Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound. She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

THOUGHTS
And the plot thickens, I thought to myself once I reached the end of the story in book two of William (The Valentines book 2). I am not sure if this could be a stand alone book with so much going on within the story. I would advise the reader to read book one Robert (The Valentines), as the foundation is laid out and the events leading up to Katie's kidnapping is shown as it was one of the main climax to the story in Robert (The Valentines book 1).
In this book there were a few surprises that I liked and it all revolves around William, a vampire and Katie a witch, showing their past coming full circle into the present. William is becoming crazy trying to find Katie and keep his promise to protect her as he was unable to do many years ago with his first mate. Although William is still able to communicate with Katie mentally, it is not enough for him as time is running out. I enjoyed their chemistry in Robert (The Valentines book 1) as well as in William (The Valentines book 2). They both wanted to be with each other and were determine to do so. The story also goes in and out with different story lines leading up to the climax of the story. With the different story lines you're becoming familiar with the different characters old and new.
The second book gave us more in depth view of the Valentines family, all six brothers and sisters where shown and used. The secondary storyline brewing in this book are between Adam Valentines and Poppy, a necromancer. With Adam begin a vampire and Poppy being what she is, this should be an interesting couple for the next book in the series. I loved that, physically, the author showed Poppy in a different way that was not your typical beauty, and it was not a turn off for me. As the story progress, much more is learned about James, wolf pack Alpha and enemy.
Books In Series: Robert (The Valentines) #1 William (The Valentines) #2
Was a little confusing to start with, but soon got I to the storyline. Lo ed the twist with the witch Emma. At the beginning you think she does to save William. How he finds Katie isn't clear. Loved it though ready to read the next one Adam.😍
Willam is a vampire that is barely holding on to his sane side. He lost the woman that he loved years ago and has been feeling like a failure since then. That all changes when he starts the bonding with Katie.
Katie is a witch and is kinapped by the werewolves. If Katie dies, William will lose all his salvation and there will be no help for him.
I am really loving the Valentine's. Williams story is a liitle dark and not one that I connected with as much as the first one. I still loved it and can't wait to read more.
I loved this book. OMW this book pulled at my heart strings. It has one of the saddest moments I've ever read, I cried like a baby! But how lovely is William. He is definately one of my favourite alpha males. I just love him. Katie & William make a great couple. If I could I would give this book 5.5 stars :)
I wished the series had more of the first characters in the first installment in this series. Instead it moved on to William and Katie and while I was happy to read their story which was kind of screwed up.. (making a deal with an angel.. wtf?) I missed the old characters badly.
I loved both of these characters. The powerful virgin and the experienced vampire. The action. The mystery and the sex. Yeah I loved that. The underling subplots I also loved.
