This book has good ideas for very specific circumstances. I need something more general. And the before and after pictures are just confusing - not taken at the same angle, not showing the whole room, etc. But it got bonus points for the room layout pages in the back that will save me a bunch of time from my typical measuring, cutting, and piecing on graph paper!

This book is aimed at beginners when it comes to interior design, something I unfortunately didn't know when I bought it. It does have a couple good ideas, but overall, it didn't tell me anything I didn't already know.
