Coco Simon always dreamed of opening a cupcake bakery, but she’s afraid she would eat all the profits. When she’s not daydreaming about cupcakes, Coco edits children’s books and has written close to 100 books for children, tweens, and young adults, which is a lot less than the number of cupcakes she’s eaten. Cupcake Diaries is the first time Coco has mixed her love of cupcakes with writing.
This series just keeps getting better and better. This series has remained dear to my heart because the girls are continually growing up and facing new challenges together. In this installment, Cupcaker Emma will have to keep a secret so earth shattering, it will almost make her burst into a million pieces. She has been asked to make cupcakes for a super secret wedding of a Hollywood star. The sad thing is, she has to keep the secret from her fellow Cupcakers: Katie, Alex, and Mia. The story just flows and it was such a quick read. This series is so much fun to read. I can't wait to read the next one.
I loved this book! Romaine Ford is back in town! And she asks Emma for cupcakes! For her Movie premiere and her... wedding! But my favorite part is that it’s all top secret. -Lily
I enjoyed this book! WARNING SPOILERS! The only problem I had with this book was that it didn't have too much of an exciting plot but enough to keep me interested. Celebrity Romaine Ford who knows tween Emma asks her to bake ten dozen cupcakes for her wedding on Saturday but she has to keep it a secret even from her best friends in the Cupcake Club. She is allowed to tell her mom but if word spreads further Romaine will have press at her wedding bombarding her. But she gets a call from Romaine saying Emma and her cupcake friends can bake ten dozen cupcakes for her movie premiere on Friday. They manage to get it all done but the secret kills Emma inside. Eventually the day before the Cupcakers find out and everything turns out okay. So Emma had nothing to worry about after all. I recommend this book for ages 6+. I will not reread this book.

I liked this book because it is still talking about Emma! This story is more exciting than the other chapters.
This book is talking about a fourth grader girl named Emma. She was invited from a very important event, which a star named Romaine Ford's wedding! She was so excited to tell her friends but it was her own secret that she can't spill out the secret to her friends. She was hired to make the cupcakes for Romaine. At last, she did told the secret to her friends but they helped Emma to make the best cupcake for Romaine!
I recommended the book to girls that is in the age of primary school. It will be fun as you read along.....
The writing has started to get on my nerves. It is purposely dumbed down when it does not need to be. "I can't believe it!" I cried. "It's torturous! Irritating! Humiliating! Embarrassing!" I said.
Kids are smarter then some of these authors think they are. They also appreciate well written books with content age-appropriate:/
This entry is not my favorite in the series. It took me several stops and starts before I was able to get into it. Overall, I liked the book but, I didn't love it.
