to gracing them daily.

Now, there are no contracts involved in Amanda's life -- she's on top of the world with not only a job on the TV writing staff of Leadoff but a Hollywood publicist, a pumped up wardrobe, and a real-life, contract-free boyfriend in the former womanizer, Liam Brody.

But how long will the good times last in an industry known for the worst kinds of drama? Amanda's high fashion closet isn't exactly free of skeletons considering her past with actress Casey Mulreed, creator of Leadoff's rival TV show, Legacy -- a prodigy and darling so loved by America that her recently outed addiction can't keep her from the very top of the industry, where she has every last intention to stay. And of course, keeping that crown requires butting heads with Amanda -- to say the least.

Good thing this time, the small town girl from Merit, Missouri is just a tad more prepared to handle that signature Hollywood scandal...

Liked this one a better than Book 1.
The heroine actually redeemed herself while bring down Miss.Evil-know-it-all Casey ;)
Liam was seriously so absent in the first book that predicted book 2 to be the same way.So I'm glad he Atleast should up a little more by the end of this book.

Nice...just not wow enough to recommend.

3.5 stars. Still.

FINALLY. The duology has ended. *insert the most relieved of all relieved sighs here*

Which means...
1. no more banging my head on the table over anything stupid and impulsive thing that Amanda does
2. no more constantly worrying about all the hundred ways Amanda could screw with Liam's career
3. no more wanting to behead Connor and Casey
4. no more shouting to the world how Amanda could live a hundred lifetimes yet still not deserve Liam

Dirt, the second book in the HDU duology is basically cut from the same cloth as its predecessor. It is filled to the brim with anxiety-inducing, scheming, god-I-am-so-annoyed celebrity drama, which can either be solved through actual communication or by basically just killing the antagonist (or his/her career, whichever you prefer).

This time around, you can see the gradual effect that Hollywood is having on Amanda Nathan (our 90% stupid, 10% nice heroine) who is now scheming ala Casey, breaking her promise to Liam, and just basically endangering Liam's hard-fought ten-year-old career, all for exacting revenge against Casey despite having been warned by several parties (even Liam) not to. But of course, our not-thinking-at-all heroine all but goes deaf to this wonderful nugget of wisdom and chases after bad karma. Which, in turn, puts Liam's career in harm, and in turn, causes me to worry to death.

"But why stop there? Why not go ahead and give her another negative emotion?" the author thinks. "So of course, I'll give her hatred!"

I have never in my life wanted to throttle a character's neck so much. I am not screwing with you guys; my hatred for Casey and Connor is so big and so real that it is a burning, tangible thing that eats up the remaining uncharred pieces of my already-cold heart. (Wow, I am dramatic.) But seriously, though. Casey is just, for lack of better words, a f*cking psycho. She's such a manipulative, cold-hearted b*tch who blackmails everyone just to get what she wants. This girl's soul must have a really high price in fictional hell.

"So, doll, unless you listen like a good little girl, you better believe that I’ll find some nice, juicy bait to lure your boy out with. And then it’s lights out for his career and he’ll have you thank for the rest of his shitty, embarrassing life. How’s that sound, doll?”

Gawd, she makes me want to pull out my hair one by one. She plays with people's lives like puppets in a string and you know what pisses me off more? It's that when Amanda finally has something on her, she thinks she's got the effing right to yell at Amanda to lay off her business. Take your own piece of advice, you effing hypocrite.

She's so childish and immature and immoral that it even makes it hard for me to believe that she has the capacity to . Half the time, I just wanted to feed her pretty little head to the poor piranhas in the Amazon who are suffering from lack of carnivorous food.

Next, let's talk about Connor Self-Righteous Class-A Jerkhole Schaffer.

“You’re a cancer to other people. You suck the life out of them to feed your own. You used up all of that kid Ian’s advice to get famous. And then you left his ass behind to get preyed on by someone that you insisted on being friends with even when Liam warned you she was toxic. You screwed over your friend and then both of you screwed over Liam—and then even Dylan. And you know what, I have to give it you—you’re smart. Or I should say cunning. And there’s something very impressively manipulative about you that helps you keep people like Wendy and Liam so close.”

What a bloody jerk. Where does he get off making assumptions about people and judging them as if he's God? Trust me, the jerk can make the purest intentions sound like calculated moves (re: Amanda visiting injured Liam in another state).

His brand of evil is so different from Casey's because he's passive-aggressive but still equally evil. As a man who makes his living with words, Connor The D*ckhead Schaffer can unleash some of the rudest, most pain-inflicting words ever. Sure, I understood his actions when he finally revealed his reasons for not trusting Liam with Amanda (some of them I actually agree with) but anything that Connor says to Amanda is branded with the coldest, most callous fire that inflicts so much pain that even I, as the reader, am almost reduced to tears.

Next topic: how Amanda doesn't deserve Liam's big, loving heart and drop-dead gorgeous face.

Proof: "If I could choose for it to be all gone, I would but it’s here and it’s happening so I just have to handle it, Amanda, because I love you and I don’t care what bullshit I have to fight through so we can be peaceful and happy together at some point. That’s enough. I’m not going anywhere. Either you choose an easy life or you choose to care about somebody. I did the latter and I don’t regret it. I wish I didn’t have to worry about you and that I knew you’d always be fine and out of harm but that’s not real life. There’s work involved in life, especially the things you want most. So stop trying to tell me what’s good for me—I know better than anyone what’s good for me and what’s good for me is you.”

Supporting argument: Even after all the crap that Amanda has brought to Liam's life, he is willing to sacrifice the role he's been working ten years for just to be with her. The guy is The Ultimate Boyfriend . I could criticize him for not thinking rationally and for not finding a way so that he could keep both the girl and the job at the end of the day (because let's face it, that option actually exists) but I'm not exactly in the place to do that since I was reduced to a swooning puddle whenever Liam does something in his sweet, sacrificing, taking-the-high-road way.

Despite the above-mentioned complaints, Dirt is actually a very enjoyable read—though I wouldn't exactly say "light" since there were times I was physically hurting from the turn of events. The prose remains engaging and occasionally insterspersed with hilarity. The articles, comments (totally fun and realistic and easily the juiciest), and tweets are the best features of the book, which add to the dramatic celebrity atmosphere of the book. As a Twitter junkie myself, I am finding India Lee totes adorbs bc she gets the hilarious one-liners and dry humor of tweets. To bid my farewell, I give you the best tweets the book has to offer.

7:30PM: Liam giving interview about ankle brace he is wearing and how he has slight limp but no concussion. No one listening, everyone just staring at beauty.
7:42PM: DYING. AMANDA IS IN THE HOUSE AND SHE AND LIAM ARE AT OPPOSITE ENDS OF THE RED CARPET.
7:42PM: Adorable. Liam noticed her right away. Almost looks like he’s ogling.
7:43PM: Omg he is sta
7:43PM: Sorry got too excited because OMG he is staring at her. Flat out gaping. am I the only one who sees this!?!!1
7:44PM: Connor Schaffer just ruined the moment by dragging Liam into some interview. Ugh
7:51PM: Anddd Connor just dragged Liam off the red carpet. In my head it’s bc he needed to stop him from passionately running to his love Amanda. I’m a loser
11:40PM: OMG EYE CONTACT BETWEEN LIAM AND AMANDA. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO SEES IT.
11:48PM: Again, Connor Schaffer takes Liam away because he is the ruiner of my fantasies. And yet the occasional star. How does that work?

Honestly, I was just too busy reading the book to write a review. It was incredibly hard to put down.
I loved Liam and Amanda together. These two are definitely not sappy. It's so enjoyable to see them laugh and grow together. The drama is perfect too, not over done but I ate up every bit of it.
A lot of shit goes down in this book, and Amanda doesn't always react in the right way, but I don't know, it just worked for me. I was okay with it. Usually I hate it when the characters have to go through so much, but this time, I felt that it made sense for Liam and Amanda to experience the crazy.
And gosh! Could you hate a character more than Casey the know-it-all super bitch? Oh yeah, super bitch. I went there.

"Don't let anything change you."

Oh the wise words of the lovely Liam to his girlfriend Amanda.

Just the fact that the title of this book is "Dirt" should be a tip as to what can be expected to happen in this book. Lots and lots of dirt. And it is everywhere. I mean, EVERYWHERE. It's that intense mud-slinging drama that India is so good at creating.

And meanwhile we've got the lovely Liamanda relationship going on and it's actually funny to think about how much Liam has changed since we first met him in HDU. Because in this book, ladies, Liam is just so in love with Amanda that it's insane to think about what he was like before she came into his life. This guy is hopelessly lost with his goo-goo eyes for Amanda and Amanda only.

I don't feel like going into details here about the plot of the book - you'll have to read it yourselves for all the juicy dirt :) - but I do want to point out two things about this book and its characters. Correction. Two things about Amanda.

Number one:
Amanda hardly works at all.

She got by in HDU without barely having to do a thing as far as a job goes. She got her money from Liam mostly, and her job with Wendy was a joke. I was hoping to see more from her in this book, but she still eeks by after doing basically nothing for her "job" at ZINC on the writer's staff. I mean, they've already written the show by the time she even starts her "job".

I actually kinda want to hate the girl for not having a real job where she actually works, but then I'd be hatin' on myself too since I'm no better than she is. I just really wanted to see her find something she was good at and just shine! You know? Make me proud that she could figure out what she wanted to do in life and that she got to accomplish it. I wanted her to succeed where I am failing.

Number two:
Amanda wore a pantsuit to her first day on the job as a writer for the TV show, Leadoff.

Had the girl never heard of 30 Rock before??? Had she never seen the show? Surely if she had even watched a minute of that show she would have learned that a fancy pantsuit, heels, and a ridiculous briefcase were soooooo not the right attire and accessories.

Just look at Frank.

Seriously, I don't know what Amanda was thinking when she dressed up for "work".

I really did enjoy Dirt. I thought it was a great sequel to HDU. I just wish I could control everything Amanda does and says so she never does anything stupid.

It was sort of odd to read a book so concerned with paparazzi and the celebrity news aspect of media at this moment in time. It didn't feel shallow, but it did feel like it came from a different era.

This wasn't as good as I remember the first one being, but it was enjoyable enough! I did enjoy the ~famous person aspect.

I really enjoyed this sequel to HDU. Maybe not as much as the first one, but still quite a bit.

I am a sucker for a good romance and this one just didn't have enough Amanda and Liam time for me. What little time they did have together seemed rushed. It felt like one second they were finally an official couple; in the beginning of the "getting to know you" phase and the next they were throwing around the "I love you's" like they had been together for years. I didn't see the progression of their relationship so it was harder for me to connect with them in this book.

But where the romance may have felt a bit weak, the story was incredible and surprisingly unique, (especially for a theme that has been done, redone and then done yet again lately). As wild as some of the antics were, I could totally see them playing out in real life.

The characters I loved, (and loved to hate), are all back and better than ever. I was so happy to see Ian back to the lovable guy I fell for in the first book and Liam is still as swoon-worthy as ever. Casey is still Casey, but let's face it, I haven't LOVED and HATED a character so much in a long time. Every scene she was in were some of my favorites and her bitch-speak was as hilarious as it was vicious. Amanda grew so much in this book and I loved the person she became. The scenes with the writing team had me laughing out loud and throwing my fist in the air for all of her snarky comebacks. There are quite a few new characters to love as well, (and hate... Connor), and each one added to the story so well.

The ending was just what I was looking for and didn't leave any loose ends, (at least none that bothered me). I would definitely recommend this series and will probably even re-read this one myself, (very high praise from me-if it's not written by KA I usually don't re-read it).

This was more straight-forward than the first one in the sense that it was the second-hand embarassment cringe story I was expecting in the first one.

I was still super into it, but mostly because I had loved the first one so much, I think. Casey's evilness and Connor's disapproval were a bit over-the-top as obstacles. And Liam was still MIA for a good chunk of the book, though I did like what we got of him and their relationship (also, sexytimes! and a lot of hands "palming his chest", which must have been repeated a lot for me to notice it).

I liked the ending and it's open-ended enough that a new book would be plausible. I'd probably read it.

A 3.5 starer..

I'd say this was a good book but I enjoyed the first part better anyway..
Also..I couldn't feel the real chemistry between Liam and Amanda till the later half of the book.
Not sure if that's a good sign.
But when I actually started feeling it..it was good. But of no use.

Anyway..the side characters...were good. But their ending left me feeling incomplete. You can't really understand until you read the book.
I just wonder if there's another book coming. It might be stretching it..but depends if the author can pull it off..

This novel does not live up to its predecessor. The conflict introduced in this novel did not deserve a whole book to resolve and was unbelievable b/c the Amanda was portrayed as smart in the 1st novel and there is no way she would trust someone who betrayed her, her friend and whom she was warned about from someone proven trustworthy. After I read the first 3 chapters, I skipped to the last one to read the conclusion and I easily followed the story (it was that predictable).

I can say that this book was soooooooooooo stressful in comparison to the first one. My poor heart eventually handled it though.
I just wanted to see a little more of Liamanda to be honest, it's just never enough when it comes to them. I want a one-shot sequel where they are married and happy and shit i can't deal right now ughh. It's 3 in the morning and i just finished this insane book&i'm dead.
Have fun reading this book guys it was good anyways.

**1.5**

I liked this one a lot less. There was way too much TSTL going on, mostly by Amanda. I'm all about the strong, independent woman, but when your shit impacts other people to this level, you have to discuss it with them. It just felt like she made the worst choice in every circumstance.

I also despise Connor, and honestly, he was so much The Worst that he took this book down a whole star himself. Also, Connor trashing Amanda for "withholding" was so gross I don't even have words. Like, they were only fake together... and then dude left town for months. In what universe does that qualify as "withholding"? Does Connor feel that Liam - and himself, probably - are entitled to any woman's body if they show them a teeny bit of interest? It is so gross, and even though I already hated Connor, this discussion cemented him as The Worst.

Mostly, why in holy fuck did it feel like Connor was a partner in their relationship? He knew every detail about everything, and had his opinion - always a hateful one - about how everything Amanda was involved in was bad or wrong. Also, if he cares AT ALL about Liam, how can he honestly feel like Liam was better off before, going through a woman a week and being mocked constantly, more famous for his dick than his acting? And this is a thing Connor ACTUALLY SAYS. Which again, leads me to conclude that he is The Worst, and only dislikes Amanda because he wants to be the most important person in Liam's life. Those other women were no threat to him, but Amanda is. And Connor is so far out of line - with no repercussions - that it makes me sick.

I think in the end this series wasn't for me. I hate the whole "famous for being famous" thing - I think those are pretty much the worst people in the world. I was okay with it when it seemed like, in the first book, Amanda was just using it as a jumping off point to do something she loved - like writing. But she never really did (she drops writing like a hot rock). And her ending in this weird, aimless place... and

And the relationship was also a drag. I hate uneven relationships like this, with Liam practically doing backflips just to get Amanda to like him, while she waltzes through giving him about as much attention as a puppy. What does she ever do to earn him, to show that she's in this and wants him as much as he wants her? Nada. But he backs her 100%, at all times, and at great personal cost... despite her feeling wishy-washy about the whole thing.

Meh.

I enjoyed the sequel to HDU but not as much as the first book. I found I skimmed through a little as I wanted to know what would happen. I love Amanda and Ian, and Liam was given a bigger part in this book which was great. I would definitely recommend the HDU series - great lighthearted HEA.

So I admit, I went on a binge finishing the sequel to HDU and I admit, even though I give the book a three-and-a-half stars, the way things wrapped up is supremely passable, managing to answer the questions the first book raised (which, at this point, is all I ask for, really).

The novel picks up about three months after the first one ended with some pieces pulled from the ubiquitous gossip blogs that are as integral to the novel as the characters (It wouldn't be dirt without the gossip, wouldn't it?) and Amanda Nathan, is living a luxe life, managing to score a job writing for a highly anticipated TV series, and finally, finally upgrading her fake boyfriend to real boyfriend status.

Of course, being the continuation of the first book, the second book naturally focuses on Amanda's dispute with reigning Hollywood it-girl Casey Mulreed who has managed to make her life (and her best friend's life) a living hell. Honestly, props to India Lee for managing to create an extremely unlikable character that she makes the girl we're all rooting for (well, I'm rooting for) a saint, considering all the dirty deeds she had to do in this book.

Dirt is full of mud-slinging action, made all the more juicy owing to the fact that when it comes to Hollywood, perception is everything, and sometimes (as in the case of this book), what the rumor mill says is law. India Lee does a great job of conjuring up clusterfucks our heroine has to try to get herself out of as well as introducing new characters that help propel the story.

So why dock the extra half-star from the first book? Well, I think it goes without saying that a lot more pressure goes with a sequel to take what the first book has given, try to expand it, as well as manage to tie all the loose ends that arise along the way.

I think with the haste of managing to create enough scandal to make it as saucy as the first book as well as tie off all those plot twists in order have a clean finish, the author sacrifices the integrity of the novel's plot, as well as its characters. It, and they, don't seem quite there.

Granted, a bit more exploration was done with the character of Hollywood hunk and reformed playboy Liam Brody (a backstory as bit as endearing as the leading lady's), all the other characters never get any kind of in-depth treatment and sometimes, it feels like they were there simply as accessories.

However, even with all that, I am quite satisfied with the way things play out. It's not as clean as I would have liked but it will do. If you've read HDU already, you'll have no choice but to pick up this one. If you won't stay for the writing, at least stay to America's sweetheart's (not saying which!) fall from grace.

Compared to HDU, Dirt was a massive disappointment. Most of the characters are back, but instead of diving even deeper into a deliciously evil revenge fantasy based in the entertainment and tabloid world, in Dirt the action is toned down considerably. No evil Megan figure, no seductive British actor to throw a spanner in the works; just Amanda and Liam, halfheartedly battling against ambitious Casey and a crazy director, while newly dull Ian sips Kombucha and lives off vegetarian meals while trying to avoid bad karma.

My first issue was the staggering amount of forced sex scenes between Liam and Amanda. I guess it's nice to read about hot people having hot sex if you're reading erotica, but I was reading Dirt. Where was my over the top tabloid drama? A dating couple having sex isn't actually all that riveting to read about, especially when HDU primed me to expect the most outlandish behaviour from everyone involved in Amanda's life. No paparazzi breaking into their hotel room to get some photos of all the hot sex? No cases of misunderstandings over who was having hot sex with whom? Nope, just some boring bonking in between all the boring non-drama.

The drama felt as forced as the sex scenes. What I particularly enjoyed about HDU was how Amanda was seemingly swept along, unable to extricate herself from the ridiculous situations she got herself into. In Dirt, she got involved in petty nonsense, a cat fight more suited to the schoolyard than an adult's life. She made poor life choices, stupid decisions that got her involved in an inconsequential rivalry that never felt serious. The tension in HDU left me flopping about in a puddle of nervous sweat, whereas my heart rate barely changed while reading Dirt. The people were unlikeable and judgmental to the point of caricature. The three Joes? Give me a break.

I am saddened to say that Dirt was unable to keep up with the extremely high standards set by HDU. The first book managed to capture the silly excitement people feel when reading celebrity gossip, while also reminding us how utterly ridiculous and staged the entertainment industry is. Dirt lacked both the charm and wit of the first book, leaving me with flat characters and a lackluster storyline. What a pity. Not recommended.

Summary

This book started where how there you left off. Amanda now has a job working for one of the most respected creator in he to show industry. There is a rivalry with her and Casey. Ian is now sober as he went under treatment in rehab. He met Harper who have being helping him cope with every day life. Here was a situation where Casey blackmailed Amanda which she then told the world that she and Liam had a contract with their relationship. People where shocked which put a downer in the next movie that Liam was working on. Things kept going downwards for Liam and Amanda. They had to break up so that the movie will not go down hill. They did their best to hid their relationship to the world as they thought that they had broken up. However Casey knew better and blackmailed Amanda again. She did not tell Liam about this as he did not want to end his career. Ian and Amanda wanted to find Casey weakness so they can bring her down. They did not find such luck. Until Ian came across a journal article that put Casey under a bad light. All they now needed to find evidence. That was had to do. One day Amanda was on her break when jack came to meet her up. It turned out that it was Casey's brother and something happen to him and her which be a dumper into their relationship. Jack told Amanda a story that she used in the to show she was working for. Casey saw this and knew that it was about her story with that she made Liam and Amanda's relationship worst and Amanda made sure that she officially break up with Liam so that he can keep his job. She also left her job and went back home where she was a little bit sad. Out of the blue Ian found a loop hole which they could use to bring Casey down. This involved her brother. They were able to prove that Casey plagiarised and bring her down. At the end of things Liam quit the job offer he had for the next year. But he came looking for Amanda and got back together as they are in love. At the end of the story it showed Ian and harper, jack and her girlfriend (the one who Casey stole her idea from) and Liam's close friend and girlfriend where they celebrated the news years together which was like a whole year since they Amanda and Liam made the contract in the house that Liam bought for Amanda for her birthday and where they celebrated her birthday.

I love this story. It was definitely a breath of fresh air compare to other stories I read last year.

Solid 4 stars. I liked this book. A lot. Yes, it still had those long sentences in the dialogues that had unnecessary clauses and explanations, but it was okay. Justice was served.

I agree with other reviewers about appreciating Liam's devotion in this book. Amanda played the noble idiot multiple times, but Liam never wavered, turning the cliché of lie-based separation on its head. Knowing Liam would never give up kept me reading this book, even as Casey's madness lurked at every corner.

Yeah, Amanda's still clueless at the end, but she has proved her mettle by surviving a crazy year. V is for Virgin is the obvious comparison for me. I was awed by the heroine and I legitimately looked up to her accomplishments, which were stellar. But I suppose each book has its own kind of magic, whether that be confident, brilliant heroines who rise in the face of the media, or the less assured ones who backstab and are backstabbed in the headlines of celebrity gossip. It was a satisfying conclusion, and ended quite powerfully.

The conclusion of Liamanda's story!

Amanda is a small town girl and Liam is a rising actor... He needed her help as a moderator of a celebrity gossip site to help change his image..

What started out as a way to get her out of her small home town turns out to be finding love in a place she least expected it. There was drama... Drama, drama, drama! It was a real celebrity story and at times it had me wanting to smack Amanda to knock some sense into her.

I enjoyed this book, it didn't quite have the ending I envisioned but it was ok. Amanda was still undecided about life and Liam was back at square one... I wished it had ended with an Oscar for Liam... I guess I'll write that in my head, where despite everyone and everything Liamanda would be there and he'd show that he has the girl and his acting was memorable!

This book had so much drama and complications I could not stop reading...

description

The second book follows Amanda trying to get revenge on Casey Mulreed after what she did to Ian. And no matter how hard she tried Casey always had the upper hand. Casey was one conniving brat!

In turn Amanda's relationship with Liam became more difficult because Casey kept attacking Amanda which in turn affected Liam's career.

It has so many twists and turns that i could not keep up.

Wished there was an Epilogue, where we get to read about Amanda's HEA.

Good read, thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was a drama packed sequel in comparasion to HDU...and I loved it completely. Liam and Amanda were so cute (even if they were apart), Connor was a diva, Casey was a conniving little devil, Ian and Harper were a good support system, and I loved it all. The stalkeraazi in the green baseball hat was a hilarious twist. Even if he did ruin a lot of things for Liam, he was so great in the story line. The author really kept me guessing with him. The ending wrapped everything up nicely and I feel like I have complete closure with the book. The HDU series was good!!

4 solid stars for the second book in HDU novel by India Lee.
I read a lot of comments that said that it wasn't as good as the first book, but actually reading it was a solid trama, I wanted though, see grew up this story, because, yeah, we got the drama, but I think the characters need to grew up more, in their personal lives. For me this seems like it doesn't end here.

Big cheers for LIAMANDA!!!!! I so love how their relationship grew, that was a precious description.

A-ma-zing

I thought this was awesome. although one quick suggestion, you could have put how Ian and Harper met. Plus you could have made like had gemma from hidden gem with The Court maybe hire Amanda and have the that whole huge gang together like Gavin zoe Leah Kate etc. consider this plz!! otherwise I loooved it!! it is like totally on my upper list of books which means it's one of my faves.

India Lee did it again, people. This book was just as astounding as the last. I simply couldn't stop reading; Amanda's story had me hooked. All I can say is, if Lee writes another HDU book, I will be ON that. Like flies on crap.

Maybe that wasn't the best comparison. But anyway.

Five fully earned stars.

The best kind of guilty pleasure read. I got so sucked into Amanda's story that putting down the first book and this one to resume normal life tasks was hard. It's a lite ridiculous and self indulgent but in some of the best ways. I wouldn't be mad if some where down the line India wrote a third novel.

I RLY DISLIKE THIS BOOK, BUT I FEEL LIKE IT SHOULDN'T TAKE LONG TO FINISH, SO I SHOULD JUST POWER THROUGH.

DIRT BY INDIA LEE. SO FAR THE VILLAIN HAS HACKED THE HEROINE'S EMAIL ACCOUNT AND IS BLACKMAILING HER BASED ON THE CONTENTS, AND THE HEROINE HAS DONE FUCK ALL, SAVE FOR DELETING HER ENTIRE INBOX. JFC, SHE HASN'T EVEN DONE THE BARE MINIMUM OF CHANGING HER PASSWORD.
