About the author

For Deborah Fletcher Mello, writing is as necessary as breathing and she firmly believes that if she could not write she would cease to exist. Her first novel, TAKE ME TO HEART, earned her a 2004 Romance Slam Jam nomination for Best New Author. In 2005 she received Book of the Year and Favorite Heroine nominations for her novel THE RIGHT SIDE OF LOVE. In 2008, Deborah won the Romantic Times Reviewers Choice award for Best Series Romance for her ninth novel, TAME A WILD STALLION.

A true renaissance woman, Deborah's many career paths have included working as a retail buyer and size model for a national women's clothing chain, a finance manager for a well-known beverage organization, a sales manager for an infamous candy company, a telecommunications administrator and corporate trainer for a hotel-owning company, an art gallery director for a world-renowned artist, and an administrative consultant for multiple organizations throughout the United States. Deborah is also a licensed real estate broker and general building contractor.

Born and raised in Connecticut, Deborah maintains base camp in North Carolina but considers home to be wherever the moment moves her.

This is Matthew's story and it was worth the wait. Finally the questions about whether he fathered a child with Vanessa is answered. I loved the way the relationship between Matthew and Katrina developed. They truly got to know each other and became friends before taking their relationship to the next level. Katrina was a strong single parent not afraid to express her feelings. There was no game playing, although there was a misunderstanding the could have cost them their future together. Its always great to revisit the characters from the previous books. If you haven't read the Stallion series yet you are missing a treat. This is one of my favorite series. It was also refreshing to read a book that was properly edited.

This was a great, really romantic read. Matthew Stallion really pulled out all the stops for Katrina. Katrina seemed like she was going to be really frigid in the beginning, but she really surprised be with her willingness to open up to Matthew. These two had a fiery passion for one another, and it showed int he hot love scenes. I wanted their story to go on to see how their new family will come together. With Katrina's son Collin, and the new baby coming it would make for a good continuation of their story. Well done.

A GREAT follow-up to the Stallion series...the attraction between Katrina & Matthew is SIZZLING...it's ALWAYS nice catching up with the whole Stallion clan and their friends...I hope to find out more about the mystery man that fathered Vanessa's baby...just not buying the whole sperm donor tale (smile)...also hope to read more about Katrina's family the Boudreaux's...quite an INTRIGUING close-knit family...I DEFINITELY can't wait to see if Luke and Joann will FINALLY tie the knot!

An enjoyable romance featuring to prominent people, wealthy Texan Matthew Stallion and Judge Katrina Broomes. The judge who is a widow meets Matthew when her teenage son is involved in a car theft and the court assigns Matthew as his mentor. Their story is set against the backdrop of two well-to-do families with the same set of values. A must read romance!

This as a sweet story another Stallion Falls in love Matthew is a very sexy and romantic men and Katrina is a strong loving woman i have a feeling we will be hearing more from Katrina's family . I will be waiting to read about this wonderful family.

Loved this book. Matthew Stallion is irresistible and he's out to win the heart of Judge Katrina Broomes (widow). She's calm, old-fashioned and has a 15 yr old son. She won't know what hit her when Matthew pursues her. Good book and nice introduction to the Boudreaux family.
