Overshare is a totally new kind of "book". It's sort of like an epistolary novel, sort of like a graphic novel, sort of like a traditional novel, and yet, not quite any of those things. It's unlike any ebook that's come before.Overshare tells the (fictional) story of Michael Ayres, a young man embarking on a year filled with far more changes and challenges than he can handle. Michael's story is told entirely in the form of his own, public updates to various social media sites, where he reveals much more about himself and what's going on in his life than he intends or realizes—often as much through what he doesn't post, as what he does. The reader sees Michael's "Faceplace" updates and images, his friends' responses to them, his "twiddle" updates, and his blog posts, just the same as if they were being viewed online on real websites.Overshare poses the given how easily the reader can see Michael's life unraveling, despite not knowing him personally, how easily can the reader's social media followers open a window into the reader's own life as well?----------------------------------------------------------------------------------(Note - due to the graphics-heavy nature of this full-color ebook, it's strongly suggested the reader view it on a Kindle Fire device or in any of the free, full-color Kindle Reader apps (available in the Kindle store). The book still works on a black and white reader, but the experience is far richer in color. Also, note that on a Kindle Fire device, tapping any of the images twice will enlarge them.)
